Chapter 1 - | The White Haired Speedster |

In a pretty well-built house, in a bustling neighborhood, two figures can be noticed coming out the house, one with white hair, and one with orange hair. The white-haired girl in particular seems to be completely ecstatic

"You know Kokoro" as the white-haired girl seems to have a large grin when speaking to the orange haired girl

"I am pretty fast! I don't see how track coach Waffle would even be disappointed if we were just a bit late this time. I'd rather go eat or something."

Kokoro responds with a smirk to her best friend. "Eat burger king I assume? Well Kappa you can't! Not this time, you have to run for tryouts, if you miss that, not even the coach could excuse that, even for you!"

In the distance a relatively large building with a large All Might statue near the front area, can be noticed.

Reading out the sign name it reads "My Hero Burger King - "Every hero deserves a whopper!" Kappa's face turns to a frown, as she looks at the building in the distance and thinks to herself.

"If I could at least get over there, Mr. All might, could give me one meal quickly… Brain what do you think?"

A voice responds soon after she asks herself that question.

"yes, kappa yes run there Kokoro has 20ft of movement, you have 40 she grunt you strong"

Her blue eyes glint for a moment as she sees the opening thread, towards the fastfood place. "Alright Brain thanks! 🙏"

By that simple response, Kappa can be seen attempting to break from Kokoro's grasp… She ultimately fails miserably, her friend must have some sort of nightmare creature strength or something…

Either way! Kappa had one more idea, in her head. One simple one that works every time against her strong friend.

Kappa can be seen begging, as she is being dragged away. By Kokoro towards the distance a track field.

"Kokoro, Come on! Please!" as Kappa seems to be on the ground struggling against her friend's grip. Usually, the begging method always works. Kokoro would usually fall for Kappa's cries, but sadly, today was different?

Kokoro gritted her teeth, as she continued to drag Kappa towards the tryouts. She felt awfully tired, which was weird! Kokoro was never tired when around Kappa before!

"Kappa.. I'll be right back, just pls do the tryouts." As Kokoro, with an almost depressed expression, let's go of Kappa at the track field, after fully dragging her there. She seems to pull out some phone, as a Helicopter comes in to pick her up almost immediately.

Kappa, with a defeated expression, stood there with all the other mundane humans, mainly teenagers. There were a few boys, who looked way older than they should be, their faces showing clear adulthood. Kappa paid them no mind though.

In all honesty, Kappa was pretty confident all of these guys at minimum were inconceivably slow, compared to her. Just from one glance, she can tell that her competition doesn't seem all that impressive though it doesn't matter as all she has to do is make the team.

A pretty big man with a large belly would step up with a clipboard in his hands and a Coach's cap. It was Coach Waffle! Waffle seemed to have already prepared each of the tasks the kids would have to be doing. The main purpose of today was to see the kids' speed in action.

"Alright. All of you are here." He specifically glances towards Kappa, and gives a thumbs up at her, with Kappa simply ignoring it.

When around anyone else, Kappa seems to exult out an flimsy attempt of an unapproachable aura, whenever her best friend is out of sight. This was usually her attempt at aura-farming.

It always failed.

An Older-boy would approach Kappa, and say.

"Must be confident aren't ya." Winning the last meet a year ago must have boosted your confidence."

he'd then snicker at Kappa and look towards his group of friends in the distance for reassurance for his next remark.

"That's why, I'm here to tell ya, You won't be winning this time."

The Older-boy was called Ian, though Kappa likes to think of the side-characters that approach her within her life as grunts, usually numbered from #1-10.

The boy would point with his middle finger right towards Kappa. Remarking with an even absurd remark, one that caught Kappa off guard.

"Infact, I'll be taking you down this year permanently."

Kappa responds immediately confused, "Are you as slow in races in the head as well? What are you talking about??"

Ian, confident, still responded with a smirk. "You heard me Speedster, You'll be dead last."
