Chapter 1 - Episode 1: Mohana and shubham's deal

In the shadowy annals of Bhandap's history, a name was etched in fear and reverence: Mohana. A 250-year-old Daayan, Mohana had mastered the dark art of extending her parasitic existence by draining the life force of her victims. Her beauty and charm were her deadliest weapons, luring men into her web of deceit and destruction.

Years ago, Mohana had ensnared Mridul Rathod, a wealthy businessman, and married him. Together, they had two children, Ansh and Kajal. As Mohana aided her husband in accumulating wealth through dark sorcery, she slowly drained his vitality, leading to his untimely death.

Mridul's sister-in-law, Vedashree Rathod, had grown concerned about the strange occurrences surrounding her family. She sought help from her friend Divya Sharma, a psychic wizardess and a member of the Reevaavanshi, a clan of evil hunters. Divya discovered Mohana's true nature and thwarted her malevolent influence by severing her plait, rendering her powerless.

Mohana escaped into the woods, pursued by Divya, Vedashree, and a mob of villagers. Cornered and enraged, Mohana was set ablaze, but her body turned to stone. Divya sealed Mohana in a coffin within a temple, safeguarded by powerful mantras. Shortly after, Divya vanished into thin air, leaving behind only whispers of her fate.

Vedashree and her husband, Shekhar Rathod, adopted Ansh and Kajal, hoping to give them a normal life. The legend of Mohana's downfall was whispered around campfires, and the villagers believed that as long as she remained imprisoned, the town would be safe. But the darkness that lurked within the temple walls was patient, waiting for the perfect moment to strike...

The years passed, but the memory of Mohana's malevolent gaze lingered, a constant reminder of the evil that lay dormant, waiting to unleash its wrath once more. For Mohana was no ordinary Daayan; she was an Ekayaan, a powerful and unique entity with abilities beyond the understanding of mortal men.

Mohana, the powerful Ekayaan, had been dormant for years, her malevolent energy contained. But she began to stir, plotting her return. Her target was her own son, Ansh, a half-demon (Daavansh). Mohana's hatred for Ansh drove her to seek his destruction.

Ansh, however, was not alone. He had married Piya, a divine being (Daivik) who stood by his side, determined to protect him from Mohana's wrath. Together, they faced Mohana's attacks, and Piya's powers proved to be a strong defense.

In the end, Ansh and Piya managed to overpower Mohana, and they thought they had finally defeated her. They trapped her in a pit of fire, and as the flames consumed her body, they shared a moment of relief.

But Mohana's Fate...

Unbeknownst to Ansh and Piya, Mohana's story was far from over. She somehow survived the flames and found herself trapped in an abandoned cave deep within the village of Bhandap. For years, she lay in darkness, her body regenerating, her powers slowly returning. Her hatred for Ansh and Piya burned brighter than ever, and she began to plot her revenge.

The cave became her prison, and she waited patiently for the perfect moment to escape. The darkness that had seemed to have been vanquished had only been delayed.

Meanwhile in the village of Bhandap, the legend of Mohana had become a distant memory, a myth whispered around campfires and in hushed tones. The villagers believed that the story of the powerful Ekayaan was just a tale, a fantasy created to scare children into behaving.

However, a peculiar rumor had taken root among the villagers. They whispered that anyone brave enough to venture into the abandoned cave where Mohana was said to be trapped would have their deepest wish fulfilled. The promise of a granted wish drew curious glances toward the cave, but fear and doubt kept the villagers at bay.

No one dared to test the legend, and the cave remained untouched, shrouded in an aura of mystery and fear. The villagers went about their lives, working in the fields and tending to their homes, while the cave stood as a silent sentinel, waiting...

Until one day, Shubham, a young man in his thirties, stood before the cave entrance, his heart racing with anticipation and fear. He held a fire torch high, casting flickering shadows on the rocks. With a deep breath, he stepped forward, and the cave's entrance creaked open, swallowing him into its darkness.

As he ventured deeper into the cave, Shubham's hand instinctively went to the book of incantations in his pocket. An old lady had given it to him years ago, telling him it held the secrets of the ancient ones. Shubham had always been skeptical, but something about the book felt... right.

He opened the book, and the pages crackled with age. Shubham's fingers traced the words, and he began to recite the incantation:

"Ekayaan Daayan Mohana, I call upon you..."

The words echoed off the cave walls, and the air seemed to vibrate with an otherworldly energy. Shubham's voice grew louder, more confident, as he called out to the witch. The darkness around him began to stir, and he felt a presence awakening, responding to his summons...

