[System binding to host...]

[Detecting host has already died, automatically initiating transmigration...]

[Host has transmigrated to the source world of Saint Seiya, during the SS era!]

[Error...]

[Error...]

[Transmigration timeline error, initiating repair...]

[Repair complete!]

[Issuing compensation, compensation issued, system will automatically dissipate!]

"..."

The shrill system voice echoed in his ears.

Alistair felt his consciousness growing increasingly hazy, unable to make out the words that followed.

As time passed, he didn't know how long it had been.

Alistair regained awareness.

"I remember..."

"I was leaving a convention, and then I got hit by a truck?"

"So, does that mean I'm dead?"

"What was that I heard right before dying?"

Alistair opened his eyes in confusion, his gaze blank, filled with bewilderment.

"I'm already dead?"

Alistair struggled to sit up, surveying his surroundings, and felt a chill settle in his heart.

A dim sky, emitting an eerie dark purple glow.

A crimson earth, shattered and broken, with chunks of rock still crumbling away.

"Hell?"

"The afterlife?"

"Or the Underworld?"

Alistair wasn't sure exactly where he had ended up.

[Detecting host vital signs restored, soul and will awakened!]

[System issuing compensation package!]

[System will automatically dissipate!]

[Compensation issuing...]

[Compensation issued, system dissipating...]

[System fully dissipated. Host, please enjoy your new life!]

"No!"

"Wait!"

"Hold on!"

The system's prompt sounded in Alistair's ears once more, and he hurriedly tried to stop it.

But it was too late.

The system's voice had completely vanished, replaced by three orbs of light floating before his eyes, thoughtfully labeled with numbers 1, 2, and 3.

"I..."

Alistair's head throbbed. What was all this?

"So, I've transmigrated?"

"Where exactly is this?"

"What's going on here?"

Alistair was utterly perplexed. What a mess!

Didn't this lousy system come with a beginner's guide?

"Forget it."

"Thinking about it won't help. Let's check out this compensation package first."

Alistair felt resigned, but life was like that—you had to keep moving forward.

He stepped closer, reached out, and tapped the first orb.

In an instant.

The orb transformed into brilliant light, surging directly into Alistair's mind. A flood of memories and explanations integrated fully into his thoughts.

The massive influx made his head ache, though it wasn't enough to knock him out like some inheritances he'd read about.

About half an hour later.

Alistair shook his head, sat down on the ground, and murmured, "So, I've transmigrated. More precisely, I'm dead."

"And..."

"Isn't this just ridiculous?"

"Who gets pulverized by a truck like that?"

Alistair recalled everything that had happened during his lost memories.

Because the system had bound to him at that exact moment.

The instant the truck hit, he had shattered into dust.

Thinking of that scene made Alistair's mouth twitch, tempted to complain, but he decided against it. No point.

"Beyond that..."

Alistair continued sorting through the memories.

Transmigration was confirmed.

"This is the era of Saint Seiya SS."

"According to the system."

"This is the most original world in the entire Saint Seiya universe."

"Isn't that just like the original story, sequels, and fan creations?"

Alistair muttered, shaking his head, and kept organizing the memories.

"Hmm..."

As he sorted, Alistair's brow furrowed, and he grumbled, "Wait! There's a problem with my transmigration timeline?"

"The current time is after the Holy War has ended, Hades is dead, and the Underworld is shattered."

"The funniest part is."

"I'm right in the middle of the Underworld?"

"Huh?"

Alistair looked up, scanning the surroundings: the dark purple sky, the crimson earth.

Yeah.

This scene screamed Underworld—no one would believe otherwise.

"This place gives off total villain vibes!"

"Never mind, never mind."

"No use overthinking it. On to the second package."

Alistair stood up, rubbing his aching brow from the memory overload, and reached out to tap the second orb.

In an instant!

The second orb turned into radiant light, seamlessly merging into Alistair's body.

This time, however.

Alistair felt no pain. Instead, a mass of pitch-black light began to emerge, gradually forming a seed-like mark that branded itself onto his body, soul, and essence.

The black light started to reshape his form.

"Mmm..."

Alistair instinctively closed his eyes in comfort.

The black light fully integrated into his body.

But it didn't end there.

Quite the opposite.

As the black light faded, strands of it began to spread from Alistair, merging into the ravaged Underworld around him.

Yomotsu Hirasaka, the River Acheron, the Eight Prisons, the Path of the Gods, Elysium...

Everything in the Underworld.

Originally, with Hades' death, it had all fallen into ruin, teetering on the brink of collapse.

Now.

With these strands of black light infusing it, the damaged Underworld repaired itself at a visible pace.

In a short time.

The entire Underworld had returned to its most perfect state, and Alistair slowly opened his eyes.
