Chapter 8 - 8: Tony’s Mechanical Army!

"You??!!"

Loki pointed at Tony, his face frozen in shock, expression completely stiff.

"How could you possibly guess the correct answer?"

"Wait… this can't possibly be the correct answer!"

Overwhelmed with disbelief, Loki's words became jumbled and incoherent.

"How could I possibly take that dagger and try to assassinate Thanos?"

"Something must have gone wrong!"

The two small daggers Loki carried had been with him since childhood—they were basically toys.

When he was eight, he had once stabbed Thor, who was the same age, with one of them. The result? His tough, thick-skinned brother healed almost immediately.

Using such a dagger—which couldn't even kill an eight-year-old Thor—to take down the terrifyingly powerful Thanos? This was absurd!

Seeing Loki point and yell at Tony, Megatron's eyes glowed with a fierce light. With a single gesture, he assembled a massive cannon and aimed it at Loki.

"You insolent child, how dare you disrespect my master? I shall eliminate you now."

As Megatron spoke, the cannon in his hand suddenly blazed with brilliant light, as if a miniature sun had appeared in the livestream room.

"Oh my God."

Feeling the terrifying energy in the cannon, Loki's soul nearly fled his body, and his whole frame trembled uncontrollably.

Even though Loki's physical strength far surpassed that of ordinary humans, he could not withstand such a fearsome attack.

"Wait… don't fire the laser cannon here!"

Seeing that Megatron was ready to attack at the slightest provocation, Tony was startled and hurriedly shouted a warning.

When the mechanical giant finally obeyed and lowered the cannon, Tony exhaled in relief—but then his eyes widened as he realized something.

Just now… the robot had attacked without receiving any commands, acting to protect the dignity of its master—Tony himself.

Could this possibly mean…

"You… have intelligence!"

Looking up at Megatron, Tony's voice was full of astonishment.

"Exactly!"

Megatron's red electronic eyes flickered as he replied proudly:

"We Transformers are mechanical lifeforms from Cybertron, with independent personalities and consciousness. We are far beyond ordinary machines."

"Cybertron?"

"Transformers!!"

Peter Parker and Stephen Strange exchanged a glance, and in each other's eyes, they saw the same shock and awe.

Although Strange had just received the Gungnir, in truth, he had no idea how powerful the weapon really was.

But as a highly educated modern human, Strange understood what it meant to encounter mechanical lifeforms from another planet!

This was a completely different form of life—distinct from humans, or any carbon-based life!

"Hahaha, amazing! This reward… this reward is incredible!"

Seeing the imposing Megatron before him, Tony's face flushed with excitement. He couldn't help but step forward, reaching out to touch Megatron's steel body, his gaze filled with focus and passion.

One of Tony's life goals had always been to create mechanical lifeforms with true independent personalities.

That was why he had developed artificial intelligence—the robotic butler, J.A.R.V.I.S.

But he never could have imagined that, through answering a quiz, he would actually obtain such an incredible alien mechanical lifeform.

Moreover, as one of the top engineers on Earth, Tony could immediately tell… the robot before him was absolutely a first-class weapon of war!

Every single detail on Megatron was a perfect embodiment of mechanical engineering!

Tony was certain that by studying this mechanical lifeform, he could create inventions far beyond imagination.

At that moment, Megatron spoke in a voice filled with authority:

"Master, I am willing to serve you.

However, I hope that you can also build me a mechanical army, which I can then command!"

"A mechanical army?"

Hearing this, Tony's brow furrowed as he fell into deep thought.

After seeing the bizarre livestream on the big screen, Tony had already realized that the universe was far more complex than he had imagined.

Terrifying aliens and interstellar wars were, in fact, real!

From this perspective, building a mechanical army might actually be necessary.

At the same time, another thought flashed through Tony's mind.

Could the livestream points awarded by the system really be used to "replay" his own past and future?

Tony wasn't very interested in the past, but as a super-scientist, his curiosity about the future was insatiable!

"You… you guys…"

Watching Tony casually converse with Megatron as if the robot's presence was natural, Loki was beside himself with anger, steam practically shooting out of his ears.

But in this situation, he didn't dare say another word.

If he provoked that terrifying mechanical monster, it wouldn't be a joke.

Casting a bitter glance at the Eternity Spear in Strange's hands, Loki felt a twinge of resentment.

As a god of Asgard, he should have been the strongest in the livestream room.

Yet now, aside from the bespectacled, somewhat naive young man, he had become the weakest.

And it was all because those two had answered the system's questions correctly and received incredible rewards!

Thinking this, Loki clenched his teeth in anger, silently vowing: the next time the system asks a question, he would give the correct answer—and obtain a powerful reward!

At that moment, through the picture-in-picture on the big screen, the people of Kamar-Taj and Asgard could also see the scene in the livestream room.

Seeing Loki looking so embarrassed in front of Megatron, Odin sighed helplessly.

His adopted son still clearly lacked refinement and experience.

Just then, the previously paused screen came back to life, and the livestream began playing again.
