Synopsis
The flash of cameras blinded Taehyun as he stepped onto the red carpet. It wasn’t his first time facing the press—he was used to screaming fans, the blinding lights, the suffocating weight of fame. But tonight was different. This wasn’t a concert stage. It was the film premiere of Moonlight Whispers—the first high-profile BL movie in the country. And he, a K-pop idol with no acting experience, was standing beside him. Seojun. The award-winning actor who could turn any role into gold. His smirk was infuriatingly confident, his hand casually brushing Taehyun’s as they posed for photos. To the cameras, it was fanservice. To Taehyun, it was dangerous. Because somewhere between the scripted lines and the unscripted touches, Taehyun could no longer tell if Seojun was acting—or if he really meant it. And maybe… that was the scariest part. ---

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1-First Script Reading

___

"Relax. You're shaking."

The deep voice came from across the table. Taehyun glanced up from the script in his hands, his cheeks already heating. Seojun was watching him, chin propped on one hand, eyes glinting with amusement.

"I'm not shaking," Taehyun muttered, clutching the pages tighter.

"You are," Seojun countered, leaning forward until their eyes met. "Don't worry. I'll take care of you."

The other cast members chuckled softly, mistaking the tension for friendly banter. But Taehyun's heart was pounding too hard for him to laugh.

The director called for the first run-through. Taehyun swallowed hard and began reading his lines. His voice was steady enough, but the moment Seojun leaned closer, his throat went dry.

The script called for a simple moment: the two characters holding hands, sharing a quiet exchange. But when Seojun's fingers brushed against his, Taehyun almost dropped the script.

"You have to look at me," Seojun whispered, though it wasn't part of the script. His thumb stroked Taehyun's knuckles lightly, his expression unreadable.

Taehyun's gaze snapped up. Their eyes locked. Something burned between them, quiet but consuming.

The director clapped. "Excellent chemistry! That's what I want to see."

Seojun smirked and finally released him. Taehyun pulled back, his ears burning red.

This was just acting. Just acting.

So why did it feel so real?
