Chapter 25 – The Great God of Consciousness is Angry
"My Ximi…"
Space rippled slightly as Fann (梵恩) stepped out, rushing anxiously toward the Earth Goddess Ximi.
"Is it you, my love?"
The moment she saw Fann, the battle form of the Earth Goddess Ximi faded. She collapsed softly into the arms of her beloved.
In front of others, she was the indomitable Earth Sovereign, fearless even against all the gods.
But before Fann, she was only a tender, delicate wife.
The Great Tree Queen Manlina saw this scene, her eyes filled with envy. She longed for the day when she too might call the exalted Lord Fann her beloved.
But from the corner of her eye, she noticed a wound on Ximi's leg.
A black scar, nearly three feet long, marred her fair left leg, running from her ankle up past her knee.
"Damn that evil god Dayus! To dare wound the Great Sovereign—he must pay the price!" Manlina cried angrily.
Who was the Earth Goddess Ximi to her?In her eyes, Ximi was like a mother, her most revered kin.
"Manlina, come back."
Fann stopped her.
He too had seen the scar on Ximi's leg—left by the corrosive black floodwaters.
Not even her mighty divine power could heal it.
"Ah…"
Only then did Ximi herself notice the scar. Her face paled with panic and shame.
"My body is no longer whole… I'm sorry, my exalted Lord Fann. I failed to protect myself…"
She felt no pain—only fear.
Her body belonged to her exalted Fann, and now it bore a flaw.
It was her fault.
She feared he would abandon her.
Shame and inferiority welled up in her heart.
"No, my beloved Ximi. It was I who came too late and let you be harmed. I will make the wicked Dayus pay the price."
"Manlina—guard my beautiful Lady Ximi."
Fann spoke with a gentle smile to the Earth Goddess before rising slowly.
But as he turned, the gentleness in his eyes vanished, replaced with fury and killing intent.
He was not like other gods.
The Earth Goddess Ximi was his woman, not an object.
And so now, Fann's wrath boiled. His killing intent was aimed squarely at the Sky God Dayus.
The Supreme Fire-Linga Mark allowed him to temporarily match the might of a Primeval Element Lord.
Shiva's Trident contained the deadliest destructive power of the Three Realms.
What's more, the strike just now from Manlina, with all her strength, had already injured Dayus.
At this moment, Fann truly had the chance to end him.
Though the Fire-Linga Mark would fade afterward, Fann did not care.
"It's him—the God of Consciousness, Fann!"
"How can a High God like him wield the Trident and wound His Majesty the God-King?"
"No—it was Manlina who threw it. She's a High Lord God. Ah! Great Creator God Brahma! His Majesty the God-King has been nailed upon the Heavenly Gate!"
"Look! What is that High God going to do?"
The gods were stunned. None paid attention to the black flood surging toward the mortal realm.
The Trident pierced Dayus's chest, pinning him firmly to the Heavenly Gate.
No matter how he struggled, he could not escape its grip.
Deprived of his divine power, he could only fight with his body.
"You are but a High God, while I am the exalted King of the Gods! Bow before me, you lowly God of Consciousness!"
The Sky God Dayus roared in humiliation.
He—the mighty King of the Gods—was pinned to the Heavenly Gate, his pride dealt an irreparable wound.
"Lowly?"
Fann sneered coldly."Then let the one you deem lowly… end the life of the lofty God-King!"
He grasped the Trident and slowly twisted it.
Dayus screamed in agony.
"What are you doing?! I am a Primeval Element Lord, the exalted God-King!"
"My consciousness… ah—it's you!"
As the pain tore at his body, Dayus's very mind began to unravel. Fear struck him.
"You harmed my woman—you will pay with your life. And you are unworthy to return to the embrace of the Great Brahman.
You will be spurned by the Supreme Spiritual Force."
Fann's killing intent condensed. His vast divine power of Consciousness surged, flowing through the Trident to grind away at Dayus's very mind.
But Fann knew—this alone could not kill him.
Only with the Fire-Linga Mark could his Consciousness Authority ascend, even briefly, to the full Authority of Consciousness, allowing him to command the supreme solar power of the Three Realms.
"Stop at once!"
"You must not harm His Majesty the God-King!"
"You're only a High God—will you make the entire Heavenly Court your enemy?"
"Take the Earth Sovereign away, and we will act as if nothing happened!"
The gods panicked, rushing to intervene. None wanted Dayus to die.
Without him, how would they face the Earth lineage of deities?Would they have to bow their heads to those they once oppressed?
Never!
"Who dares harm the exalted Lord of Consciousness!"
Despite her wounds, the Earth Goddess Ximi stood again in her battle form. Black hammer and golden axe in hand, her presence made the gods shiver.
Fann's vow—"You harmed my woman, you will pay with your life"—stirred her heart, filling her with fierce devotion. She was ready to die for him.
Manlina too revealed her battle form, a goddess in flowing silks, sword in hand, branches flaring behind her with eerie green light.
Fann prepared to unleash the Fire-Linga's power, his eyes full of disdain.
If the gods dared block him, he would slaughter them.
But at that moment—
A supreme aura swept through the entire city of Sudarshana. Space itself tore open, and endless Chaos surged forth.
The Primeval Dragon King Shesha appeared.
And upon his back was the great Preserver God—Vishnu.
The gods immediately bowed in reverence, chanting praises.
"Praise the Great Preserver God Vishnu!"
"You would stop me?"
Fann's words to Vishnu silenced the entire city.
