Time flew, and the first class was soon over.
Teacher Sato announced that they would have the afternoon off and that regular classes would begin tomorrow. The classroom erupted in a huge cheer.
Sato Taiji smiled at the noisy children, gathered his materials, and quickly left the classroom.
The moment the teacher was gone, An Yan immediately opened the window and climbed out. Tsunade saw him and wanted to call out, but she hesitated. Before she could form the words, An Yan's figure had already leaped onto a rooftop and disappeared from sight.
"Forget it! I'll ask him next time."
Tsunade clenched her small fists in frustration and swung them in the air. Beside her, Hiruko pursed his lips, packed his things, and quickly left. For him, being deskmates with the princess of the Senju clan was quite stressful.
After just one class, An Yan's reputation had increased by over thirty points, nearing the fifty-point mark. There were forty-one students in the class besides him. It seemed that more than half of them had remembered him. The remaining few had probably forgotten him as soon as they heard his name, leaving no impression and thus granting no reputation points.
Once he preached the Will of Fire a few more times and made his dream of becoming Hokage widely known, his reputation would likely break one hundred. Then he could finally make his first wish. He wondered what he would get.
The Tomb Raider wish pool... he was really looking forward to it. An Yan remembered that in the Tomb Raider story, there was a prophet named Jacob who was immortal and had lived for thousands of years. If he could draw that immortality ability, it would be fantastic.
If An Yan easily obtained what Orochimaru had painstakingly pursued for half his life, the snake sannin would probably be furious enough to undergo cytokinesis.
Lost in thought, An Yan arrived home. He stuffed the groceries into the refrigerator, tied on an apron, and started cooking.
Meanwhile, Tsunade returned to the Senju clan's compound. The place, once bustling with people, was now rather deserted.
As the clan head, the Second Hokage, Tobirama Senju, had started implementing a policy of integrating the village and clans a decade ago. He encouraged intermarriage between the Senju clan and commoner ninja, breaking up the clan and integrating them into the village.
Now, the Senju compound was home to only a few main branch families and some of the old, weak, and sick who remained from the Warring States Period.
Tsunade pushed open the door and entered one of the houses.
"Grandma Mito, I'm home!"
Hearing the noise, a red-haired woman with her hair in buns came out and hugged the little Tsunade who had thrown herself into her arms.
Although she was called "Grandma," Mito Uzumaki looked very young. Her skin was as smooth as jade, and she appeared to be in her early twenties. The diamond-shaped mark on her forehead gave her a unique charm.
Tsunade's mother was currently pregnant and couldn't take care of her, so Tsunade had been living with Mito Uzumaki.
"Little Tsunade, did you meet anyone interesting at school today?"
Holding Tsunade, Mito walked into the inner room. The table was already set with a delicious-looking meal, clearly Mito's own cooking.
Gently placing Tsunade on a chair, Mito sat on the other side and smilingly served her some food.
"School was boring, not much fun. But Grandma Mito, I think I found a genius."
Tsunade took a bite of a fried chicken leg and answered Mito's question while chewing.
Mito smiled as she watched Tsunade eat, unsurprised by her answer. She had seen too many geniuses in her life. There was Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha before, and later, forbidden jutsu masters like Tobirama Senju. It was hard for any "genius" to truly impress her.
But since it was little Tsunade who said it, Mito played along.
"Oh? What kind of genius? Is he as much of a genius as our little Tsunade?"
Tsunade swallowed the chicken in her mouth, scratched her head, and organized her thoughts.
"He's probably from a commoner ninja family, but he understood the academy textbooks after just one read. He can use basic sealing and genjutsu techniques casually. I'm sure the three basic academy jutsu are no problem for him either."
Mito was slightly surprised. "The three basic jutsu are simple enough, but he learned complex things like sealing jutsu after just one look?"
"Yeah. He pressed his palm on my shoulder, and my chakra immediately stopped flowing. I couldn't move my body at all; I was completely paralyzed."
Tsunade nodded with a serious expression.
"Is that so? He does sound like a very talented young man. Why don't you bring him here for me to see one day? If he's a good person, I could teach him a few things."
Mito smiled and patted Tsunade's head. As the perfect Jinchuriki of the Nine-Tails, she possessed the ability to sense malice. If he was indeed an outstanding young talent in the village who hadn't been discovered yet, she wouldn't mind helping him out.
Tsunade nodded seriously. The village was her grandfather's most precious creation, and she had long considered it a part of her home. If there were any outstanding talents in the village, she would do her best to help them.
Elsewhere, An Yan had made himself a large bowl of ramen with two eggs. As he was eating, he suddenly noticed his attribute panel flashing continuously. His reputation was increasing and had already broken one hundred.
An Yan quickly figured out what was happening. It was likely that his classmates, while having dinner with their families after school, had mentioned him when talking about their day. After all, he was the only one in the class who had declared he wanted to become Hokage. It was a natural way to gain a wave of reputation.
In fact, that wasn't the only source. Teachers also talked about students among themselves, and a list of the new students' dreams and aspirations was compiled and submitted to the Hokage's office.
Whatever the reason, he had enough reputation to make a wish.
An Yan immediately clicked on the system panel and chose to start the wish. After a CG animation of a shooting star streaking across the sky, a card with a picture of a bow and arrow appeared on the system panel.

An Yan took a moment to absorb it all. He felt that if he combined his bow proficiency with chakra, he should have no problem dealing with a few low- to mid-level ninja. Of course, that was assuming he could ambush them. In a face-to-face fight, everyone knows what happens when an archer is cornered by an assassin.