Shubham repeated the words, his voice growing more urgent: "Ekayaan Daayan Mohana, I call upon you... Ekayaan Daayan Mohana, I call upon you..." But nothing happened. No sparks flew, no darkness swirled, no eerie laughter echoed through the cave. Shubham's frustration mounted. "It's indeed a myth," he muttered to himself, turning to leave.

As he took his first step back, he froze. A faint jingling sound caught his attention. Anklets, delicate and dainty, seemed to be moving, the metal chiming softly. Shubham's heart skipped a beat. The sound was coming from deeper within the cave, growing louder with each passing moment...

Shubham turned around, and his eyes widened in shock and terror. Before him stood Mohana, but not as he had expected. She was chained to the wall, her body twisted in an unnatural pose. Her feet were reversed, as if they had been turned backward, and her long braid snaked down like a living entity, its tip hissing softly as it slid across the stone floor.

Mohana's eyes, a piercing yellow, locked onto Shubham, and he felt a chill run down his spine. Her gaze seemed to bore into his soul, and Shubham's breath caught in his throat. He tried to step back, but his legs felt rooted to the spot.

The gecko-like creature that was Mohana began to climb the wall, her movements fluid and unnatural. Shubham's mind reeled as he struggled to comprehend what he was seeing. The anklets he had heard jingling were now visible, adorning Mohana's feet as she moved with an otherworldly grace.

Shubham's fear turned to paralysis, and he stood frozen, unable to look away from the creature that was Mohana. The air seemed to thicken, heavy with an eerie presence, as Mohana's eyes never left Shubham's face...

Mohana's voice was low and husky, with a hint of sweetness that sent shivers down Shubham's spine. "Fear not, Babu," she said, her yellow eyes gleaming in the dim light of the cave. "I'm not going to harm you. But I can surely fulfill your wish, the one that brought you to this place."

Shubham's fear didn't dissipate, but a spark of hope ignited within him. He had come to the cave seeking a wish, and now the legendary Ekayaan Daayan was offering to grant it to him. But at what cost? Shubham's mind racing, he hesitated, unsure of what to do next...

Mohana's gaze seemed to bore into Shubham's soul as she asked, "What is it that you wish for, Babu? Speak your heart's desire, and I shall grant it to you."

Shubham's thoughts flashed back to his family's struggles, the endless days of poverty and hardship. He remembered the worried looks on his parents' faces, the sacrifices they made for him and his siblings. His voice firm, he replied, "Wealth. Long-lasting wealth. I want my family to never suffer again. I want us to be prosperous, to live a life free from financial worries."

Mohana's expression remained unreadable, but a hint of a smile played on her lips. "Very well, Babu," she said. "Your wish is granted. But remember, wealth comes with its own set of consequences. Are you prepared to face them?"

No,shubham recalls his and his pregnant wife suffering, his mother suffering and his brother and sister-in-law suffering

Shubham's determination was evident in his voice as he said, "I'm ready to give anything in return. Just grant my family this wealth and prosperity."

Mohana's smile grew wider, and her eyes gleamed with an otherworldly light. "Your unborn children," she said, her voice low and husky.

Shubham's eyes widened in shock, and he felt as though he had been punched in the gut. "What do you mean?" he stammered.

Mohana's gaze seemed to bore into Shubham's soul. "Your wife is currently pregnant with twins," she said. "I want those children the day they complete 3 years. Do you accept?"

Shubham's mind reeled as he processed Mohana's words. He thought of his unborn children, whom he had yet to meet, and the thought of giving them up was unbearable. Yet, the promise of wealth and prosperity for his family hung in the balance. He paused, torn, before finally nodding his head. "I accept," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.

Mohana's eyes gleamed with an otherworldly intensity as she raised her hand, and Shubham felt a strange energy emanating from her. She drew a small, glowing symbol on her palm, and a droplet of blood welled up. "By the ancient powers that bind us," she said, "I seal this covenant with you, Babu."

With a swift motion, Mohana drew Shubham's hand to hers, and he felt a sharp prick as her nail grazed his skin. A drop of his blood mingled with hers, and he felt a jolt of energy run through his body. "This covenant is sealed in blood," Mohana said, her voice low and menacing. "If you fail to keep your end of the bargain, you will die instantly. The children will be mine, and you will not be able to renege on this deal."

Shubham felt a chill run down his spine as he nodded, his mind reeling with the weight of the promise he had made. The blood covenant seemed to pulsate with a dark energy, binding him to Mohana's will.

Mohana's smile returned, and she nodded her head. "Your family will be amongst the top richest families in India, Babu. You will want for nothing. Wealth, influence, power – all will be yours. But remember, the price of this prosperity is the twins. You must hand them over to me when they turn 3 years old. Do not try to renege on this deal."

