Chapter 4: "Arrival at Noble University"

As they approached the entrance of Noble University, Nell's mom stopped the car in front of a sleek, modern machine. "Okay, sweetie, let's enter the destination," she said, tapping on the screen. The machine beeped, and a robotic voice announced, "Girls' Hostel, please follow the directions."

Nell's mom drove the car forward, and they entered the university grounds. The floor was covered with artificial grass, which felt soft and spongy beneath the car's tires. Both Nell and her mom were amazed by the beautiful scenery around them.

As they drove along the winding road, Nell caught glimpses of the university's stunning architecture. The buildings were a mix of modern and traditional designs, with sleek glass facades and intricate stone carvings. They passed by a long, open area with neatly manicured lawns and tall trees that provided shade from the sun.

An electronic signboard caught Nell's attention, with an arrow pointing towards the girls' hostel. "Girls' Hostel, 500 meters ahead," the signboard announced.

"How did you know exactly where to go, Mom?" Nell asked, curiosity getting the better of her.

"I researched the university's layout online and studied the map," Mrs. Lavender replied with a smile. "I also asked some of the other parents for tips, so I'm glad I could navigate it easily."

"We're here," Mrs. Lavender beamed, as the car stopped in front of a towering building with bold, golden letters that spelled out "Noble University Girls' Hostel."

Nell and her mom got out of the car, and Mrs. Lavender opened the trunk. Nell lifted out her bags and placed them beside her on the artificial grass. She turned to take in the breathtaking view before her.

Nell suspected that it might be a co-ed hostel, despite the sign saying "Girls' Hostel." The area was bustling with students and parents, all busy unloading luggage and saying their goodbyes.

As they entered the hostel, Nell's mind began to wander. She thought about how she would fit in, despite her good academic record. What if she wasn't smart enough? What if she didn't make any friends? She promised herself that she would do her best to prove herself, to make her family proud…

"Nell, let's get your things settled," Mrs. Lavender said.
