Vaidehi (gently):
"Krishna's love wasn't about pleasing everyone, Madan. It was about elevating those who were willing to surrender, those who were ready to give everything. You need to choose, and you need to choose wisely."
Madan stands silently, his mind in turmoil. He realizes that his attempt to emulate Krishna's divine love was misguided. He's not Krishna; he's Madan. And love, real love, requires more than just desire or admiration.
Neha :"Madan, I came here hoping for honesty... for something real. But what you're offering, what you're asking of us... it's not love. It's selfishness."
She turns to leave, her back straight and her steps deliberate. Madan reaches out, as if to stop her, but then hesitates.
Madan (almost pleading):
"Neha, please don't go. I didn't mean it like that. I—"
Neha (cutting him off, shaking her head):
"You didn't mean it? You don't even understand what you're asking, Madan. I need someone who is willing to choose, who's willing to give themselves fully. Not someone who thinks love can be spread thin like that. I can't be part of that."
She walks away, her steps firm and resolute. Madan watches her leave, his heart sinking. But then his gaze shifts to Vaidehi, who has been quietly observing the whole exchange. She hasn't moved yet, but her eyes are filled with quiet disappointment.
Madan (softly, trying to explain himself):
"Vaidehi... please... I thought I was doing the right thing. I wanted to love both of you the way Krishna loved."
Vaidehi takes a step forward, her expression calm but firm.
Vaidehi (gently):
"Madan, Krishna's love was divine. His love didn't demand anything from others. It wasn't selfish. He gave himself fully to those who were ready to surrender, who were ready to love unconditionally. What you're offering isn't love, Madan. It's a game."
She sighs softly, the pain in her eyes more than words can express.
Vaidehi (softly):
"I can't be part of a game, Madan. I need someone who understands love... who understands the responsibility it carries. Not someone who tries to justify their actions with grand ideals without seeing the truth of it."
Without waiting for a response, Vaidehi turns to leave. Madan stands still, watching both women walk away from him, one by one. His heart feels heavier with every step they take. The rooftop, once a place of possibilities, now feels empty and cold.
As the last of the sunlight fades, Madan is left alone in the quiet stillness, realizing the enormity of his mistake. The two women he cared for, the ones he thought he could have a future with, have left because he didn't understand love the way he thought he did. And now, for the first time, he's truly alone.
A cozy café. Neha sits across her best friend, sipping chai.
Friend:
"So what's going on with that Madan guy?"
Neha (laughing but hiding hurt):
"He proposed… with another girl standing next to me."
Friend (spits chai):
"What?!"
Neha (smiling faintly):
"I should be mad. But I wasn't shocked. That's what hurts."
Friend:
"Are you still into him?"
Neha:
"I don't know. He makes me feel seen one moment… and invisible the next."
A serene, quiet Krishna temple. Bells ringing in distance. She stands in front of the deity, holding a small diya.
Neha (praying softly):
"Krishna… you balanced love and duty. I just want someone who doesn't have to be divine just honest."
(pause)
"If he ever comes to me as just Madan, not Krishna's shadow… I'll be waiting."
She places the diya down and walks away, peaceful but firm.
The heavenly realms, where the air is filled with the sweet fragrance of divine flowers. The sounds of celestial music and chanting resonate in the background, creating an aura of peace and serenity. Narada Muni, the sage with the veena slung over his back, is walking across the celestial gardens. His presence radiates wisdom and grace as he moves through different realms, visiting various Lokas to gather information about the devotees on Earth.
Narada's first stop is the Vaikuntha Loka, the eternal abode of Lord Vishnu. He enters the sacred gates, where the divine guards bow respectfully to him. The air is thick with the presence of spiritual power. Narada approaches Lord Vishnu, who is seated on his divine throne, surrounded by his eternal consort Lakshmi and other celestial beings.
Narada Muni (bowing respectfully):
"Lord Vishnu, I come to inquire about the state of your devotees on Earth in this present age. I have seen many souls lost in confusion and wandering, and I wish to know how they fare."
Lord Vishnu, his form radiant and compassionate, smiles gently as he looks at Narada.
Lord Vishnu:
"The path of devotion is not easy, Narada. In this age of Kali, many souls are distracted by material desires. However, there are always those who remain faithful and devoted, even amidst the chaos. Their devotion, though simple, reaches the heavens. It is through their sincerity that the world continues to turn."
Narada Muni (thoughtfully):
"And are there any who are truly exemplary in this age? Those who remain steadfast in their devotion, even when surrounded by temptation?"
Lord Vishnu (with a soft chuckle):
"There are always such souls, Narada. One must look not just at their outward actions, but the depth of their hearts. Even in the most unlikely places, devotion flourishes. It is not bound by time or place. It is eternal."
Narada Muni (with folded hands, humbly):
"I wish to see who, in this present time on Earth, is your most beloved devotee.
Vishnu's eyes glisten with affection as he listens to Narada's words. He nods gently, understanding Narada's request, and rises from his throne with a graceful motion.
Lord Krishna (with a soft, affectionate smile):
"Narada, you are a true seeker of devotion. I will show you my most beloved devotee of this time."
Vishnu waves his hand in the air, and a mystical vision materializes before Narada. They see Earth, the very place where Madan is seated alone, abandoned and rejected.
Narada Muni (watching the scene unfold, surprised):
"Lord, is this the one you cherish? Madan, the one who has been lost in his desires, confused by love, and rejected by those he loves?"
Lord Vishnu (nodding, his voice gentle but firm):
"Look deeper, Narada. See the devotion within him. Though his actions may seem misguided, his heart still beats with love for me. He is like a cloud that hides the sun. His heart has yet to realize its true potential, but it is filled with longing and repentance. His journey is long, but his sincerity is what makes him dear to me."
