' We all know the history of our world right? It's all that we learn from school books. It's also what our grandparents and parents tell us, we have to pay attention to what they tell us, because we know that our past, the past of humanity, was not easy at all.
But do we really know everything about our history? I mean, some things have a lot of gaps. Lucky for you, i can tell you a few things that happened at that time.
'A few years ago, the world was ruled by guilds and not by govenerments learders. Adventurers in these guilds risked their lives fighting monsters to protect the population that lacked powers. Actually speaking like that, it sounds like fairy tale, doesn't it? Everyone lived in peace under the protection of their guilds, and in the history books it is said that all people with powers were annihilated out of nowhere, bringing humanity to the brink of extinction.'
The innocent smile on her face as she told the story touched the host as she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, her sharp, prominent canines glinting in the studio light as she settled into the sofa.
"The gods' blessing always falls on those they deem worthy. You know, I had this friend, she was a sweet person. We were in a very famous guild together, back when monsters roamed the earth. We were unstoppable, and people called us the Hope Trio, or the Hope Trinity—cute names, I know." The cup of coffee steamed in her hand as she sipped it, smiling at the end, and now looking at the host, a hidden regret filling her face along with a trembling smile. "But... This friend of mine was a shadow manipulator, you know. I considered her a sister, and she was so powerful!"
"Wow, she must have been very important to you, right? He even considered her like a sister." The presenter says as she watches the superheroine nod and look at her with sad eyes. "Yes, she was very important to me, but unfortunately, she was corrupted by her own power. One day, she simply decided she would be some weird new goddess of death. It was terrible. She wanted to take the power and place of the god who had blessed her with so much love and consideration..."
The headlights of the cars illuminated the hooded figure in the crosswalk, along with the holographic panels surrounding it, emitting the image of the redhead who haunted her nightmares.
"Everyone knows the concept of a Desstrado, right? A desstrado is someone who committed a crime so heinous, repugnant, and so gruesome... Sorry, if I describe it any further, I might vomit, haha," she says, placing her cup on the small table beside her, the camera now focusing on her face. "It usually involves murder.
Unfortunately, my friend was corrupted because of her dark powers. Maybe her divinity helped her with that. We don't know because the gods are as mysterious as the thoughts of their blessed and cursed ones.
She simply killed everyone she saw before her, and when she was satisfied, a curse fell on the three of us: the curse of eternity, of regeneration. Unfortunately, we were all given to live until the end of time with the gods."
