The next day Daniel came back to work looking happy.Her mother's recovery from heart attack and the sweet message of care that Susan sent to him when he was in trouble made him happy.It was on Friday at work.Daniel was putting on white corporate shirt which shows his muscular statue..
As he entered his office all the staff greeted him with respectful nods and attention.He gathered everyone for a brief meeting to address how the company will grow.After the meeting, Daniel tried to approach Susan on the corridor.
"Hello darling,why have you been avoiding me,I sent one of my staffs to call you but you ignored me"Daniel's eye brow furrowed in a worry.
Susan was still feeling insecured about Daniel.She still doubts Daniel's love but she still loves him uncontrollably.
"Nothing,I am not trying to avoid you.i just needed to be alone for sometime"She faked a smile but she does not want Daniel to feel unloved.
"Alright,lets go to my office,I have something to discuss with you"daniel spoke to Susan as he leads the way to his office.
As they entered the office Susan closed the door behind.Her high heel shoes made silent noises against the tiles.She sat on the chair and crossed her legs.
"How was your mother's operation,hope it was successful"Susan asked as her cheeks expanded in smiles.
"Yes,it was successful,thank you for your message.i really appreciate your concern".Daniel spoke to Susan with a smile on his face.She faked the smile because deep inside of her she still doubts Daniel's love for her.
Immediately a call came in, Veronica was calling daniel.when Daniel heard his phone ring tone his heart panicked because whether he picks the call or not Susan will still feel insecured, especially if he does not tell Susan who the person is.Daniel did not pick the call but he ended it.
As Susan heard the ring tone her face changed.She became sad.Daniel brought out his phone in his pocket and needed the call.He said to Susan.
"Darling what is it?you know I love you.I can gave you anything you want and do anything for you.The person that called me was Veronica but I have not picked her call for weeks now"Daniel looked straight into her eyes.His charming eyes were full of softness and sincerity.
Daniel showed Susan the call log in his phone to show that he have not picked her call for weeks.
"Alright my love"immediately she felt relieved of the doubt she had towards Daniel.S stood up and walked towards Daniel.When she got close to Daniel she used one of her hands to gently touch Daniel's cheek as she was smiling.
Susan had already began to believe that Daniel is a good person right from when Vivian her friend spoke to her.She also trust Daniel the more as Daniel showed her evidence that he has not been picking Veronica's call for weeks .
Daniel stood up from his sitting position.Susan moved her lip closer to Daniel's lip.They began to kiss deeply.their tongues were touching each other.
Susan drew her lips away gently as they stopped kissing.She said to him."I have never seen a man who is so faithful and sincere to his girlfriend like you"she gave a smile of trust.
Susan said to Daniel"I have some good news for you Daniel "she smiled.
"What is the good news about"Daniel asked in curiosity as he wrapped his hands around her waist.
"I am pregnant for you"
Daniel heart beat increased,he immediately because confused because Veronica is claiming to be pregnant for him while Susan is here talking about being pregnant for him.
He forced a smile in his face and said to her"We will celebrate our relationship and also celebrate this today by going out to the beach.we are going to enjoy ourselves and have a good time"
He spoke by forcing those words from his mouth.His feelings were different from what he is saying.He began to feel a bit ashamed of having children from different women.He became nervous because of the criticism he will get from his staffs and other people if they discover that two women are pregnant for him.
Daniel wanted the celebration to be private and hidden from the public so that his family can be at peace with him, especially his mother.That was why he choose the beach,which is hidden from the office environment.
As Daniel told Susan that they will celebrate their relationship in the beach,Susan's heart melted so deeply.
"Alright,we will make it memoriable,we are going to start the celebration in the office here and pictures will be taken.we are also going out to the restaurant to enjoy ourselves"She looked at Daniel like a precious gold in her heart as she used her two hands to wrap around Daniel's head.
Daniel panicked a bit because Susan mentioned celebrating their relationship in the office.This can lead to the spread of information by friends and also by social media that Daniel is officially dating Susan,which can put the life of his mother Jessica at risk of panick and a potential heart attack.if Susan begins to paste the pictures in social media his family members can see it and they will hate him the more.His mom just survived heart attack operation and now Susan is demanding for pictures to be taken.
Daniel cannot oppose Susan's decision either because of he does that it will make Susan feeling that Daniel cannot announce her as his girlfriend in the public.This can lead to heartbreak.
Susan Actually wanted to use the pictures to send messages to Veronica that Daniel loves her.She also wanted the world to know that she is dating Daniel.
Daniel became very nervous.He pretended by hiding his fears and said"Anything you want my love I will do it"Daniel replied with a forced smile.
That day they did a party in the company.Daniel wanted to celebrate his mother who survived heart attack and also his girlfriend who have been supportive of him.The panick in his heart kept increasing.
Daniel walked to one of his staff named Gabriel and said"pl...ple..please tell everyone in this company that there will be a little celebration during break.I have something to celebrate with everyone"He carried smile but worries was in his mind.
"Okay sir"Gabriel replied as he noticed the face of Daniel was stiff and he was not looking like who is truly happy to celebrate anything.
After 40 minutes the small party had begun already.Susan had already ordered for drinks and cake.Daniel was still looking worried but he tried to hide it from Susan.
Friend's in the office have started sending messages to their friends outside the office while some of them have started posting messages on social media about the party.Susan's friends were curious to know how the celebration will look like.The news had already gotten to Fred, Elizabeth, Jessica, Veronica and mirabell through Facebook and through some of their friends who works in the company.
Veronica was the first person to send a text message after eight missed.The text message reads "you are a fool.if you don't all these nonsense that you are doing with that low life sercetary ,I will report you to court and you be punished.You will pay me huge amount of your wealth by according to the order of the court"
Immediately Daniel's heart beat increased,he began to rub his hands on his head because he was confused.
When it was time for the party everyone was in a small hall.there were chairs for them to sit down.Soft drinks, wines, cake and snacks of different types had already been ordered form shops and are kept at the front of everyone.
Susan was the first person that walked into the hall.She used one of her hand to hold Daniel as they both walked together to the front of the hall.
Susan was smiling while Daniel was faking his smile because of the trouble that is about to happen in his family.
Susan spoke"hello everyone,I am we are here to announce that I Albert Susan and Alexander Daniels were in a relationship officially"
Immediately everyone began to clap.Daniel spotted some of the staffs who were videoing the whole event.His mind was still in panick.He could not tell them to stop because Susan might think he does not really love her.She might think he is ashamed of her In the public.
All the staffs were smiling in happiness.After the announcement of the relationship, music began to play in the hall.Everyone was served with wine,soft drinks,snacks and other things according to their choice.They were served by staffs who volunteered to serve others
As everyone was eating Fred called Daniel more than 10 times,but Daniel ignored because he knew that Fred is about to talk to him about the trouble in the home.Fred then sent a text message which says"hey Dan,mom is very angry at you.She is already on her way to you office to deal with Susan.
Daniel became lost in confusion as he saw the message.They were dancing towards the sound of the music when Susan immediately noticed that Daniels face had changed.
"Darling what is the problem,is everything okay"
"Yeah, everything is okay"he replied
All of a sudden, Daniel spotted his mother Jessica as she walked into the hall with her eyes in tears.Daniel could not control his heart beat any longer.
He said to Susan "baby my mom is here and she is coming in anger"
Susan turned her neck towards the entrance of the hall and saw a woman with wrinkles on her face,reddish eyes and her dress was looking so rough.Her heart was full of bad words she will use to humiliate Susan.
Susan panick.She said to herself "if this woman is coming to humiliate me then I am ready for her.I am ready to fight for the love I have for Daniel"
