Chapter 1 - A night with Dr Rivers

"Be careful with me, hottie. It's my first time."

That was the last thing she remembered saying before it all went blurry.

But at her current state, Sienna needed no one to tell her how wild the previous night had been. She was aching all over, sore like she'd been run over countless times. Her clothes were scattered in different conner of the room and bright red marks decorated sensitive parts of her body. To worsen it all, the spot between her thighs throbbed with a pain that made walking an exercise in torture.

"Damn you, Sienna. How could you be so stupid?"

She had given her first time to a stranger, a stranger whose face she couldn't even remember.

To top it all off, he was nowhere to be found.

But right now, she had no time to care about that. Pushing her sore body out of bed, she slipped on her rumpled gown. It had suffered a tear along the side, proof of just how rough the other person had been. She removed the brooch pinned to the fabric and used it to secure the tear in place. Her fingers raked through messy hair, arranging it strategically to at least cover the marks on her neck then she slipped on her shoes and hurried out.

She didn't even have her phone or her bag.

Last night.

Last night, she was supposed to meet with a very important patient with a supposedly rare condition, specifically referred to her by the prime minister. And as Dr. Sienna Rivers, one of the greatest doctors in the world, she arrived alone without her personal bodyguard, full of excitement about what this rare disease might be.

But halfway through the meeting, she realized the patient was no patient at all.

He had drugged her coffee. Played his cards so well that she hadn't noticed. Or maybe she'd been too excited about his supposed condition to even care about the safety of what she was taking in.

Luckily, she'd realized early, before the drug fully kicked in, and immediately excused herself. As if understanding her intention to run, he'd sent his men after her.

Desperation drove her into one of the unlocked rooms on the lower floor, right as the drug began to take hold.

And right at that moment, she'd come face to face with an Adonis walking out of the shower.

She really lost her mind.

How could she not have even the slightest self-restraint?

Her face burned redder the more she thought about it. Shielding herself with her hand, she hurried out, terrified of being recognized, and flagged a taxi. Someone recognizing her in this state would be devastating for her beautiful, well-built reputation.

She didn't notice the pair of azure-green eyes watching from the window of the room she'd just fled.

A man with godlike features stood there, someone who looked like he'd escaped from heaven. Messy bright blonde hair that could easily be mistaken for white. A well-built, slim body. A perfect jawline. Unimaginable height. Judging from his appearance, he wasn't from this side of the world. He looked like an Eastern god.

He was well-dressed in a tailored black and white fit, the first two buttons undone and sleeves rolled up. He looked away from the window as Sienna's cab rolled away, then glanced back at the messy room, his eyes lingering longer on the red stain on the bed.

"Master, your orders"

His subordinate, an equally tall man, though a little shorter, dressed entirely in black with a low cut, waited patiently.

They had come specifically to see Sienna Rivers because his master had a strange ailment. An ailment that made him go mad like a raging beast every once in a while. It got so bad that he could kill several people with his bare hands within minutes in that state. There were no warnings; it simply began. No doctor could identify what was wrong. And as a result, despite his master's status in the country they came from, no one had ever seen him in public; people only knew he existed. He had always been locked away.

In fact, this trip, he'd sneaked out after planning his escape for months.

"Find a way, anyway possible to set up a meeting between me and her," the master said, his voice seeming to hold a more desperate edge than it had ever been before. His voice was smooth, so melodic it could make a person drunk.

"Yes, Master."

And with that, the subordinate left.

Isaac remained where he stood. What happened the previous night still felt unbelievable. Surreal. It was a dream he never thought attainable, only to happen unexpectedly in a single night with the doctor he came looking for; he wouldn't have even known her identity if his subordinate hadn't suddenly barged in earlier that morning and identified her.

Sneaking out here like this meant he could do anything he wanted. Go out and really feel the world for real, not virtually or through books, like it had been his entire life. He wanted to go out and do so many things. Things that had never left his dreams.

But he didn't dare.

He couldn't risk going nuts and hurting people again losing his "virginity" though accidentally was the height of what he could get.

All his life, he'd been regarded as a terrifying monster. Even his mother detested him to the core and had attempted to kill him several times before, like she couldn't accept that a monster like him came out of her. He was only still alive because his father protected him and because he possessed the intelligence his father needed to successfully rule a country.

He had no place in this world if he didn't get cured.
