Dragon Ball world, Universe Six — Realm of the Gods of Destruction.
God of Destruction Champa and his attendant angel Vados were watching an image projection unfold before them.
A young man with sharp, striking features stood at the center of the scene.
"This corrupt planet… destroy it."
The youth's calm voice faded, and in the next instant, a blazing energy sphere shot from his fingertip. When it struck, the planet shattered in a violent explosion, reduced to dust within the void of the cosmos.
With a flash, the boy vanished from sight, not sparing the destruction a backward glance.
"That damn brat… to act without my leave!"
Champa's round face twisted with fury, his fists tightening until his claws bit into his palms.
He was the God of Destruction of Universe Six — the authority over life and death of all planets within his domain. And yet, this boy had destroyed over a dozen planets in just a few years.
To ignore Champa's will was nothing less than blatant defiance of a God.
"Oh, Lord Champa, don't be too angry. The planets Qin Yu destroyed were dens of vicious space pirates and warmongers."
Vados' lips curled into a small smile as she lightly tapped her staff.
She had been monitoring Qin Yu for years. His methods were harsh — entire planets leveled in moments — but he had never killed innocents. Every life he took belonged to raiders, tyrants, and criminals who plagued the stars.
"Cut the excuses! A God of Destruction doesn't need to care whether those people were good or bad. What matters is that he acted so boldly in my universe — as if I don't exist!"
Champa's voice was cold, his anger burning hotter. "Vados, where is Qin Yu now?"
"He is a Saiyan of Universe Six, my lord. At present, he resides on Planet Sadala, the homeworld of the Saiyan race."
"Planet Sadala?" Champa sneered, his yellow eyes flashing. "Good. Take me there. I'll show this arrogant brat what it means to defy a God."
---
At that same moment, on Planet Sadala, within a gorge framed by emerald cliffs—
"Ten years… and I've finally achieved the Full-Power Super Saiyan form."
Qin Yu exhaled slowly, his golden aura fading as his hair returned to black. A smile tugged at his lips.
"If nothing else, I should be able to wipe the floor with Son Goku and Vegeta in their Super Saiyan Blue states."
Qin Yu was not an ordinary Saiyan. He was a traveler from another world who had arrived in this universe ten years earlier. Upon arriving, he awakened a god-tier selection system — and with it, chose the legendary Super Saiyan bloodline of Broly, along with a special fusion enhancement.
Even with such a bloodline, cultivation had not been easy. Unlike the Broly seen in Dragon Ball Super: Broly, who rampaged into his Full-Power form within hours, Qin Yu learned the hard way that mastering this transformation in reality required relentless effort.
Ten years of grueling battles and training had finally borne fruit. Though he had no worthy rival to push him further, he had still ascended to the peak of Saiyan power — enough to stand among the strongest warriors in the universe.
"Master Qin Yu! You're training here again, as expected!"
A slim figure descended from the skies — a young Saiyan with spiky hair and a kind smile.
"Oh, it's Cabba, back from your mission?" Qin Yu greeted with a nod.
Cabba — a member of Universe Six's Saiyan Defense Force and a fighter introduced during the Tournament of Destroyers — had become one of Qin Yu's closest companions.
"Yes! I just returned. Master Qin Yu, your aura feels even more overwhelming than before. I really admire how quickly you keep improving!"
Cabba landed before him, speaking with genuine respect.
"You're not bad yourself. That mission must have helped you — it looks like you've broken through to Super Saiyan 2 already."
Qin Yu's eyes gleamed with approval. Cabba's growth was remarkable; with only a little guidance, the boy had pushed beyond his limits in less than a decade.
"Ha! That's thanks to your teaching, Master Qin Yu."
Cabba chuckled sheepishly. Their bond had long since grown beyond mere master and student — they were comrades, and even friends.
"You little flatterer." Qin Yu rolled his eyes.
But just as the words left his mouth, a sharp jolt coursed through his mind — like an arc of electricity warning of danger.
Cabba immediately noticed his master's change in expression. "What's wrong, Master Qin Yu?"
For Qin Yu to look shaken meant this was no trivial matter.
"It's nothing… just a sudden, very bad premonition."
"A sense of crisis?" Cabba asked, startled.
Qin Yu shook his head. He felt no distinct ki signatures, no powerful aura drawing near. Yet the feeling gnawed at him — rare and ominous.
After all, even Universe Six's greatest assassin, Hit, had already fallen to Qin Yu in battle. Few in existence could unsettle him now.
"Huh? But I don't sense any strong energy at all," Cabba said with wide eyes.
"…Neither do I. Maybe it's just an illusion," Qin Yu murmured.
