Chapter 19 – The God-Abandoned Land, Earth in the Great Brahma Primordial Era (Part 3):
"What could have angered the beautiful Sovereign Ximi?"
Rays of crimson light streaked across the void, auspicious energies sparkled in myriad threads. The Goddess of Eloquence, Sarosvati, clad in a magnificent sari, stepped out of the void barefoot.
With each step, a lotus bloomed beneath her feet.
A goddess embodying holiness, beauty, wisdom, and courage, she possessed power comparable to a high main god.
In later ages, she would also hold the power of bestowing blessings.
"Sarosvati?"
The expression of Earth Goddess Ximi softened slightly. The goddess before her was the daughter—and also the wife—of the great Creator God Brahma.
At Fane's repeated instructions, Ximi had been told not to make enmity with Brahma, lest she face disaster in the future Primordial Calamity.
Ximi was not afraid of Brahma, but she had yet to bear children for Exalted Fane, so she could not yet return to Brahma's embrace.
"Greetings, Sarosvati, the Goddess of Eloquence, beauty, and wisdom."
Ximi spoke calmly: "You do not serve the great Brahma in his realm, yet you come to Shanjian City. Is it to oppose me?"
She gave Sarosvati face—but only slightly. Since her birth, aside from bowing before Exalted Fane, Ximi had never lowered herself to anyone.
"You misunderstand, mighty Sovereign Ximi."
Sarosvati's eyes gleamed with intelligence as she smiled. "Sky God Daius is being guided by my great husband in Brahma's realm, meditating. Therefore… I humbly ask Sovereign Ximi to restrain your anger and forgive the gods of the Heavenly Court. As a token of gratitude, I bring fruits and fine wines from Brahma's realm."
She extended her hand, revealing her white jade arm, and waved through the void. A table laden with fruits and fine wines appeared.
"Please, mighty Sovereign Ximi, grace us with your presence," she gestured politely.
Ximi glanced over the gods, who were instantly terrified and stepped back, avoiding her gaze.
"Very well, beautiful Sarosvati."
Seeing this, the gods of Shanjian City sighed in relief.
If Sarosvati had not arrived, any one of them could have been chosen as the 'lucky one' to return to Brahma's embrace.
At the same time, the gods began praying for Daius' swift return. Only the return of the great God King could give them a sense of safety.
The mighty Earth Goddess Ximi was simply too terrifying.
Meanwhile…
In the Mortal Realm, amid the vast starry sky, Fane and Great Mercy Tree Sovereign Manlina arrived at a blue-hued planet.
Oceans covered 95% of the planet, with two towering mountains piercing through the clouds like colossal lingams.
One was a great volcano, still smoking from a recent eruption. On its side was a large tunnel, running through the mountain.
Fane focused his divine awareness and saw, at the bottom of the tunnel, a single head—the arrogant head of Brahma.
This head alone made the planet a god-abandoned land.
The other mountain was even taller than the volcano, covered in snow year-round.
(Himalayas)
"There is divine essence here, but it's too weak."
Manlina glanced at the snowy mountain and lost interest.
Fane, however, approached the mountain peak, sensing the divine potential being nurtured there.
Indeed, it was weak.
Even if a god were born, it would be mid-level, unable to reach high main god level.
In the Great Brahma Primordial Era, such gods offered no help to the Earth Lineage.
Yet Fane knew this snow mountain deity was no ordinary being.
It would father both the Snow Mountain Goddess and the Ganges Goddess.
The Ganges Goddess, in the future, would become a great main god, but the Snow Mountain God's prestige came through his daughter Parvati, who would be Shiva's wife.
Thus, though the Snow Mountain God was only mid-level, he would sire two main gods, one of whom became the Great Celestial Mother, Shiva's wife.
"I have come to this place to be destined with you, granting your consciousness to form, solidifying your divine essence so it will not dissipate, and allowing your future birth to become a high main god."
Fane extended his hand, channeling divine power infused with consciousness authority.
By now, many beings had been born across the three thousand realms, and though Fane's consciousness authority had not yet become a full divine authority, it was very close.
Once this task was complete, Fane could call upon Earth Goddess Ximi to help open the Realm of Thought, declaring across the Three Realms:
"Below the main gods, I am invincible."
"Exalted Fane, your benevolence and compassion inspire my admiration. Please allow me to kiss your sacred hand."
Manlina spoke sincerely.
"I merely acted out of convenience; I cannot accept such praise, beautiful Manlina," Fane replied. Yet his hand reached forward honestly.
This was not a formal hand-kissing ritual, so it was acceptable.
Manlina placed her jade hand upon Fane's and lowered her head, lightly kissing the back of his hand.
"Praise be to Exalted Fane," she said joyfully.
Fane smiled slightly, pointing to the base of the snow mountain. "I wish to examine the mountain's base. Beautiful Manlina, will you join me?"
"Of course. To be with Exalted Fane is my honor," she said.
They reached the foot of the snow mountain, where the cold had frozen the sea, forming an ice layer three thousand zhang thick.
"We'll need your void power for this," Fane said.
He could break through the ice himself, but it would trigger an avalanche, destroying the divine potential nurtured there.
With Manlina's void authority, they could instantly teleport short distances without even piercing the space.
"I am happy to serve you," she said softly. "Please allow me to take your sacred hand."
Fane nodded.
Manlina's small hand grasped his, her first time touching a man's hand. A surge of masculine warmth and presenceflushed her cheeks.
Poof~!
Space shimmered slightly.
They had arrived at the mountain's base, but what they saw astonished Manlina.
There was no cold.
Instead, it was oppressively hot, as if they stood inside a volcano.
How could this be?
Fane's eyes scanned, and he saw a swastika-shaped pattern where the blue and red laws of order intersected. A smile appeared in his eyes.
As expected, it had formed here!
Excited, he said to Manlina: "Beautiful Manlina, you truly are my lucky star."
Without hesitation, Fane flew toward the ice-and-fire intertwined swastika, ignoring the barrier set by the Supreme Consciousness outside.
Why fear something that only blocks outsiders
