Chapter 5 - Chapter 5 - Rehearsal In The Dark

The rehearsal building was quiet that night, eerily so. Most of the crew had gone home hours ago, the echo of laughter and footsteps replaced by stillness.

Taehyun checked his phone again—11:47 p.m. He shouldn't be here. He knew he shouldn't. Yet when the message came from Seojun— "Meet me at the practice room. We need to work on our chemistry."—he hadn't been able to say no.

He told himself it was for the movie. That he had to improve. That the last thing he wanted was to embarrass himself in front of the cameras. But as he opened the studio door and saw Seojun already waiting—leaning against the wall, sleeves rolled up, eyes glinting like a predator—Taehyun knew it wasn't just about acting anymore.

"You came," Seojun said simply, his voice low and satisfied.

"I… I thought we should… go over the script," Taehyun stammered, clutching the folded pages in his hand like a shield.

Seojun chuckled, pushing off the wall. "The script. Right." He crossed the room in slow, measured steps, until Taehyun found himself backed into the mirror again, trapped under the weight of that gaze.

"You're nervous."

"I'm fine," Taehyun lied, though his body betrayed him—tense shoulders, shallow breaths, trembling fingers.

Seojun smirked. "Then prove it."

Before Taehyun could react, the actor plucked the script from his hand and tossed it aside. His palm came to rest against the mirror, caging Taehyun in. "Forget the lines. Feel me instead."

And then his mouth was on Taehyun's again, hot and demanding, swallowing his startled gasp. The kiss deepened instantly, Seojun's tongue sliding past his lips, coaxing, teasing, dominating. Taehyun whimpered, hands twitching at his sides before clutching Seojun's shirt, dragging him closer.

"Better," Seojun murmured against his lips, biting gently at his lower lip before moving lower. His mouth found Taehyun's jaw, then his throat, sucking hard enough to make Taehyun gasp.

"S-Seojun—"

"Say my name properly," the actor growled, lips still pressed to his skin. "Say it like you mean it."

"Seojun…" Taehyun whispered, weak, breathless.

"Good boy."

Hands slid beneath his shirt, fingers tracing hot patterns over his skin. Taehyun arched into the touch despite himself, heat curling low in his stomach. Every nerve burned where Seojun touched him, every kiss stole the strength from his knees.

The actor's lips returned to his ear, his voice dark velvet. "Do you know how hard it was to stop last night? Do you know what I wanted to do to you?"

Taehyun's entire body trembled. "W-we shouldn't—"

"Then stop me," Seojun whispered, the same taunt as before. His hand slid higher, thumb brushing across a sensitive spot that made Taehyun moan softly despite his best effort. "But you won't. Because you want this."

Taehyun squeezed his eyes shut, shame mixing with desire. He hated how right Seojun was. He hated how his body betrayed him, burning for more with every touch, every word.

Seojun kissed him again—slower this time, almost gentle, but no less intense. His other hand traced the waistband of Taehyun's pants, lingering there just long enough to make the idol's breath hitch before pulling back with a wicked smile.

"You're not ready," Seojun said finally, as if reading his thoughts. His thumb brushed Taehyun's swollen lip, his eyes dark with promise. "But one day soon, you will be. And when that day comes…" He leaned in, pressing a final kiss to Taehyun's temple. "…I won't hold back."

Taehyun collapsed against the mirror, chest heaving, lips swollen, mind spinning. He wanted to deny it, to scream that this was wrong, that he couldn't risk everything he had worked for.

But the truth was undeniable. His body ached for more. His heart was already caught.

And Seojun knew it.
