Synopsis
"Goblins are weak! Even the most despicable monster can be crushed to death with just one kick! Why can't an adult defeat a goblin? How stupid!" That's what Caelan always thought—until he saw them for himself. In the world of games and novels he knew, goblins were nothing more than background fodder. But here, in a brutal new reality, they are armed, deadly, and killing humans. Barely surviving his first encounter, Caelan is on the brink of death when his [Spirit Offering] talent activates. The goblin he just killed reappears, now fighting alongside him against its own kind. With this new power, Caelan's legend begins. He summons succubi, forms contracts with wolf girls, and intimidates young dragons. Adorned with titles like the "Forsaken of God" and the "King of Duels," he rises to become the great president of the Adventurer's Guild, forging his own destiny in a world far more dangerous than he ever imagined. Chapter 1 - Goblin Attack

"It hurts so much!"

"Where is this? Why can't I remember anything?"

"Me too. Does anyone know what's going on?"

Caelan, in a state of complete darkness, heard the noisy voices around him and struggled to open his eyes.

The evening glow dyed the sky red, and pink clouds drifted slowly.

This was the first scene Caelan saw after opening his eyes.

Looking around, Caelan found himself in a dilapidated building.

Cracked, grass-covered walls, giant stone pillars broken into several pieces, and an open-air roof.

There was even a five-meter-tall female statue.

However, the statue's head was missing, and its moss-covered hands were clasped at its chest.

"It looks like a medieval church!"

Caelan was stunned.

How did he end up in such a strange place after just sleeping?

Had he transmigrated?

There were other people in the ruined church, and the conversations Caelan had heard earlier were from them.

However, judging by their conversations, it seemed everyone had lost their memory.

They couldn't remember anything except their own names.

"Which means they don't know they've transmigrated yet!"

After careful observation, Caelan found that including himself, there were fifteen people dressed in modern clothes.

Eight males, seven females!

At this moment, they were constantly moving around, rummaging through the ruins.

Outside the church was a dense forest, and from time to time, eerie cries similar to crows could be heard.

"Huh, what's this?" Caelan suddenly found something like a panel in his mind.

Name: Caelan.

Race: Human

Level: 0

Experience: 0 / 50

Profession: None

Magic Power: 10 / 10

Skills: None

Talent: Spirit Offering! [Note: Killing monsters grants monster souls. Sacrificing monster souls allows you to Summon monsters to assist in battle. Consuming monster souls allows you to learn monster skills!]

"Holy crap!" Caelan was stunned.

Not because of the panel in his mind, but because he had just learned that there were monsters in this world!

Caelan's eyes widened, and he immediately got up, preparing to check his surroundings.

Suddenly, Caelan's eyes narrowed, and he quickly walked to a collapsed wall, squatting down to examine it.

On this stone wall, there were many etchings, from shallow to deep.

They looked like they were caused by a sharp weapon.

Looking elsewhere, Caelan found that this wasn't the only place with etchings.

"There aren't monsters here, are there? I'm completely useless right now! Where's the beginner protection period?" Caelan licked his lips, looking a bit nervous.

Seeing a palm-sized sharp stone not far away, Caelan immediately walked over, picked it up, and put it in his trench coat pocket.

The amnesiac crowd around them were either gathered in discussion or climbing onto the broken walls to look into the distance.

They had no sense of danger, as if they didn't know there were monsters in this world.

"Did they not only lose their memories, but also have no panels or talents?"

Caelan didn't feel happy inside; instead, he felt a bit bitter.

If they encountered danger, none of the dozen or so people would be able to fight!

Just then, a lean man climbed onto a four-meter-high broken wall, stepping on rubble and collapsed walls, looking into the distance, and discovered a town.

He immediately shouted excitedly to the people moving below: "Hey, everyone! In that direction, through the forest, it looks like there are people living there!"

"Swish~!"

A sound of something cutting through the air came.

The lean man only felt a black shadow flash before his eyes. He turned his head in confusion to look down.

An arrow collided with the stone wall, bounced to the ground, and rolled a few times.

Before the lean man could figure out what had happened, another arrow shot over.

This time he wasn't so lucky; the arrow pierced his throat!

Caelan and the others watched the lean man fall from above, his head splitting open upon impact, and their breathing involuntarily quickened.

Several women, seeing the blood flowing beside the lean man's corpse, squatted on the ground, clutching their heads and screaming.

"Jie jie jie..."

Accompanied by a series of evil laughs, five short, ugly, green-skinned creatures with pointed ears and sharp teeth, holding curved knives, daggers, and other weapons, climbed up from outside the ruins.

"What the hell are these things?"

A man only a few meters away from these creatures, seeing their appearance, turned and tried to run.

But as soon as he lifted his leg, one of the green-skinned creatures threw a dagger, which accurately hit his calf.

The man felt a sharp pain in his calf and his body lurched forward, falling down.

"Ah~, save me, save me!" The fallen man saw a dagger stuck in his leg, felt his body go limp, and frantically called for help from the people behind him.

Caelan noticed that a sturdy, short-haired young man in the crowd took a step, preparing to rescue him, but stopped his pace the next moment.

After the man fell, the five green-skinned creatures almost simultaneously pounced on him.

They used the clubs in their hands to violently smash the man's head, and repeatedly stabbed him with their weapons!

One even opened its mouth, bit the man's face, and tore off a large piece of flesh!

The man only let out one cry before he stopped breathing.

That green-skinned creature continuously chewed the flesh in its mouth, making constant swallowing sounds.

"Ah~!"

Someone in the crowd couldn't help but scream, and everyone turned and fled in panic.

Caelan naturally wouldn't be foolish enough to stay here; he even turned and ran before anyone screamed.

While running, Caelan muttered to himself: "Goblins! No mistake, these are Goblins! Is this what monsters from another world are like?"

These Goblins looked small, but their speed was no slower than Caelan's and the others'.

And they were more agile, stronger, and had sharp weapons in their hands.

Caelan knew his limits; if he didn't run, he would only die.

"Jie jie!"

Behind him came the Goblins' unintelligible cries, followed by a series of screams Caelan heard.

"Save me!"

"Get away, don't come near me, don't come near me!"

Without looking back, he knew someone had been caught.

At this moment, everyone fleeing wished they had two more legs!

The church was not large, only a few hundred square meters.

Caelan and the others quickly reached the other side, preparing to escape.

In a short amount of time, one male was killed.

Another female was dragged to flat ground by two ugly Goblins, her clothes already torn off.

It seemed the Goblins were preparing to assault the girl.

"No, please, no no no… Ah~!"

Hearing the desperate screams of the girl, the hearts of those still alive trembled.

"Beasts!"

Finally, the sturdy young man who had previously been about to save someone couldn't hold back, roaring as he charged forward.

The three Goblins who had caught up completely ignored the charging sturdy young man and headed straight for Caelan and the others.

Perhaps they thought this sturdy young man was no match for their two companions.

"Why are you just standing there, run!"

As Caelan was about to climb over the low wall on the outskirts of the ruins, he noticed a girl in a blue dress next to him still stunned.

The girl suddenly startled awake, crying as she followed Caelan over the low wall.

Caelan, having climbed out, was about to continue running when he discovered there were several Goblins outside the ruins.

The moment they saw Caelan climb out of the church, a Goblin holding a bow and arrow immediately shot an arrow.

Whether it was Caelan's bad luck or not, the first arrow hit him.

The arrowhead embedded in his left forearm, but didn't pass through.

Suffering such pain for the first time in his life, Caelan couldn't help but cry out.

Looking at the Goblin drawing its bow and nocking another arrow, Caelan exclaimed that he was doomed.
