Ivonne Stack walked towards León with her drink, but she hadn't expected that two steps along, a dark figure would bump into her.
She couldn't dodge, and the drink in her hand went all over the man.
"Oh~ I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I didn't mean it!" Ivonne apologised quickly.
She found that the man in front of her was 1.9 metres tall, with tattoos on his bare arms and neck and a scar on his right cheek.
At first glance, not a nice man!
His fierce look made Ivonne back away several steps.
"Is sorry enough? My clothes are very expensive!"
"But all right! Seeing as you're a looker, I'll be the bigger man. As long as you come and have a drink with me and my lads, we'll say no more about it!"
The big man looked Ivonne up and down and said with a grin.
Ivonne might not match Ángela Carey, but she was still one of the best.
Beauties like this were rare. Since she'd landed in his lap, he couldn't just let her go.
With a pretty woman drinking with them, they'd fight all the harder later.
But hearing this, Ivonne's face went pale.
The clothes on the man looked like market-stall stuff; all together they might be worth a thousand pesetas.
He clearly had bad intentions!
Flustered, Ivonne instinctively looked at her male colleagues.
"My friend, my colleague was careless. Your clothes are only worth a few pesetas all told. Look, I'll give you ten thousand pesetas in compensation."
The captain, the head of the group and the organiser of the night out, stepped forward and said.
The captain was in his thirties, in a tailored suit with a designer watch on his wrist, dressed like a successful man.
After looking at the big man, he didn't want any more trouble, so he decided to settle it with money.
And once he'd spoken, several male colleagues stood up too, quietly giving the captain some courage.
This big fella looked fierce, but there were five of them.
But they never expected it; the big man smiled sarcastically: "Loaded, are you? Plenty of you, are there? Lads!"
The big man waved his hand, and four men stood up from the next table.
The captain's face and the others' suddenly turned very ugly. The other side looked like gangland chancers.
If it came to a fight, these few wouldn't even be enough to pick their teeth with!
"Friend, tell me! How much will it take to sort this out!" the captain said through gritted teeth.
The big man said, "I told you, I don't want money!"
"All I want is for these beauties to come and have a drink with me and my lads!"
The big man had only wanted Ivonne at first, but now he saw there were so many long-legged beauties here.
How could he not take the lot?
A treat for all the lads! They'd have more fun later!
"You~"
The captain went to say something, but the big man showed him no respect at all, glaring at him with ferocious eyes and a menacing air.
"Get lost!"
"Any more rubbish and I'll twist your heads off one by one!"
The captain instinctively took a step back, swallowed hard, his face going white and blue.
He really wanted to punch the big man, but in the end he didn't dare. He was a successful man, fine china; he couldn't smash himself against a clay pot like this.
"Ha ha!"
Seeing the captain lose his nerve, the big man sneered at once.
"A bunch of gutless wimps."
The man sneered, then stepped forward and grabbed Ángela by the arm.
After all, Ángela was the most beautiful of all these beauties!
"Ah~ Angie!" Ivonne cried out.
Ángela was so frightened her lovely face went white, and she kept hitting the big man with her small fists: "Let go of me!"
She looked at her male colleagues as if begging for help, especially Howie, who had always been so attentive to her.
But she never expected that Howie would be looking somewhere else right now, not daring to look at her at all.
In that moment, Ángela's heart went cold!
"Gorgeous, don't mind these gutless wimps. I'll show you what a real man is!" the big man laughed.
"Oi, what are you at? Let her go, don't cause trouble here."
Just then Timmy, on León's orders, hurried over with two lads and shouted at the big man.
And Timmy's arrival didn't seem to surprise the big man at all. Instead he sneered with contempt: "Get lost, mind your own business!"
"This is the Sala network's patch. Make any more trouble and you won't walk out of this bar!" Timmy threatened angrily.
This fella was so arrogant, still not showing him any respect on Sala network territory.
"Hmph, then try it!"
The big man's eyes turned savage. His left hand still held Ángela, and with a wave of his right, seven or eight more men came out of the crowd.
"Remember, my name's el Toro, and everyone calls me the Mad Bull," el Toro said.
"Lads, get stuck in and show these Sala boys what we can do!"
A dozen of his lads closed in. Timmy had never expected the other side to be so decisive.
But this was his own patch; he couldn't back down!
He gave his lads the nod, and they went at it!
The two gangs clashed. Even though León had more than thirty lads under him, spread across five venues they didn't amount to many.
So at that moment they were outnumbered by el Toro's men.
León's face was grave. These people had come prepared to make trouble.
Were they with the Ribes gang?
Timmy was grappling with one of el Toro's men. One man went down with a single punch; tables and chairs were smashed to the floor, glasses and bottles shattered.
The other customers dodged in fright and ran out of the bar.
Seeing one of el Toro's lads rushing at him, León didn't hesitate and threw a punch straight away.
"Crack!"
The punch landed square on the lad's face. His body flew two or three metres and hit the floor hard.
He didn't move; he'd simply passed out.
"Hm?"
"This one's tricky. A few more of you, get him!"
Seeing one of his lads flattened by León with one punch, el Toro waved three of them forward and they charged.
León shifted his feet, and before their fists could land, he stepped in and punched the fella in front again.
"Crack!"
This punch was even faster, slamming into the fella's cheek. His eyes rolled up and he dropped, dazed.
Before the other two could react, León kicked sideways, sent one flying, and kept moving.
An uppercut, smooth as flowing water, caught the last man's chin, and many people heard a crack.
"Ahhh~!"
The fella dropped to his knees, clutching his chin and screaming in agony.
Many could see his jaw was misshapen, either broken or dislocated.
In just two exchanges León had dealt with four men. Everyone was stunned, and even el Toro looked as if he couldn't believe it.
