Chapter 35 - 35

Chapter 35: A Magical Salted Fish's Town Life (Part 2)

For a moment, Sherlock even felt like his brain was being shaken into a pulp, unable to clearly see who was shaking him, only vaguely discerning a flash of golden hair.

Fortunately, the small restaurant didn't only have the strong man and Sherlock; the strong man's companions, seeing that something was wrong, quickly rushed forward and pulled Sherlock and the strong man apart.

Sherlock finally got a clear look at the strong man's appearance. Hmm, how should I put it? Xu Jinjiang! It's you!

That's right, the one who almost shook Sherlock's brain into a pulp was none other than our famous Mr. Xu Jinjiang's half-brother, our famous Thor.

Sherlock had originally planned to stroll around the town after finishing his meal to see if he could find Thor's whereabouts, but he never expected Thor to come to him instead.

What's this? Searching high and low for something only to find it effortlessly? A fully automated, home-delivery, chuunibyou version of Thor?

Sherlock looked at Thor, who was pulled away and standing in front of him, with an extremely strange expression. After being pulled away, Thor clearly calmed down. Looking at Sherlock's expression, he showed no aversion, but instead, with an extremely outgoing demeanor, asked,

"Mortal, do you know me?"

Tony, on the phone, clearly heard the situation and asked with a slightly anxious tone,

"What's wrong, you brat? What happened?"

After taking a deep breath, Sherlock's mind raced, processing the situation at hand. First, like a scumbag, he simply brushed off Tony.

Then, enduring Tony's colorful language, he directly hung up the phone. Only then did he look up at the two women and one old man who were holding Thor.

All three wore apologetic expressions, constantly giving Sherlock glances. Although Sherlock didn't know these three, he quickly understood their meaning from their eyes.

'This guy is crazy, don't be like him!'

Sherlock gave the three a reassuring look, then turned to the still relatively agitated Thor and replied,

"I'm very sorry, sir, I don't know you. As for the hammer you want to know about, all I can tell you is that it's not far to the east of the town."

Sherlock's answer was neither humble nor arrogant, and his tone barely fluctuated. But Thor, having received the information he wanted, still appeared very happy.

Completely disregarding the expressions of Sherlock and the three people beside him, he excitedly patted Sherlock's shoulder hard.

"Very good, mortal, you have successfully gained the friendship of me, Thor. When I retrieve my hammer and regain my divine power, I can grant you one wish!"

After speaking, he turned and strode towards the restaurant's door.

The pretty girl and the man behind Thor all rolled their eyes. Sherlock could clearly see the girl, who looked very much like Max from 2 Broke Girls, had a look of 'wtf' on her face.

She looked at the few bites of food quietly eaten on the table, then looked at her companions chasing Thor out. After much thought, she grabbed a donut from the table, stuffed it into her mouth, and then rushed out.

Watching such a dramatic scene unfold, even Sherlock, who was already mentally prepared, couldn't help but twitch his mouth. For a moment, Sherlock perfectly understood why Odin would banish Thor to Earth.

He even understood why Loki would usurp the throne.

Putting everything else aside, if Thor remained in his current state of late-stage chuunibyou, and Asgard were truly passed on to Thor, then it probably wouldn't be long until Asgard's demise.

Rubbing his shoulder, which was still sore from Thor's pat, Sherlock secretly vowed to get revenge in the future. He then shook his head and turned to finish his unfinished meal.

As for Thor's solo invasion of S.H.I.E.L.D., Sherlock didn't have much of an opinion. At most, Thor's frustrated, prostrating roar was barely considered a famous scene; the rest was just some action.

He might as well go back to the hotel earlier to study Alchemy in the library, and by the way, research what kind of magic potion could most likely give him the side effects he needed.

Just as Sherlock was eating and thinking about his next plan, a hand once again quickly slapped Sherlock's unprepared back.

Caught off guard, Sherlock was almost sent flying by the blow. He coughed for a long time before finally coughing up the food that had almost choked him. Sherlock then angrily turned to look at the person who had just patted him.

Hmm, it was still that late-stage chuunibyou Thor.

Thor completely ignored Sherlock's angry gaze, still looking at Sherlock with the demeanor of a late-stage chuunibyou, showing no remorse for his previous actions.

"Mortal, there's one more thing. The great Thor needs to know where to find a horse for travel."

Before Sherlock could react, he saw Thor's girlfriend, Jane, shouting outside the small restaurant's glass window, constantly waving to the side.

Subsequently, Max from 2 Broke Girls, the spry Savig, and Jane Foster rushed back into the restaurant. The three of them, some grabbing by the throat, others lifting, haphazardly dragged Thor out of the restaurant again.

Even after dragging Thor out, Jane Foster didn't forget to return to the restaurant, apologizing to Sherlock while paying his bill.

Watching the four leave, Sherlock felt a surge of anger building up inside him.

Very good, Thor, you have successfully incurred the wrath of a magician!

Sherlock no longer had the desire to continue eating. He turned and stood up, walking towards his hotel. Damn it, Sherlock originally didn't want to get involved in Thor's quest to retrieve his hammer.

But now, because of those two slaps from Thor, Sherlock felt it was time to let Thor experience what it means for a petty person to seek revenge from dawn till dusk!

Damn it, if I don't show my power, do you think I'm Hello Kitty? If he doesn't break Thor, Sherlock will write his name backward.

Quickly gathering his belongings, Sherlock found a deserted alley at the fastest speed, and the elder wand instantly appeared in Sherlock's hand.

Too lazy to even disguise himself, Sherlock directly cast the Illusion Charm on himself. Looking at his gradually transparent body, the smile on Sherlock's face also began to become increasingly twisted.
