SHAW!
I felt my eyes snap open as I heard my daughter's voice. Though it was quite strange, I wasn't inside Deepnest anymore.
I was inside one of the rooms of the White Palace. I looked around the room and quickly took notice of the White Lady sitting close by me.
She seemed to be distracted with something. Looking more closely, she had a baby stag on her lap and was playing with it.
I tried to get her attention by speaking, but I felt weak. I couldn't let out a noise, even if I tried.
Thankfully, she seemed to notice me, and after placing down the stag—it quickly ran off—she got up and placed one of her roots on my face.
"Sleep, Herrah. You're far too weak right now," she said, draping me with a blanket.
As much as I would have loved to protest, I was far too weak. Maybe resting up wasn't a bad idea.

A few days had passed since I had first manifested in this void, and finding out that I was currently inside a type of vessel was... not really comforting.
The Pale King explained everything to me, and with my very limited knowledge of the world I'm currently in, he described this new realm as almost like the Dream Realms—or something in between.
But as we talked, I didn't pay much attention to his incessant ramblings about how the new vessel would create an entirely new species in this realm, or how I had manifested here without being a deity.
No, the only thing I care about right now is seeing my daughter. She has the blood of the Pale King, so she is most likely to form as well—but I didn't want to wait.
I spoke with the King, and he assured me that all is in due time, and that our daughter will form. So until then, he requested that I help with the creation of new insects.
The new realm—Hell, as they call it—possesses an odd energy. They wield and bind souls to their will, and with it being so similar to our own, he has asked me to watch over the new vessel until he is ready to create the new species.
Reluctantly, I agreed to his demands until my daughter finally reforms. I just hope it isn't too long.
