The sounds of wailing can be heard coming out of the Li Family Main household of houzi village.
Inside the chambers of the 4th wife of the Family head, a beautiful woman , hair black as ink ,blue gorgeous eyes, pale shimmering skin under the mana light,was lying on her back legs spread wide like the wings of an airplane ready for takaoff, around her three maid servants and a midwife assisted in her delivery.
Su qiqi's Screams tore through the dimly lit room as beads of sweat dripped down her oval face and loud screams and curses directed at everyone and no one.
Standing solemnly outside the chamber was the LI family head ,Li shuarang and three elders of the family , awaiting the birth of his 5th child.
"Waaaaa"
"Waah waahh wahh "
The sound of a baby's cry coming from the chamber tore through the tense atmosphere.
Laughter and congratulations field the passageway as the three elders congratulated the Family head.
Though if you look closely enough , you will notice the tension on the faces of two out of the three elders, like they are worried about something.
"congratulations family head" chorussed the three elders
Li shuarang beemed with joy and thanked the elders , not reacting to the subtle changes on the faces of two of his family elder's , either cause he failed to notice or he chose to ignore , no one knows and so they awaited the call of the midwife for when the new mother and child are ready to be presented.
Inside the chamber
"Congratulations my lady , it's a healthy baby boy" said the midwife as she placed the baby in the trembling hands of his mother.
"Congratulations maam " chorussed the maid servants.
Su quqi was exhausted beyond measure but as she laid her eyes of the crying bundle of joy in her hands , all exhaustion faded and happiness surged within her as she planted kisses on the babies face.
Suddenly , the baby stopped crying , an abrupt act that startled all those present but the midwife concluded after slapping the baby's behind a couple of times and getting reactions that the baby was fine and healthy and proceeded to clean up the baby with prepared warm water and herbs while the mother changed.
Ethan Crow , an office worker from New York , was confused at his current situation , a strange language was being spoken around him.
Kisses on his eyes and forehead , he was being lifted about and swaddled like he weighed nothing and he felt someone was repeatedly hitting his behind though he couldn't see who and didn't know why.
Ethan lived a prudent life, a secure job with savings and never taking unnecessary risks.
And then the recession hit, he was let go from his job, was lost for a time but luckily he had some savings, courtesy of being prudent.
He planned to survive on said savings for sometime , hopefully he gets another job before it runs out .
Then came his bosom buddy, Josh..
Josh is like that one friend we all know who always has money , lives flashy, so you assume he must be doing something right, even if you don't know what that is.
Ethan's last life's memory was receiving a call from Josh sympathetic to his current predicament and hinted at a stock that promises to triple in value in the coming week .
Ethan was hesitant , considering his way of life but living that way hasn't really gotten him anywhere as of late and he was closing on his mid 30's .
So desperate and a little bit naive , he invested what remained of his savings, thinking whats the worse that could happen ? the stock falls a bit instead of going up and he looses a little percentage of his investment, nothing life threatening.
'ooh , was I wrong , so sooo wrong , the company went bankrupt the following week , and I remembered hearing the news and immediately feeling a tightness in my chest , i tried to scream for help , but nothing came out of my mouth '

'where even am I , I can't seem to open my eyes ,they feel heavy, my limbs feel weak and the language is nothing I have ever heard before, and I feel myself being moved about .. '
