Ficool

Prologue

"You used to be better than this..."

The smoke left her lips slowly, almost seductively, as she observed the body pinned to the wall of that destroyed building. The shadowy thorns pierced her leg, shoulder, and arm. It was a beautiful sight, the crimson of her blood mingling with the red strands as the other woman let out an emotionless laugh. "You used to be stronger... But now you're nothing but a weak, dirty rat." She sat on some of the rubble of the destruction she'd caused, her claws returning to normal hands. "What a disappointment, Ally."

The stake pierced her stomach, and she was missing one arm, the other disconnected, dangling by a tendon that prevented it from freeing itself.

"Ha, you must be loving this, acting like a hero, earning the respect of these idiots." Blood dripped in liters from her body, as if endless, as she stared at the brunette with a bored expression. "Are you having fun playing superhero? Acting against your own nature? Is it fun pretending to be someone else?" The dangling arm began to move, the damaged tendons beginning to twist until they reconnected, and the muscles slid like liquid back to their original shape. "Well, my regenerative powers won't be delayed just because of minor injuries like these." The hand rose, still slightly disconnected, the bone still shattered. "You've changed a lot... Tell me, was it really that difficult to continue our little game of cat and mouse? But no... You wanted more... Much more than you could have, you're so selfish, Agatha."

"Do you even remember when you found out the truth?"

"When did you finally expose me to those little shit?"

"They worshiped me like I was a GODDESS!"
