A king who I once admired has now become me. The responsibility of the kingdom lies in my hand. I have everything, booze, castles, soldiers, women... but the women, ah yes, the women.
I never thought I'd fall for one outside my kingdom. She belonged to another king. A kind king, unlike me, whom they call a tyrant. But I wanted it all. Everything he had. Most of all, I wanted his wife. His beautiful wife.
So I marched my knights and launched my attack. His kingdom destroyed, the innocent slaughtered, livestock seized. At last, I reached the gates of his throne. And there he stood. We faced each other in an honorable duel king against king, man against man.
With the final blow, he fell. His wife wept like a waterfall, and he cried out: I did nothing wrong! I did not invade because I cared for the innocent in your kingdom! Where did it all go wrong?
I answered, I despised you for having a beautiful wife, for being so naive. And now, your woman will serve me.
I cast him into the lions den, leaving him to whatever fate the beasts decided. I did not wait to see the end. I walked away as if nothing had happened. His kingdom was now my kingdom. His wife, now mine.
I am what they call—
a tyrant.
