"Hey Coach, I won." As the white haired speedster gets off the track heading towards her coach.
Coach W, staring at the sun for some reason? Recognizes Kappa's voice immediately and looks down. "Ah. Kappa, Nice job, you were first again as i expected."
Kappa shrugs, and says "They weren't all that crazy, Coach, so."
Coach W, begins to smile, "Whatever, you say little Kappa. Now, I will make sure to notify your parents this time of year this time. There will be some form of competition, from the other Coaches."
Kappa raises an eyebrow "Competition? That exists? Wow. Maybe this year is something different…"
"Too bad, I'll turn 18 soon.." She murmurs to herself.
Kappa turns around, and immediately notices the "Grunt" on the floor that tried to attack her.
"M-Monster.. You Demon! I just wanted to win, YOU! YOU ALMOST KILLED ME!" The boy yells at her. So loudly, Coach W could hear it.
Kappa thinks to herself. "A monster? Me? Is this guy crazy?"
"Uh. Sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you?"
Kappa would extend a hand, to see the boy smack it away.
"I'm done. I Quit. You will remember me. Demon. My brother, He's an awakened, he won't let you off the hook."
Kappa tilts her head at that threat. "But, You tried to crash into me did you no-"
Ian interrupting Kappa yells "SHUT UP YOU WILL FACE THE CONSEQUENCES DEMON".
As Ian can then be seen limping away, his sturdy body allowing him to tank most of the damage, but clearly he sprained his ankle.
Kappa would turn to see most of the participants, left. She would question why, but pay no mind to it.
What she was really looking for was her "Super duper best friend in the whole wide world" Kokoro.
Kappa grimaces at muttering that. "Maybe, I might be too nice for my own good…"
"Either way! Where is she?!?"
She'd look in the far distance ahead, with her 2020 Vision. To see absolutely nothing. She is able to clearly notice that a decent amount of time has passed, that it's probably time to get home.
She'd begin walking down the neighborhood, seeing some kids passing by on the street playing with some toy.
She'd then begin running down the street, passing by her local My hero burger King, right to her house.
Upon opening the door, she is immediately met with a horrifying response.
"Sweetie, did you find a j*b application while you were out there? and win the Track-thingy?"
Kappa and a man? responds immediately, "Mom!" "Honey!" "Please don't say that word!"
An Black haired Man, with glasses, and a relatively small figure, compared to his daughter, can be seen drinking tea at the table. In the Kitchen, an white-haired Woman with an eyepatch, is currently at the table, attempting to cook.
The whole family is incapable of cooking, just to notify you, but these two were Kappa's parents.
(insert token here future me)
"Either way, I'm heading to my room Mom." as Kappa just jumps up off the wall skipping the stairs, to look flashy…?
Kappa's mother would simply sigh to herself, thinking about what she would do with her daughter…
Kappa enters her room, and the room is relatively monotone, and average. With a few figures, and a portrait on the wall above her bed. A picture of "Morgan of Valor", with the small table beside the bed, having a few cards, and one figure of morgan.
Kappa was a big fan of Morgan, she'd often refer to her as her "Goat."
Either way, At the window an Wooden Sword, that looks pretty beat up can be seen. This sword was one of the daily training regimens Kappa tended to do, and that was practicing her swordplay. Her swordplay was one of her defining features, about herself. Without this, honestly she'd be too disappointed in herself. Because of the fact that this very swordplay was made on a promise to herself.
One day, she'll become an Awakened! and fight side by side with Morgan of Valor.
"Screw the spell.." She'd murmur to herself as she heads off to bed, after practicing her sword movements.
A few months would then pass…
_______________________________________
The Winter Solstice was coming near. Kappa showed no signs of the nightmare spell, and was pretty disappointed.
"Man.. I think I've dissed that virus more than anything in my life.. I don't get it."
Was her swordsmanship for naught, She wondered to herself, but then quickly gained a sudden motivation. It doesn't matter even if she isn't infected! She will be the Strongest!
