A blinding white light comes from a door.
A man stepped out of it. His hair was pale as snow, his body covered in scars, and most of his clothes were torn to shreds. His eyes were two different colors—one a bloody red, the other a pure purple.
He collapsed to the ground, his face in the dirt. With effort, he managed to raise his head, but his body refused to move no matter how much he tried. Only one arm obeyed him. Turning his head weakly, he looked around, taking in his surroundings. Slowly, he dragged himself toward a nearby tree, using only that one arm, and with his last bit of strength, he pushed himself up against it.

A few days later…
A girl with lime-green hair walked into town. She wore a long-sleeved top, a long skirt, and a hat, with chest armor strapped to her torso. On her back were a bow, a quiver of arrows, and a small side bag. Her name was Lily.
She was an adventurer. She loved exploring, but now she did it mainly to pay off her father's debt.
Arriving at the adventurers' guild, a two-story building, she greeted some friends before heading to the main desk.
"Hey Lily, how are you today?" asked the receptionist.
"Fine. Somehow, I got out of the house without my father noticing me," Lily sighed.
"Why does he get so mad at you for adventuring?"
"Forget it. He's been like this for a long time,
Anyways Uncle Frank. How's your day going?"
"Mine's going well," Frank said. "But Lily, you should really talk to Michael. Tell him why you're doing this."

Just then, a boy ran up. "Big sis! Your father's coming here—run!"
Startled, Lily grabbed a commission slip without checking it, rolled it up, stuffed it into her bag, and ran.
At the main door, her father was talking to Frank. Frank noticed Lily and motioned for her to escape through the back. She slipped but quickly scrambled up.
Michael heard the sound. "What was that?"
Frank blocked him. "Just a bucket falling."
"Move. I want to see what it was."
He still didn't move, just forget it said Frank.
Then lily's father went to the main room to asked about lily.

He got frustrated and leaves the guild.
"Everyone reliefs a breath of fresh air"when he got out,
Lily fled into the forest. "I'm not a little girl anymore. I can take care of myself. He worries too much. And I didn't even see what commission I grabbed…"

The man looked. "I don't see any body."
She turned—and saw nothing. Looking back at him, she screamed.
"How?! You were dead! No heartbeat! You're a zombie! Don't eat me!"
"I'm not that tasty," he muttered. "What's a zombie?"
"…When did zombies start talking?"
"Explain it to me."
She explained.
"I see. Then that's why. I don't have a heartbeat because some one pierced my heart, while I was walking near by,Maybe an arrowhead is still stuck inside."
"Still, how are you alive?!"
With out answering her, he tore into his chest with his fingers and pulled out his heart. Blood dripped, but none splattered. He yanked out a broken arrowhead and tossed the heart into the river, along side the arrow head
Lily fainted.

Half an hour later, she woke to find him sitting by the river.
"You were out for a while," he said.
She stared. "Didn't you… have a hole in your chest? Where is it?"
"It healed."
"What do you mean healed?! Are you even human?"
"To be honest… I don't know what I am anymore."
"Then… at least your name."
"Maybe… Zaino. And you?"
"Lily."
"Can you tell me the name of the world"
