The sky glows red with fire and rocks. Jor-El stands in his chamber, gazing at the distortion of his home. "We have to go," Lara says, standing at the door of the Chamber wearing white clothing and holding baby Kal-El, who cries in her arms. "What are you still doing here?" "I told you to go and wait," he replies, walking towards her, barely keeping himself upright amidst the rumbling.
"I am not leaving without you," she says.
Jor-El lets out a sigh, knowing she would not leave even if he tells her to.
"OK, let's go to the console room," he says, taking Kal from her to free up her arms. As they rush to the meeting room while the building crumbles around them,
They rush outside and get into a flying car, taking off into the air. They see all kinds of horror on the ground, sea, and sky. Meteors fly down from the sky, hitting the ground hard, causing earthquakes;
Lara could only shield Kal-El's eyes.
As they land, console men are there to greet them, and one of them says, "Jor-El, Lara, come; they're waiting for you in the room."
"Lead the way," Jor-El says. Hearing the panic in his voice, he turns to Lara and whispers in her ear, "OK, just as we planned, you need to go and look for an escape pod, and you, Kal, are set to leave the planet. I will be right behind you."
"Are you sure you're going to be there when it's time?" says Lara, not wanting to leave her husband.
"Yes, I promise," says Jor-El, unsure if he will be there
Before she could say anything, he pushed her to go. She runs fast to another door on the side of the landing path.
Jor-El starts walking fast behind the other men and says, "She is going to make another plan to try and stop this."
"You got another plan for this," says one of the men walking him to the meeting room. you can hear the suspicion in his voice but he chose to say nothing
"Yes," says Jor-El, hoping they're not that smart.
As they reach the meeting room, they push open the door loudly. Inside, they saw people from the military, the government, and the lower and upper classes.
But Jor-El's eyes landed only on Zod with his black Armor.
"SIT," a loud voice can be heard saying to Jor-El, "We can't waste time-" Before the President could finish his words, Jor-El cuts him off, slamming his hand on the table and shouting in anger,
"WE TOLD YOU THAT WHEN WE FOUND THAT CELESTIAL IN OUR PLANET, WE KNEW THAT GALACTUS HAD BEEN EATING PLANETS 10 LIGHT YEARS AWAY FROM US, AND WE KNEW THAT THOSE PLANETS HAD GOOD LIFE FORCE." his voice flowing through the room
The president cuts him off, by slamming his hammer on the table, but Jor-El does not care; he keeps talking. This time, his voice lowered.
"We told you that he is only eating planets with a lot of life force on them, so when me and my wife came up with a plan to make our planet half sick so that he does not come here and it was going to work".
But then you greedy people started digging far into the planet, wanting all the resources on the planet to leave with you,
but then you found that Celestial. We told you that it is giving off a lot of life force."
He stops for a second and says, "And what did you do?" You listened to him," he says, pointing to Zod, looking unbothered by him calling him out.
Jor-El continued, "You listened to him and tried to make weapons out of it, and doing so made the herald of Galactus find us."
When he finally stops talking, everyone in the room looks at Zod. He lets out a sigh and finally stands up, beginning to talk.
"Yes, I was the one that told you all to make weapons out of that thing, but I only told you so because we were losing the war against the Skrulls." As he says that, everyone in the room agrees. He continued.
"I am just as sad about our planet going to be devoured along with our history, but guess what? We found planets with yellow suns that give us overwhelming power. We can take our people there and kill Galactus."
Before anyone could say anything about the yellow sun, there was a big BOOM! sending a shockwave tearing down the building sending rocks and iron kill a lot of people
In the chaos coming from under the rubble, it was only Jor-El and Zod and his men who were alive, thanks to their Armor. They all stand up, looking at where the boom came from, and they see him, Galactus, standing far away, but his height makes him visible.
"I thought he was going to be bigger," says one of Zod's men, holding his head, blood can be seen coming out like a small river
Zod answers back, saying he can change his size he most be looking for something. But what
Jor-El finally stands up, still dizzy, only alive because his fellow people's bodies stopped some of the rubble from hitting him, but some still landed on him, crushing his left arm.
As he finally gets to his senses, he realizes what is happening and turns around, running to where his wife should be. As he starts running, Zod shouts, telling him to stop and calling him a coward, but Jor-El does not care about him.
He ignores the pain and runs as fast as he can praying to whatever god he knows,
As he reaches the place where the pod room should be he sees that The boom left nothing but rubble, and only one pod is left standing.
Thankfully, the pod and the place it was standing on were made out a metal called Vibranium
Jor-El runs to the pod to see his son in it. He tries to look around to see if he saw his wife, but there was nothing, only fire, rubble and the planet turning grey from Galactus.
Jor-El sees his son in the pod, crying, and then says, "Shhh, it's OK. I'm sure your mom left you a message. I wish I could leave one for you as well, but it's only a one-time use."
He then starts to look at where the pod was going, and it was marked "Earth".
"Earth?" he says, "and it has a yellow sun. Looks like your mom already knows about that, huh?" He pauses to get a good look at his son one final time. "That's good, you can be whatever you want there, a hero, a king, a... GOD. I wish I could talk to you more but I can't".
He gets up, using his right arm to launch the pod, But remember this son I love you he says
pressing the button and sending the pod flying away.
The pod leaves the planet just in time when it was all eaten up, going grey and falling apart, leaving nothingbut void.
