That afternoon is always in the colour of strawberry ice cream in my memory .
The front lawn of our house used to have chrysanthemum , roses or sometimes sunflowers cause my mother used to say that flowers give the house the best colour.
" Hold on ," there was this little boy , who was just nine but he was already a gentleman at his age , he was treating the cut on my palm after I had fallen down on the grass trying to run after him .
" This is going to hurt ," I was so scared back then . I was probably five or had just turned six .
" Not if I am doing it for you ," he said confidently.
The boy's words were like magic , it really did not hurt back then .
" Liam, wow !," I had been over the moon for a second and then I had frozen ," Well , next time , surely , it will hurt ."
" You just got into an accident and you are already thinking about next time you get into another one ?," Liam had shaken his head .
I had wrapped my arms around him and said ," Then can you take care of my cuts forever ? Please , please ?"
In my memories he had been smiling .
The smile had never changed , even if a decade and a half had passed .
Liam Anderson still had his dazzling smile that would brighten up the whole room .
So maybe it was not him , it was me , afterall . Since after all this years , I just felt empty and cold when I looked at him .
I still tried to master up my professional smile , not letting my voice tremble when I asked him ," Mr. Anderson , the audience today wants to know how the shooting is going on with Mira Palmer ."
The audience were bubbling with excitement, his fans screamed his name - some sounded heartbroken and others were saying something about how they supported whoever Liam liked .
Liam dipped his head down , there was a shy smile in his face ," Well , it is my third drama series and the first series as the lead actor , I am learning so many things from Ms Palmer ."
My heart beat rose , I knew that I was doing something stupid but I couldn't help it . I put down the script and asked ," You know that , we are not really asking for the drama shooting , rather something deeper ."
For a moment , annnoyance flashed in his eyes but he was quick to recover ," Yes , my agency will talk about it soon , tonight at eleven at the live stream . I hope my fans who have been my family and best friends for so many years still support my decision."
The audience's voice rose and rose until it was defeaning my ears . It was so chaotic that the director had to shout a ' cut '
I took up the mic and smiled at camera ," Ladies and Gentle, you are watching ' Tea with an idol ' , and I am your host Autumn Dane . Tonight let's give it up for Liam Anderson , leader and singer of your favourite idol group 'Sweet Hell ' , I hope you stay tuned cause we are getting back after just a short break , this show is being sponsored by-"
Rest of the shooting was in a daze .
I just followed the script , smiled and nodded and acted surprised when I really just wanted to go home and sleep for the rest of the afternoon .
It was a relief when we ended , all that was left was meet and greet with some Liam's fans .
And I was not really needed there .
So I went to backstage to wash up .
I picked up a call while trying to untangle the pins from my hair .
" Autumn, are you finished ? "
" Yes , how about the others , are they asleep ?"
" No , they are waiting for you ."
" Just tell them to go to sleep , Summer ."
Truthfully , her name was not Summer , she had this beautiful name Rihanna and my name wasn't even Autumn .
It was Julia .
But after I had debuted into our idol group ' Four Seasons ' , our agency had kind of forced us to change our names officially to match the vibe .
Julia was forgotten like that .
It took more effort to get out of the dress and makeup , than it had taken to put up .
Leaving and letting of this things were always hard , I guessed .
As I was walking out of the building , I heard a familiar voice behind me . Without even turning back , I knew that it was him , Liam Anderson.
" You are not coming home again ?"
I took a second to gather myself and turned to look at him . He was partially hiding behind a pillar , his back was turned at me , but I knew that he was talking to me .
Truthfully,we were not allowed to talk outside like this .
Even thought his back was turned at me ,and I had brought out my phone to my ear ,pretending that I was in a call .
" I am staying with the girls ,in the dorm ."
" For how long ?"
Did he really expect me to answer that ?
I walked away angrily . We were in the public , he would not dare to stop me anyway .
My phone rang and I jumped .
It was Liam's number .
I sighed and pressed the green icon .
" I asked you something, didn't I ?," he sounded annoyed. Huh ??
" And I am allowed to not answer ."
" Who allowed you to not answer ?"
" Me and myself ."
I cut off the phone .
There .
It was not like we had signed some slavery agreement where he had the right to put me on a lease or whatever .
The phone rang again .
For a second I thought about turning it off .
Still , out of minimal courtesy I picked it up ," Again ? What now ?"
" Who taught you to talk to your husband like that ."
I cut off the phone again .
So much of him being the husband, when our marriage was meaningless for last four years .
