Kazuo wakes up in his apartment after a wild night.
Except, instead of alcohol, the hangover is from accidentally creating three new galaxies in his sleep.
He has no memory of it. He thinks it's a dream, but telescopes worldwide go crazy.
Punchline: He blames it on bad ramen.
Chapter 0.2 – Rent Day is Hell
Landlord complains about "strange lights" and "cosmic earthquakes" coming from Kazuo's unit.
Kazuo mistakes him for a demon and tries to bless him, accidentally making him incredibly lucky at pachinko.
Landlord never complains again but keeps showing up with pachinko winnings as rent.
Chapter 0.3 – The Coworker Who Wouldn't Shut Up
At his dead-end office job, Kazuo's coworker drones endlessly about fantasy football.
Kazuo wishes he'd shut up → coworker's voice literally vanishes.
Office thinks it's a miracle. HR is confused.
Kazuo: "Finally, some peace."
Chapter 0.4 – The First Prayer Email
His phone buzzes with what looks like spam mail.
It's actually a prayer from some kid asking for their goldfish not to die.
Kazuo hits "delete."
Somewhere, an entire lake ecosystem collapses, but he just thinks Gmail's broken again.
Chapter 0.5 – Seraphina's Arrival (Prologue)
First introduction of Seraphina, descending into his apartment like a furious cosmic auditor.
She's horrified to find him watching anime reruns in stained pajamas.
Kazuo has no idea who she is, assumes she's some new landlord assistant.
Ends with her screaming: "YOU'RE GOD!"
Kazuo: "Cool story. Want instant noodles?"
