' it's been awhile now, but it feels more like I'm on a wild goose chase. This forest is huge... how am I supposed to find one cat in this darned place.'

"Are you kidding me, that could take ages!" I hissed, which sounded strange coming from a mouse.
"...?!" My rage was forced to step aside, giving way for my fear when I heard a new sound all of a sudden, this time more closer than I expected.
' How's that even possible, I should've heard if something came close.' I stopped in my tracks and burrowed underneath a dried leaf.
" Help me take a look around."

Light flew out, leaving only me hiding below the leaf. The strange sounds grew more closer, the closer it got, the more faster my heart rate sped up.
" Well, what is it?" I asked the instant he came back.
[Your not gonna like it.]
" What is it?"
[It's a Monster]
"..."
[It's an Arthropod]
" You're still not making any sense." I didn't know whether this was fun to him but the it sure as hell wasn't for me.
Realizing that the noises were coming closer than even. I decided to try my luck. Running out from my cover, my eyes were diffused with terror when I saw what light had been trying to tell me about.
A creature that was as large as a car but resembled a centipede with glistening exoskeleton, and dagger like feet.
" That's an Arthropod–?"
" Please just tell me anything about it, anything..." I pleaded while scurrying off but the monster continued to follow after me.
[Fine, just this once]

" You're joking, that's it?! What's the point of this if it can't tell me anything useful?!"

' You want me to fight that?!' I almost tripped when I heard him, was he crazy. Turning around to take a look, My blood turned cold at the site of it's countless blade like legs, How was I supposed to fight that.
I'd be better of falling off a cliff than fight that!

[Running isn't a way towards salvation, you'll only be spelling your doom at this.]

" How am I supposed to know?! I'm not a wildlife fanatic."

[Wasn't an insult, just an observation.]
[Anyways, my point is, when an animal, or in this case, a bloodthirsty monster, roams around unchecked, it'll eventually enter the territory of another monster and that could spell some serious conflict]
[Rather than having to deal with two of them, I suggest using the opportunities you have now to your advantage]
" Huh? I have an advantage?" I asked, confused.
[Yes you do. More than one infact]
[For one, the monster chasing you at the moment seems far slower than the others, which makes me believe that body of it's, must be far to heavy to grant it quick mobility, meaning it's nothing but a rigid fortress, if not, it would've caught you by now]
" Huh?" My body stiffened as realization hit me. Turning around the glance at the monster, without the fear in my eyes, I was actually able to see it, light was right, it really wasn't all that fast.
[Secondly, I don't think it actually sees you as a meal, with your size, I belive you might've just peaked it's interests instead]
"...You don't say." My eyes twitched with annoyance, peaked it's interests?
It was trying to kill me because I peaked it's interest?
' What kind of messed up mentality is that.'
At this point, I stopped being afraid of the monster centipede. Instead I was now irritated by it.
[Good, your finally better, now all you have to do is kill it]
" But how am I supposed to do that?"
[Take a closer look at it's body, what do you see]
I did as asked but all I could see was a raging monster still chasing after me.
" Wait..." My mouse pupils dilated when I noticed something out of the ordinary. Along it's body, whenever it moved, there would always be a loose cap in its shell.
[Now we're talking]
This was the first time I actually heard Lights excited voice. To be honest, it was quite refreshing.
[Now all you need to do us get into one of those gasps, it's inner body should be easier to damage and with a body like it's, it's bound to be helpless if you can get inside it]
" Alright, I'll give it a go"
' But how am I supposed to get close to it without being eaten alive or diced like a vegetable.' I thought to myself, taking on the beast was far easier said than done but nevertheless, I didn't lose hope.
To avoid any mishaps, I decided to run around in circles. I didn't want this chase to end up with me having to deal with two monsters.
Fortunately, the centipede followed right behind me, still unwilling to give up.
While running, I kept trying to come up with a way to get close enough to it.
' A head on charge is suicidal.'
' Flying might be a good opportunity but like light said, I have no idea ho
w to fly in the first place.'
' Burrowing underground is a bad choice since I had no idea if this monster centipede could do the same.'
