Chapter 1 - "THE HEARTWRENCHING ENCOUNTER"

It was a beautiful afternoon. The sun was High up in the sky, it's light casting shadows of the little kids playing around and their families gossiping, as one would, and as the pityful one, who came alone, roamed around buying accesories.

The vendors shouted their prices, and the shopkeepers sang there attractive songs to catch the attention of the people. The smell of spicies and sweets filled the air. And ofcourse the cries of the children denied toys.

Everyone seemed, rather happy.

This all was the scene of a fair.

A fair held in the hot months of July, the people of colonial India rarely got chances to celebrate and roam freely. Why would one even let the stupid thought of missing this opportunity slip on.

But unfortunately, it did in someone's mind.

Kaya, was an adorable girl.

She was rather simple in her beauty.

Clear skin, was not blessed upon her, like any other girl, she too had a few spots on her face.

She was not very tall, avarage to say.

She had doe eyes, with those honey brown colour to add to her beauty she had long hair cascading down her back.

An exciting smile hung on her face.

Ofcourse she was excited.

Though her sister was the stupid someone who decided to skip the opportunity to visit the fair just! so she could stay at her house and sew some new gowns.

Kaya genuinely pitied her from all her heart.

"What a plain human!"

Kaya whispered to herself commenting on her sister as she wandered through the crowded roads.

At the same fair, there was an important meeting held.

The revolutionaries of India had come to the conclusion that this fair could come out to be an opportunity to sow the seed of independence into the minds of the people.

And no one, except the revolutionaries themselves, were aware of this fact.

Kaya, and others innocently roamed around looking and admiring the beautiful fair.

And suddenly.

"BOOM"

A gun shot? A bomb?

Everyone started running around.

In a blink of an eyes, there were men wearing red uniforms and carring rifels intruding into the fair and shooting anyone who passed their way.

The revolutionaries too, shot back killing the men and panicking as many of them got shot.

Kaya panicked, she ran wherever she could trying her best to escape this chaotic and nightmare of a situation.

It was then, when suddenly a dead body of a man fell upon her feet.

She froze.

Her ear went numb.

Her feet wouldn't move.

But she still gathered all the courage and ran.

Ran where she could.

She ran, like a girl.

And that is when she bumped into "HIM"

Before she could realise two strong hands grabbed her waist.

It was a man.

He was very tall, imposing.

He had Blond hair, which had a little blood on them.

His blue eyes which could have been the bluest Kaya had ever come before.

He was really mascular and strong.

Handsome indeed.

But Kaya couldn't care less.

Kaya's tears were nothing less then a river, she couldn't understand the fact what was happening.

Everything was too quick for her.

"My my, did not expect to come before such a sight"

The Man said.

His lips curling into a smug smile.

"A-aap kon ho? (Who are you?)"

She whispered to him, more to herself to say.

It was an ironic situation.

He did not understand Her language.

And she did not understand His.

He smirked, and within a moment he lifted her and nearly threw her onto the back of a horse.

And then he himself mounted.

Kaya instinctively wrapped her hands around his waist.

"M-mujhe jane dijiye! ( Let me go!)"

She protested.

"I don't understand a thing you say, but for some reason it makes me wanna tease you more"

He said confidently as he whipped his horse.

Not after some while, Kaya found herself standing infront of an English mansion.

It was white washed, with marble and huge pillers which supported the roof.

It was a sight to see.

He got off, then aggressively lifted her too.

A few men stood nearby, wearing the same uniform as his, they came near him and bowed. Though his uniform had innumerable badges.

"Take it away"

He said giving the lace of the horse to one of them.

Within a few moments a women, around 50 years old, came out of the mansion.

She was Indian.

He gently took kaya's hand and placed it into the women's.

"Get her dresses beautifully. I'll return at night"

And he walked away smirking before passing kaya one last glance.

"Amma, ye kahan hai? ( Aunty, what is this place?)"

Kaya asked as she trembled slightly with fear.

The women was quite for a while then she took her hand, dragging her inside.

Kaya was taken to a room. A beautiful room. It was huge, and maybe the most luxurious one Kaya had even seen, it appeared to have emerged out of some fairytale she was narrated as a kid.

The women made her sit, and one by one dressed her up.

First her clothes, then her hair and her earings.

"Wo aadmi, bohot Khatarnak hai. Uska naam hai Dimitri Hefton. Bohot bada sahab hai per insaan accha nahi hai...bitiya, mai tumhari liye kuch nahi karsakte..

(that man, is extremely dangerous. His name is Dimitri Hefton. Though, he is a very high ranked official, he is not a good human at all. My child, there is nothing i can do for you for now..)"

The old women said, her eyes teary and words sore.

"Bas...aapna dhyan rakhna. ( Just..take care of yourself.)"

She said, and then left.

Kaya...sat there helpless, scared.

She looked at herself.

She looked beautiful.

But that beauty, was horrifying.

She sat by the window, admiring the sunset.

It seemed as if, the sun mocked her of her miseries.

Taunting her of the pain and defeat she was facing.

The beautiful scenery, was a complete contract to the painful turmoil inside her.

That's when.

"Crack"

She heard the wood of the door as it opened.

She didn't turn around.

She didn't have to, it was obvious who can it be.

There was just one person with so much aura and dominance.

Who could it be besides...

Dimitri Hefton.

"You seem to quite enjoy the sunset. Oh, I forgot. No matter what is speak, nothing would be understood by you anyways"

He said as he came near her.

Finally Kaya turned.

Her vulnerable and helpless eyes met Dimitri's.

He smirked, and pulled her into his arms.

She stumbled, barely able to stand

His hands wrapped around her waist.

"Hmmm, you smell so sweet. Innocence always is the most delicious"

He said sniffing her neck.

Kaya tried to push him away but he did not budge a bit.

"Don't...you know it's of no use. Beauty"

He said, gently kissing her neck.

His hot breath, touched kaya's skin with an unbearable warmth.

His hands roamed about her body, tightening ever so slightly.

Kaya still tied to push him, using all her strength. But it would be a miracle if he moved even an inch.

"Ahhh...you are somehow very.. intoxication."

He said, his voice horace and rough.

His lips trailed kisses down her neck and reached her cleavage.

He stopped for a moment, then went rough. And kissed more aggressively.

"I might get addicted to this.."
