"Dad, what's up?" Blaze glanced at the incoming call. He'd just returned from the mansion—why another call already?
"Your grandmother keeps insisting you two come back to live there. No one at home can persuade her. What do you think?" Michael's tone was hesitant. Young people these days loved their private time; Blaze had just started being with Cecilia—he probably didn't want too many extra bodies around.
Blaze thought for a moment before saying, "We'll move back tomorrow."
Michael was surprised at how quickly Blaze agreed. But since he consented, calming the old lady would be easy.
The reason Blaze agreed was simple: Ivanka. The more she opposed it, the more he wanted to bring Cecilia home for the entire family to see. Once the whole family accepted it, what could Ivanka do? This move was foolproof against her, so Blaze didn't hesitate.
"Pack up. We're moving to the mansion tomorrow." Blaze knocked on the guest room door as he went upstairs.