An hour would pass, as we can see Kappa at her track field once again, with her Coach W. Track has become rather unpopular, after the same person kept repeatedly winning. At least that's what Coach W thought. The last actual Track game they had was over Eight years ago, where Kappa raced as a kid.
Either way, he was pretty proud of his accomplishments. Coach W, was soon going to retire this year.
"Kappa. If you could come here." Coach W says as he begins to smile.
Kappa would finish eating something in wrappings, and walk over.
"You're one of the best, of the best. My star pupil. This year, I'm afraid it may be one of my last. That is why, I'd like to time you once again, at that speed of yours."
Kappa would raise a brow at that.
"Old man's retiring? Wow."
"Last time, you ran the whole track in 20 seconds, I believe." It was already proven, by an anonymous scientist, that Kappa was indeed faster than the previous times speedsters. An example being Usain Bolt.
The last time Kappa checked her score, she was significantly weaker back then. So even she was curious, on what she can do with these fully developed skills of hers. And with that, she began running. Kappa moved at an incredible speed, way faster than any normal mundane human. Moving around 42m in a singular continuous dash. (140ft in dnd terms)
She ended the run in 10.32 seconds, Waffle smirking at this.
"Good job Kappa, You made a new record, If i remember, You are almost at that world record."
Although Coach W could barely remember. It was long before Kappa was even born.
A white haired girl holds the current world record for fastest 400m run. Coach W saw her as a "Genius", She ran the very same track meet in the span of 3 seconds. It looked like she wasn't even trying either or just doing this because she was bored. Coach W back then could see pretty well, and he watched with his eyes.
"Good job though Kappa." as a tear begins to fall down his eye.
"Yeah, Thanks Coach. You were pretty go-" As Kappa was about to finish she immediately dodges to the side, as Kokoro appears leaping at her.
What was weird is,
In her vision she clearly saw Kokoro, but kokoro seemed way faster than she originally thought. Or was she getting more tired…?
Kappa would dodge though, huffing and puffing for some odd reason, feeling sleepy.
"KAPPA! You left me behind! Why'd you do that??"
Kokoro seems to be quite sad by the expression she was expressing at Kappa, though Kappa showed an indifferent face.
"You *huff* shouldn't rely on me so much.. Don't you have better things to do..." *huff.*
Kokoro immediately noticed with her Kappa danger detection, something was wrong with Kappa.
"Kappa.. Are you SICK?!?" Kokoro seems to be incredibly surprised. Though this doesn't seem to be a normal flu. Kappa seems to be getting more and more sleepy.
"I'm tired Kokoro, can you stop yelling…" Kappa looks like she's about to close her eyes.
"NOOOOOOOO IT TOOK MY BESTIE TOO?" Kokoro would immediately princess carry kappa catching her offguard, but she was unable to resist as it was. Kokoro would then run off across the street. Faster than those PTV Machines.
(think of the ptvs as cars for the nonwaffle and jelly)
"Wait.. when were you so strong, and fast..?" Kappa tiredly looks up at Kokoro running to the Hospital.
"Don't worry Kappa, I know you will be safe and sound, and super cared for!", Kokoro says as she reaches the door of the hospital.
"I told you, I'm fine though, I'm just tire-" Kokoro interrupts Kappa once again, in a serious tone,
"Kappa, I need you to stay up for as long as you can okay?" She then immediately notifies the nurse, and the nurse takes the two, as Kokoro hands off Kappa.
Kappa does her best, and is lying in a hospital bed, talking to herself out loud this time, under her breath.
"Hey brain.. Do you think they're all overreacting…"
"No, Kappa! You're right, they are just stupid!!"
"I see.. You know, maybe i should give you a nam-"
Another voice interrupts Kappa again, which ticks her off a bit. The problem is, when she looks over, she sees a Child with a beard walk into the Room..? She is able to see the nametag of this "Child", and it seems to be the doctor that's gonna explain what's going on to her.
His nametag read out, "Doctor Omar."
