Fred looked confused.He was standing at the front of Elizabeth.He kept mute for 7 seconds.he became short of words.His secret love for susan was a barrier to Elizabeth's evil plans.
"You are not saying anything.why are you keeping quiet if not because you still love her"Elizabeth spoke again.
"Please enough of your insults,I don't love Susan.killing her will only put us in more trouble.Elizabeth you need to calm down.What you need is a therapist that will help you on dealing with what you are going through".Fred suggested to Elizabeth.
Elizabeth looked at Fred and said"don't worry,I will do it myself.For now I want to be alone".She closed the guest room to think.
"Elizabeth, listen you have to be careful of whatever thing you want to do to Susan"Fred was afraid of what Elizabeth might do to Susan.
3 months later Veronica ready to deliver the baby.Her mom Janet was already holding her at her back.It all started in the sitting room when they were watching movie.All of a sudden Veronica shouted.
She said "my stomach"she felt the pain as her eyes were partially closed because of the pain.Immediately her mom carried her to the hospital.Janet already called Daniel's mom to come and see her grandson.No one knew that the baby was never for Daniel but for a stranger named Philip except Veronica.
That day the hospital was full of tension.Veronica was laid on the ambulance and was rushed into the delivery room by the nurses.When they got to the delivery room.Veronica was asked to push the baby by the gynaecologist named Ambrose.Veronica's mom Janet was outside the delivery room in the hospital.She had already called Jessica to come to the hospital.
Few minutes later Daniel's mom came to the hospital together with Fred and Christiana.
"Good morning,how are you doing"Jessica greeted Janet.She tried to smile even though she was tensed inside of her.
"I am fine, Veronica is in the delivery room already"
"Alright,we will wait for her here.we hope it's a boy that she will deliver "Jessica smiled.She wanted a son that will inherit Daniel's company.
"Yeah,we also hope so"Janet was excited
Janet wanted a boy because she wants her son to benefit from Daniel's wealth.janet is a judge in court.many years ago janet helped Daniel's father to win a major case in court.The case was about Daniel's father's business.The land he used for the business was owned by someone but it was sold to Daniel's father by another person who was not the true owner of the land.When the owner of the land came,he sued Daniel's father for building his company on a land that is not his own.Daniel's father was in trouble.He knew that if he loses the case his company will be demolished and he will lose about 900 million dollars.He was confused of what to do until he meet janet his class mate at college back then.She promised to illegally help Daniel but on one condition.
The condition was that Daniel's father will allow Daniel to marry her daughter Veronica because they were both in the same class at college back then.Tbis is because she is finding it difficult to get a husband and because Janet wants to benefit from Daniel's father's wealth through her daughter for many years to come.just before that period Daniel and Veronica were already dating.
Daniel's father also paid her 10million dollars for helping him.
After 3 minutes Janet said to Jessica "I want to make a call,I will be back soon"
"Alright,we will wait "Jessica replied.They were all seated in the chair that was provided by the hospital for visitors.
Janet called Daniel's father on the phone.He picked and the next thing she said was "my daughter is about to give birth for your son Veronica"her voice sounded like someone that meant serious business.
"That's good, everything is working as planned"Daniel's father spoke.
"I heard that your son is dating a low life sercetary called susan.i am not happy with that.it was not part of our agreement "
"My son,no he can't do such"Daniel's father answered.He was surprised because his wife Jessica nedr told her anything.She hide it from Williams because she was Afraid that Williams will began to blame her and insult her for not guiding Daniel into marrying Veronica.
Williams have not being in the in country for years now.He is doing business in Denmark while his family is in USA.
"That is not what my daughter told me,she told me that Daniel is dating a local secretary from a poor home.She said that Daniel left her and went a low life that calls herself Susan.I heard that two of her brothers are not even educated".Her voice increased in anger.
"I am sorry for that,I will talk to Daniel and my wife and everything will work fine as planned". Daniel's father Williams was nervous because if the plan fails to work out well his secret might be exposed to the public for justice.When this happens,he will lose millions of dollars and it could cause him and his family a severe pain
"Listen,I don't have time for all this nonsense.Now that my daughter is pregnant for your son,I will make sure he inherit everything that belongs to him and if Daniel refuses to marry my daughter.i will make sure he pays for it in the court.I will also expose you an your dirty secret to the public".Janet sound so serious,her body was shaking in anger because her hope of seeing Veronica being married might be shattered and her grand son might end up a bastard.
"Please janet,it hasn't gotten to this.I will do something about this". Daniel's father Alexander Williams replied in fear and panick.
Immediately Janet ened the call in annoyance.
The next few minutes Williams who is Daniels father called Jessica on the phone while Veronica was still in the labour room.As the phone was ringing Jessica picked the call.
"Good afternoon sweet heart,how are you"she spoke by forcing her voice to be calm.
"Why didn't you tell me that Daniel is dating Susan?.even when I asked you were always lieing to me.why all this"He shouted at the top of his voice.
" Please stop shouting at me,the reason is because I didn't know what to say because if I had tell you,it will make you angry and you might start insulting me.we have quarrel so much in the past and I Ami trying to recover from such bad memories ".
"Now that Daniel is dating Susan you will have to tell him to stop it, convince him to marry Veronica
"I have done everything within my power but Daniel have refused to listen to me"Jessica replied.
"Hmm,don't worry I will try to decieve him by myself by making up lies that can make him afraid and change his decisions".
"What are you going tell him? Jessica asked in curiosity.
"Don't worry I will telling him when I call or meet him"
