Aiden:
"What was that about?" I asked as the car drove.
"I don't know." They both were acting weird. Did you see the way they were looking at each other?" Abigail replied.
"Yeah, I saw. I guess we'll find out once we get back home. Now, tell me about your dream."I asked.
---
Abigail:
"I was going to, but Dad stopped me. Anyway, I'll tell you everything now."
I told him everything about the dream.
"God, Abigail! What the hell…" Aiden exclaimed. "I might have told you the same thing as Mom and Dad—that it's just a dream—but the way you explained it, it doesn't seem like it. So, what are you going to do now?"
"To be honest, I don't know. The dreams feel way too real. Maybe Mom and Dad will tell me what to do when we get home early," I admitted.
"Let's hope so… but we'll see," Aiden replied.
"Come on, we're here. I can assure you, you don't want to be late on your first day of school," I said as I got out of the car.
"Yup! Can't be late. Okay, see you later in class," Aiden said.
As I walked away from Abigail, I saw my friends. I linked arms with my best friends, Liam and Josh.
"What are you talking about?" I asked.
"Bro, you're late. You missed Alex's fight," Liam replied.
"Oh! Please… seeing Alex fight first thing in the morning is the last thing I need," I said.
"Trust me, you would have loved it," Josh said.
"Why? What happened?" I asked, intrigued.
"Alex got beaten up by James" Liam said, smirking.
"So… wait, really? Leo's gamma, right. Oh, now I wish I was there. Tell me everything," I said, grinning.
"You know the omega, Bella, right?" Liam asked.
"Yes, I do. What about her?" I replied.
"Turns out she's James's mate. He just turned sixteen. He smelled her and came to find her. And guess what he saw," Liam said.
"What?" I asked.
"He saw Bella being bullied by Alex, so he grabbed Alex and threw him across the room. Then he continued to beat him. Only when Alex fainted did Leo stop," Josh added, smiling as he continued the story for Liam.
"Wow! Alex got what he deserved. How is Bella? Was she hurt?" I asked.
"No! She wasn't hurt. Alex had just cornered her when James came. But we can't say the same about Alex" Liam replied.
"Well, that's good. If you think about it, Alex got beaten up by a high schooler and he can't tell anyone about it," I said, laughing.
"Yeah! He can't. What is he going to say—that he was bullying someone and their mate saw him and beat him up?" Josh replied.
We all laughed, not realizing we were standing in front of our classroom. We quickly went inside, sat at our desks, and just then, the bell rang. Class began.
