It's my first day of high school in new jersey. Am I psyched about it? ..Not even a little...why?! Because my mom had to remarry and make us move to a strange place far from what I'm used to .my friends from LA,my school ,my perfect GPA everything gone!!
Now I have to start all over I just pray this doesn't affect my PRINCETON application
"Anna? Are you still sleeping you have to get up or you'll be late for school !" I can hear my mom screaming from the living room
"CANT I BE HOMESCHOOLED"
I get up from my bed and walk towards the bathroom and get ready .did I mention my stepdad is loaded ...yea I live In a freaking mansion .. which is cool I guess
I get ready to leave my room,I grab my phone and head downstairs.i meet my mom already setting the table with my breakfast when My stepdad walks in kisses my mom
Good morning Anna!!. He greets
Good morning David . I reply and keep munching on my breakfast yea I'm not calling him dad ever!!!
Then he grabs a sit and my mom serves him breakfast
"Are you psyched about your new school"? He asked
"No" I reply simply why is he trying to make conversation
"It's the best in the country and I'm sure you'll love it there" he says
"Okay,.....I have to go now mom "I say as I stand up I take my things and head outside where the driver is already waiting for me
The ride to school is really calm.We finally arrived at the school Silver falls Academy .it looks beautiful and it looks really luxurious too
"Pls Mr James be on time to pick me up"I say to the driver
"Of course miss" he says and drives off
I'm not someone who gets nervous coz well j mind my business I'm never the center of attention I walk into the school with the schools map and head towards the principal's office
On reaching there, she happens to be in a heated argument with someone on the phone
Acknowledging my presence she hangs up
"WELCOME DEAR..... you must be Annabelle Wallis..the girl who scored 99% on her entrance exam .she says smiling very brightly as if she wasn't yelling at someone 2 minutes ago
"Yes I am ... please I wanted to know my class I'm already late .I said I hate being late for lectures
"Yes yes..I'll take you"she said as she walked me out of her office .
A few minutes later,we arrive at a good looking classroom well I most say this school is really well equiped even more than my old school
The teacher is about to start when I walk in with the principal to the middle of the classroom full of people
"Sorry Mr Rogers please gimme a moment" said the principal
"HELLO CLASS,I want to introduce to you all a new member of this institution ANNABELLE WALLIS ...You may take it from here MR ROGERS" she introduced me and left
"Please tell us a little something about yourself Anna" he says
"Hi I'm Annabelle Wallis,I am a new student" I say nonchalantly I really I'm not in the mood for this
One thing about me is that I observe everyone I noticed a group of girls glaring at me while a girl raised her hands to call my attention
"Please take your sit Annabelle "he says finally "thank God" I make my way to the empty sit beside the girl looking so cheery at me and the lectures commence.
