Chapter 31: Conspiracy, Cosmic Law 2

"Light Heaven Realm?"

The Sky God Dayus pondered briefly, a trace of guilt flashing in his eyes. He slowly said, "Very well, I must ensure that Mother of Light, Mahalakshmi, is invited back. I was the one who angered her enough to make her leave."

"Your brother will definitely bring back the Mother of Light, respected God King," the Star Lord Sakhaman said, hands clasped in devotion.

"Are there any other orders, esteemed God King?"

"Go to Brahma's Realm and consult the Great Creator God Brahma about what guidance or will he wishes to convey to the gods of Heaven."

"Specifically, inquire about how to deal with the God of Consciousness."

Whenever Dayus mentioned Fan'en, the words were spat out with teeth clenched. His hatred for Fan'en ran to the extreme.

"Understood, Your Excellency," Star Lord Sakhaman replied respectfully and then departed from the Heavenly Gate.

Alone, the Sky God Dayus' thoughts wandered, especially when he thought of the Mother of Light, Mahalakshmi. His face twisted between fury and guilt.

"Vile woman! I merely said a few words to you, and you actually returned to Light Heaven. You've completely ruined female virtue and shamed me as God King!"

Light Heaven Realm

This world hung atop Mount Sumi-lu like a suspended sun, illuminating everything on the mountain.

"Dayus has lost the support of the Great Creator God Brahma. Great as you are, do you not wish to continue as the Mother of Heaven?"

"Once the Primal Calamity ends, you can still serve as Mother of Heaven, if you wish."

The Sun God Sakhnas smiled.

The black floodwaters from the Human Realm had backflowed into Brahma's Realm, preventing Brahma, in meditation, from using the Life Vessel to contain them.

Only the eloquent goddess Saroshivadi could manage the task, but the collection speed lagged behind the flood's incoming speed.

Thus, Brahma's Realm fell into chaos. Brahma was furious, blaming the Sky God Dayus and the God of Consciousness Fan'en.

Originally, he could have gone to the Human Realm to collect the black floodwaters and earned immense merit. But Fan'en ruined this opportunity.

The Great Creator God Brahma knew he could not confront Fan'en directly, so he first targeted Dayus. He supported Sun God Sakhnas, promising him a future as the great God King of Heaven after the Primal Calamity.

"I am the Sun, you are the Light. Together, we are destined for a Yogic union, respected Mother of Light," Sakhnas said seductively.

"Get out of Light Heaven!"

The Mother of Light, Mahalakshmi, shouted.

"I am the wife of the God King. Even if I wished to take revenge on the God King, you are not qualified."

Terrifying light divine power resonated with Light Heaven's frequency, driving Sakhnas out of the realm.

"Ugly man, evil man, selfish man! None of you are worthy of union with me!"

Her voice echoed through Light Heaven, and Sakhnas smirked, having achieved part of his goal. His true intention was to provoke Mahalakshmi into hating Dayus more.

Meanwhile, in the Milk Ocean, Primal Dragon King Shesha drifted aimlessly, carrying the Preserver God Vishnu.

Suddenly, Vishnu lightly tapped the serpent bed, stopping Shesha.

"Praise the Pervading Heaven."

Shesha respectfully responded.

"Three thousand more years until you retrieve the Mystic Conch," Vishnu said, signaling that Shesha had awakened a bit early—Shesha was Vishnu's cosmic alarm, set for ten thousand years.

"God of Consciousness, Fan'en!"

Vishnu did not pay attention to Shesha, instead looking toward Mount Mandala in the Human Realm.

"Unbelievable… he has meditated to attain the Reincarnation Power, which should only be obtainable by an Asura," Vishnu frowned.

This violated the will of the Supreme Spiritual Law and the cosmic order beneath it, forcing Vishnu to act. But sensing Fan'en's aura of the Great Brahma, Vishnu hesitated—he did not fully understand the connection between Fan'en and the Supreme Spiritual Law.

Guided by the principle of "better to do nothing than to act wrongly," Vishnu withdrew his gaze from Mount Mandala.

"How can an Asura possess such supreme power?" Primal Dragon King Shesha asked in surprise. Though friendly with the Naga, he was still the mighty Primal Dragon King and looked down upon the Asura.

"Of course not. Therefore, after he meditates to attain the Reincarnation Power, I will step in to protect him, ensuring he becomes human in the second Manu cycle," Vishnu said calmly, though his words carried a hint of disdain for the Asura.

"God of Consciousness Fan'en has meditated to gain the Reincarnation Power. Why do you not intervene immediately?" Shesha asked, puzzled.

"Mind your place," Vishnu said, smashing one of Shesha's heads, causing Shesha to cry out in pain.

"It seems the time to revise the Cosmic Law of the Universe must come earlier, otherwise we can never understand the connection between the God of Consciousness and the Supreme Spiritual Law," Vishnu sighed.

"And we cannot stop him from manipulating the cosmic numbers beneath the Supreme Spiritual Law."

The Primal Dragon King Shesha pleaded, "No! Great Vishnu, I do not wish my divine power to be weakened!"

Vishnu ignored him, muttering to himself:

"The revision of the Cosmic Law must come from me. Brahma only knows how to reproduce and meddle. Shiva, that naive ruler, dances in the heavens daily and accomplishes nothing. Only I truly care for all living beings in the Three Realms."

Vishnu's face radiated righteousness and authority.

"I will sleep for another three thousand years. Remember to wake me, dear little serpent."
