Chapter 3 - Chapter 3 Dudley Trunthorst

After a moment of hesitation, Dudley grabbed terrence thorsten's brass book and turned to run directly towards the bedroom upstairs.

"Oh, my dear Dada, what's wrong with you?"

Petunia exclaimed, completely bewildered by what had happened.

Vernon, on the other hand, glared at Harry, believing Harry had messed everything up.

Harry was very innocent; in fact, he hadn't done anything.

However, he was already accustomed to such situations; anything that went wrong was always his fault.

After Dudley returned to his bedroom, his breathing was still a bit ragged.

He carefully placed the bronze book pages in his hand on the table.

"terrence thorsten's brass book, this name and concept, it's like they suddenly popped into my head, why is that…"

After Dudley transmigrated back, he hadn't properly recalled anything about that mysterious world, but now that he thought about it, he found that there were many things he seemed to have forgotten.

Or, more accurately, his memory was a blur; if he concentrated, he could recall some things, but these were mostly trivial matters.

However, he couldn't remember anything truly central to that strange world.

Even the memory of terrence thorsten's brass book only appeared in his mind abruptly after he saw the book.

"Part of my memory has been sealed because of some eerie things; merely understanding them can cause contamination, and simply thinking about them can bring disaster…"

Soon, Dudley deduced his current situation from all of this.

Memories are not always harmless; anything can happen in that strange world.

"My name in that world was Dali · Terrence Thirst, which means I should have some connection to this book."

Dudley murmured to himself, trying to recall some details about that world, but he quickly gave up because he couldn't remember any memories truly involving the supernatural.

Dudley's gaze fell on terrence thorsten's brass book.

His memory seemed to have some unique trigger mechanism; he could only recall things once they involved that level of existence.

For example, if terrence thorsten's brass book hadn't appeared here, Dudley would never have remembered this Grade 0 sealed artifact.

"So the problem now is… how to deal with it?"

Facing this Grade 0 sealed artifact, Dudley was at a loss; he didn't know what to do.

Currently, he had no extraordinary abilities, making it impossible for him to seal this Grade 0 sealed artifact.

And from the information extracted from his memories, this Grade 0 sealed artifact had living characteristics; once it awakened, it would be a huge disaster for the entire world.

After a moment of contemplation, Dudley slowly walked over.

At least when he touched terrence thorsten's brass book just now, nothing happened, which indicated that this sealed artifact was likely in a very low state of activation and should be temporarily safe.

His hand fell on the bronze book, feeling the cold metallic touch, and he could feel the strange patterns engraved on the book; there seemed to be an indescribable power brewing within the bronze book.

After a long time, Dudley opened the bronze book, and his gaze fell upon it.

He saw a page of mercury-colored text, but the words were blurred and impossible to read clearly. Dudley's face changed, and he didn't force himself to read them, instead continuing to flip through until he found a blank page.

"terrence thorsten's brass book, also known as the Book of Rules, possesses living characteristics but mostly remains at a very low level. Its first half presents almost all major underlying rules, while the latter half is blank and needs to be written by oneself. It dislikes Distortion and unaesthetic rules and hates having loopholes sought out."

Dudley murmured softly, and as he flipped through, his understanding of terrence thorsten's brass book deepened.

Dudley took a deep breath and slowly sat on the edge of the bed.

"From the current situation, it seems that terrence thorsten's brass book is in an extremely low state of activation because it is not in its original mysterious world, so there shouldn't be any major problems for now, but it's uncertain if something will happen later."

Thinking of this, Dudley sighed.

Without extraordinary abilities, it was almost impossible for him to influence terrence thorsten's brass book, let alone restrict or seal it.

"I hope it stays in an extremely low state of activation."

Dudley thought to himself.

"My dear baby, are you alright?"

Outside the door, Petunia's voice came.

"I'm fine, Mom, I just haven't fully woken up yet, you don't need to worry about me," Dudley said immediately.

At this moment, his mind was complex, and he didn't want to be disturbed, so his tone of voice unconsciously carried a hint of authority and command.

"Oh, oh, okay, okay, we won't disturb you."

Petunia quickly said, not daring to stay for another second, and hurried downstairs.

Dudley fell into deep thought.

"My extraordinary abilities have failed, but why did terrence thorsten's brass book appear in this world? Is all of this fake…"

Dudley couldn't help but begin to suspect whether the world he was currently in was still the same world he was in before transmigrating, or if it might have been constructed by some evil god.

He wondered if the previous prohibition spell had no effect for some other reason.

As he was pondering, Dudley suddenly felt a strange whisper in his ear, his mind became chaotic, as if he was about to lose control and go mad, and his whole body began to twist.

"This… what's going on…?"

Dudley was all too familiar with this feeling; it was the feeling of being on the verge of losing control when the Potion within an extraordinary did not digest. He had experienced it several times in that strange world, and each time was unforgettable.

It was then that Dudley felt a dizzy spell, his body seemed to be falling, and everything in the bedroom gradually receded as he plunged into a black, strange space.

Here, he saw two gelatinous objects emitting strange light, roughly the size of a child's fist: one was an intertwining of iron-gray and dark red, and the other was purely black.

"extraordinary characteristics!"

Seeing these two things, Dudley's breathing suddenly quickened.

What else could these two things in front of him be but extraordinary characteristics? He could even recognize that the pure black Extraordinary Characteristic was the Black Emperor Pathway Sequence 9 Lawyer's Extraordinary Characteristic. The other characteristic, an intertwining of iron-gray and dark red, was the Judge Pathway Sequence 9 Arbitrator's characteristic.

"This is inside my body; these two extraordinary characteristics have already begun to erode my body."

Dudley almost immediately realized what was happening.

His gaze looked into the depths of the darkness; there was nothing there, yet there seemed to be something emitting a faint light, making him vaguely see what looked like a pure darkness.
