Chapter 10 - 10: The Infinity Gauntlet!

In the great hall of Asgard, as they watched the brutal scene unfold before their eyes, everyone's expressions changed.

Unexpectedly, their state of mind shifted as well.

The despair and panic they had felt earlier… strangely diminished.

More and more people fell silent, staring at the screen. Their gazes carried a sense of reverence, as though they were paying tribute to heroes.

Asgardian culture revered warriors and heroes—especially tragic heroes who fought to the bitter end.

And in the footage, Loki and Thor perfectly embodied those very traits!

After witnessing the "deaths" of the two princes, the overwhelming sense of doom that had hung over everyone's hearts was cut in half.

After all, if even the sons of the All-Father fought to the death without hesitation, then what was there left for them to fear?

At worst, death was all that awaited!

At that moment, the cold mechanical voice of the system echoed from the massive screen.

[Current video has ended.]

[Q&A begins!]

[Question: Between Loki and Thor, who survived? Who died?]

[Answer A: Loki survived, Thor died.]

[Answer B: Thor survived, Loki died.]

[Answer C: Both survived.]

[Please begin answering! Each participant in the livestream has only one chance to respond.]

[Failure to answer correctly will trigger an unknown punishment!]

When the new question and its multiple-choice answers appeared on the big screen, countless people were stunned!

The hall of Asgard, which had just quieted down, burst into noise once again.

"What's going on?"

"Could it be that Thor and Loki aren't actually dead?"

The citizens widened their eyes, whispering and exclaiming in disbelief.

Queen Frigga and Odin exchanged glances, and in each other's eyes they could see the spark of joy.

Just moments ago, they had thought both of their sons had perished.

But judging from the three answers on the screen, it meant that in the future, between Thor and Loki… at least one would survive.

Among everyone present, the most excited was Thor!

"Haha! Loki, I knew you wouldn't die that easily!"

Thor tilted his head back and laughed heartily, his voice filled with excitement.

Meanwhile, the livestream chat was abuzz.

[Tony Stark: Whoa, whoa, no way. That spaceship exploded in the middle of space. How could Thor have possibly survived that?]

[Thor: Hah! We Asgardians are a noble race of gods. Our bodies are nothing like you frail mortals.]

[Stephen Strange: So this is the power of aliens? Unbelievable.]

[Peter Parker: If that's the case, then maybe both he and Loki survived?]

Hearing this, Loki's heart skipped a beat, and a flicker of hope rose within him.

As one of the greatest sorcerers of Asgard, Loki's true specialty was illusion magic.

As long as he wished, Loki could easily conjure the perfect illusion of death, making everyone believe he was gone.

And just as Loki's heart surged with hope, thinking that perhaps in the future… he might escape death through illusion—

Tony's words suddenly hit him like a bucket of cold water poured over his head.

[Tony Stark: Kid, the fact that you even asked that question means you clearly weren't paying attention during the livestream.]

[Thor: What? What do you mean by that?]

[Tony Stark: Huh? No need to get so worked up. I'm just stating the facts.]

[Tony Stark: Right after Thanos killed "future Loki" in the footage, he said something. Do you remember what it was?]

[Loki Odinson: That…]

The moment Tony brought it up, Loki's entire body trembled, a chill seeping into his very bones.

[Peter Parker: I remember! Thanos said, "No resurrections this time."]

[Tony Stark: Exactly. And I think what that means is—Thanos was certain he had truly killed Loki.]

[Tony Stark: No matter what tricks Loki had, there was no coming back after that.]

[Thor: Damn it! How dare you curse my brother like that!]

[Stephen Strange: I understand you don't want to accept it, but given what we've seen, Tony's reasoning makes a lot of sense.]

Though Strange carried a prideful and sometimes arrogant air, he wasn't the type to ignore reality.

Up until now, Tony's performance in these Q&As had been impressive—enough to make Strange view him with newfound respect.

Loki wanted to argue, but for the first time, he found himself speechless.

A wave of helplessness and dread washed over him like a tide.

In the livestream, Tony glanced back at Loki's pale, shaken face, shook his head lightly, and then spoke loudly:

"I choose B. Thor survives, Loki dies."

Since Thanos's words already confirmed Loki's death, that eliminated two of the three options. The only one left was B.

[Ding! Tony Stark has answered. The system is verifying…]

[Ding! Tony Stark's answer is correct.]

[Tony Stark earns 100 livestream points, redeemable for requesting past or future footage related to himself.]

[Tony Stark has received a random reward… The Infinity Gauntlet!]

[Reward has been distributed.]

"Infinity Gauntlet?"

Staring at the massive glove that suddenly appeared before him, hovering in midair, Tony's pupils contracted—he immediately recognized it.

It was the very same gauntlet the "big purple grape" had been wearing in the footage.

But upon closer inspection, something felt off.

Thanos's gauntlet was on his left hand.

The one floating in front of Tony… was for the right.

"What?"

Odin's heart thumped violently as his eyes went wide in disbelief, staring at the small picture-in-picture view in the bottom right corner of the screen.

Impossible.

That Infinity Gauntlet… wasn't it the very one he had sealed away in Asgard's vault?!
