Mae felt hurt she remembered how she got married to Alex.
They were childhood sweethearts their parents were best friends and decided to get their children married to each other. Mae and Alex were best friends when they were young as both of them were royalty but duty set in and Alex had to leave to gain experience. Mae thought Alex would come back to her but the Alex now wasn't the one that left. He ignored her and dated other women even though he was married.