Narada watches closely, seeing Madan sitting alone, his shoulders slumped in sorrow. The earlier chaos and flirtations are now replaced by a somber expression of regret. His heart aches from the rejection of both Vaidehi and Neha. He is alone, facing the consequences of his own actions, and yet there is something pure in the way he holds his pain.
Narada Muni (speaking quietly, reflecting on the scene):
"I see it now, Lord Vishnu. He is not as lost as I thought. His heart, though broken and confused, still calls out to you. He has been led astray by the illusion of love, but his soul is yearning for something higher. His pain is his prayer, and his loneliness is his penance."
Vishnu smiles, his divine eyes filled with compassion as he looks at Madan from Vaikuṇṭha.
Lord Vishnu:
"Yes, Narada. Madan is just like many others in this age, confused by desires, misled by worldly attachments. But the pain he feels now is the beginning of his awakening. He is a devotee not because of his perfection, but because of his heart's sincerity. Those who stumble on their path, those who fall and get up again, are still dear to me. I see beyond their mistakes."
Narada Muni (with awe):
"Lord, is this why you chose him, despite his flaws? Because even in his confusion, his love for you is unwavering?"
Lord Vishnu (smiling softly):
"Exactly, Narada. Madan's journey is one of transformation. His heart, though distracted, is still seeking. I cherish him not because he is perfect, but because he is mine. He will learn, grow, and realize his true purpose in time. I am always with him, even when he cannot see me."
Narada stands silently, contemplating the depth of Vishnu's words. His heart is moved, and he understands now the true nature of devotion: it is not about perfection or outward actions, but the sincerity of the heart and the longing for the Divine, no matter how lost or confused one may seem.
Narada Muni (humbly, with a deep bow):
"Lord Vishnu, your wisdom is beyond comprehension. I now see that even in his mistakes, Madan's devotion is pure.
Lord Vishnu:
I will Help him find his way. But remember, it is he who must choose the path. Devotion is not a burden, but a blessing. Let him find it in his own heart."
Vishnu begins his journey back to Earth, his heart filled with renewed understanding of the nature of devotion.
Madan sits in his room, his back against the wall, staring out of the window into the dark night. The air is thick with his sorrow. He has been rejected by both Vaidehi and Neha, and he is filled with regret and loneliness. His heart is in turmoil, wondering how he went so astray, how his misdirected actions led to this emptiness. The whole world outside seems distant, as if he no longer belongs.
Unbeknownst to him, a divine presence begins to fill the room, transforming the atmosphere. A soft glow fills the space, and the fragrance of divine flowers fills the air. Madan looks up, startled, sensing something inexplicable.
Madan (whispering to himself):
"What is this feeling? It's... as if... something is different."
Before he can process the thought, the divine figure materializes in front of him ,none other than Lord Krishna, in his enchanting, divine form, standing there with a serene smile and a loving gaze. Krishna's presence is overwhelming, yet comforting, as if the entire universe has converged in this one moment.
Madan (shocked, wide-eyed):
"Y... You? Are you... are you Krishna?"
Krishna smiles warmly, his eyes filled with love and understanding. He steps closer to Madan, his voice soft and reassuring.
Lord Krishna (in a gentle tone):
"Yes, Madan. It is I. Do not be afraid. I have come because your heart has called to me, though you may not have known it."
Madan is still speechless, unable to comprehend what is happening. He stumbles to his feet, overwhelmed by Krishna's presence.
Madan (with disbelief):
"But... how? Why? I... I don't deserve this I have been rejected by the ones I loved. I have failed in every way possible..."
Lord Krishna (calmly):
"Madan, you are never lost. You are my devotee, whether you know it or not. You have been searching for love, for something true, but you have been looking in all the wrong places. Your heart, though confused, still calls out to me. And I have heard your prayer."
Madan, still overwhelmed, falls to his knees in front of Krishna, tears welling up in his eyes. His voice trembles as he speaks.
Madan (with deep emotion):
"I... I don't know what to do anymore. I thought I could find happiness through love, through winning the hearts of others.
Lord Krishna (gently lifting Madan, guiding him to stand):
"Madan, you have not failed. You are here, seeking me. That itself is a victory. You may have lost in the eyes of the world, but your heart still beats for love ,the right kind of love. And that is what matters."
Madan looks up at Krishna, his heart full of longing.
Madan (with earnestness):
"Lord, I know my heart is still full of desire, but I seek your guidance. I do not wish to be rejected again. I have loved Neha and Vaidehi, and even though they have left me, my heart still longs for them. I know it is foolish, but I ask of you, as my Lord and my guide, please, grant me this boon. Allow both Neha and Vaidehi to be my wives."
Krishna's eyes sparkle with a knowing glint. He looks at Madan with both compassion and a hint of amusement, sensing the complexity of his request.
Lord Krishna (softly, with grace):
"Madan, because you have asked me with sincerity, I grant you your boon.
A wave of divine energy fills the room, and Madan feels a sense of peace wash over him. Krishna places his hand on Madan's head, blessing him.
Lord Krishna (smiling warmly):
"Go, Madan. Live your life with the love you seek, but always keep your heart open to the Divine. I am always with you."
The day of Madan's wedding has arrived, and the air is filled with a sense of excitement. The streets are adorned with colorful decorations, and there is a vibrant energy that fills the atmosphere. A large gathering of friends, family, and well-wishers has come together in celebration. The venue is beautifully decorated, with flowers and lights, creating a divine ambiance. The setting sun casts a golden glow over everything, making it feel like a celestial event.
