After gaining his senses, it was the first time something truly attracted Ador.
Behind him, a large black door gleaming with a dark aura stood tall and imposing. A dark particle was projected toward him, seizing control of his body,he could no longer move of his own will. After a while, he found himself standing face-to-face with that door.
"What is this ominous feeling…" he whispered.
He slightly opened the door. It wasn't hard to push, but the moment he stepped inside, three large dark figures were seated on enormous thrones. They were vast .Each presence stretching as though it could encompass the universe itself. Their energy froze every living being to stillness. Their gaze went straight into Ador's mind; He tried to speak, but no words came out. His throat was dry, his voice gone.
The dark figure in the middle spoke first.
"Finally, after so many years… we meet again, Ador Raukings."
The deep, ancient voice echoed through the hall.
Ador didn't understand a thing. How did they know my name? Have we met before? he thought.
But he dared not to ask.
Suddenly,The figure to the right leaned forward, its tone sharp and filled with disdain..
"You dare to come here after vanishing for years? It seems your power is gone .You are powerless now. By just obtaining one fragment, you dare to show yourself here… 'Forgotten God Ador Raukings.' Be gone!"
A blinding light shot toward him, tearing through his body. Pain surged, and in an instant, he was thrown back into reality.
When he opened his eyes again, the towering black gate had vanished.
It seemed all of it had been just an illusion.
But where the gate had stood moments ago, a faintly shining black thing gleamed faintly.
"Ah… black crystals. So it was here," he muttered.
Yet his thoughts were elsewhere who were those three dark figures? What fragment were they speaking of?
A new mystery had taken root, and for the first time, Ador found himself doubting his own identity.
Far north from the Azure sect territory,Lara mythgail stood motionless,her dark cloak fluttering in the faint wind.'Its been 3 days after the incident with paul party ,suddenly they stopped their experiment and asked to move towards west ,What might have happened there', she thought.
What was but a fleeting moment for Ador had been three whole days in the world outside. Time inside that black gate flowed differently faster, stranger, as though reality itself bent around its will.
"Commander," a voice spoke from behind her. It was Rox trevon,one of her lieutenants,his tone sharp but uneasy."We've found traces of …shadow residue.Its not ours.The binding was of level 5 or higher."
Lara's gaze sharpened.
"Level 5 bindings?That's impossible .Did our arch-six go there otherwise it's impossible for people to easily cast level 5 binding,but arch-six never go outside the main territory",she muttered..
On the other side, Ador was collecting the black crystals.
He was storing all of them in his shadow after all, it was obvious he didn't have infinite pockets, at least not yet.
After a while, while grinding the crystals, he found something dark a tablet-like stone buried deep beneath them. When he took it out, he saw a unique rune engraved on its surface. Suddenly, it moved, sinking into his body, shattering his defense barrier.
After absorbing it, Ador's eyes widened slightly. He could feel it.
He had found a treasure.
"A teleportation rune," he muttered under his breath.
After merging it with his body, he realized he could now teleport anywhere but there were drawbacks. It would take nearly a minute to cast, and the destination had to be a place he already knew. During that time, he couldn't move.
After some time grinding all the crystals, he tried using the teleportation rune. The air twisted around him, energy swirling in waves and in the next moment, he vanished, teleporting directly to the Mission Repository.
The old man sitting there almost dropped his pen.
"You… you came back alive?"
Ador didn't answer. He simply placed the black crystals on the counter. The old man trembled as the dark energy from the crystals filled the air.
"I completed the mission," Ador said flatly.
The old man gulped, nodding slowly. "You… you've advanced again, haven't you?"
Ador gave no reply. He turned and walked out of the hall, his presence alone dimming the lights as he passed.
Within a single night, rumors spread across the Azure Sect.