With a wave of her hand, the air seemed to shimmer, and Shubham felt a strange sensation, as if the very fabric of reality was shifting to accommodate the covenant. Mohana vanished as suddenly as she appeared, leaving Shubham feeling dazed and wondering if the entire encounter had been a dream...

Shubham returned home, his mind reeling with the weight of the secret he now carried. He kept his deal with Mohana hidden from everyone, including his wife Swarna, who was still struggling with her pregnancy and the daily hardships they faced. Shubham's heart ached as he thought about the promise he had made, but he pushed the thoughts aside, determined to provide a better life for his family.

As he went about his daily routine, Shubham couldn't shake off the feeling that his life was forever changed. He knew that soon, their fortunes would change, but at what cost? Only time would tell. For now, he kept his secret locked away, hidden behind a mask of normalcy, as he went about his life with Swarna and the rest of his family.

After three years, the Kashyap family had transformed from a struggling household to one of opulence and luxury. Their once modest life had given way to a life of filthy riches, with Shubham's business ventures flourishing beyond anyone's expectations. The family resided in their grand mansion in the village, surrounded by the trappings of wealth. But on the night of Sahir and Mihir's 3rd birthday, a dark fate awaited them.

Unbeknownst to anyone, Shubham had made a pact with Mohana, a powerful Daayan, to ensure his family's prosperity. As the twins' birthday celebrations came to a close, Shubham secretly took Sahir and Mihir to the cave, unbeknownst to him, Sapna and Moti Baa were trailing him. They watched in horror as Shubham entered the cave with the children, and Moti Baa's eyes widened in realization – their wealth came at a terrible cost.

Without hesitation, Moti Baa and Sapna rushed to the home of Vedika, a 25-year-old Daayan slayer and Sapna's best friend. Vedika listened intently, her expression grim, before nodding resolutely. Together, the trio set out for the cave, determined to rescue the twins.

Meanwhile, within the cave, Mohana and her Daayan minions performed a dark ritual, placing Sahir and Mihir within a magic circle. Mohana fed them her blood, and the twins' innocent eyes turned a glowing red, their nails growing long and sharp. They began to transform, their innocent nature slowly being consumed by the dark power coursing through their veins.

Mohana's eyes gleamed with triumph as she gazed upon the twins, now bearing the mark of her dark power. "The children now have the blood of a Daayan," she declared, her voice dripping with malevolence. "They are mine, my Davanshes, and they will be the key to my freedom."

With a wave of her hand, Mohana summoned a dark energy that enveloped the twins, binding them to her will. Sahir and Mihir, once innocent and pure, now stood as vessels for Mohana's dark ambitions, their red eyes glowing with an otherworldly power.

Mohana's laughter echoed through the cave, a chilling sound that sent shivers down the spines of those who would soon arrive to challenge her. The fate of the twins, and the entire Kashyap family, hung in the balance, as Mohana's plans for power and freedom began to unfold.

Shubham watched in horror as his sons, Sahir and Mihir, transformed before his eyes, their innocent faces now twisted by the dark power that coursed through their veins. He saw the red glow in their eyes, the long nails that now tipped their fingers, and the eerie aura that surrounded them.

Mohana's declaration that they were now her Davanshes, bound to her will, struck fear into Shubham's heart. He realized too late the true horror of the pact he had made, and the terrible price he had paid for wealth and prosperity.

Paralyzed by fear and guilt, Shubham stood frozen, unable to move or speak as Mohana claimed his sons as her own. The weight of his mistake crushed him, and he knew he had to find a way to undo the damage, but for now, he was trapped in his own nightmare.

Just as the ritual to turn the twins into Purn Davanshes was about to be completed, a divine arrow landed in the magic circle, shattering its magical effect. The Daayan minions let out a blood-curdling screech as they were affected by the arrow's power, and they flew away in disarray.

Vedika, Sapna, and Moti Baa emerged from the shadows, their faces set with determination. Vedika, the Daayan slayer, stood tall, the bow still smoking from the divine arrow she had fired.

Mohana's eyes blazed with fury as she glared at Vedika. "You dare to interfere?" she spat. "You will pay a terrible price for your meddling, Vedika. A price that will be greater than you can imagine." Her voice dripped with menace.

Sapna quickly grabbed her sons, holding them tightly as Mohana's eyes flashed with anger. "They are mine," Mohana hissed, her voice venomous. "My Davanshes, bound to me forever."

Sapna's face contorted in rage as she scolded Mohana. "How dare you claim my children as yours?" she spat. Mohana's smile was cold and calculating. "I've already cast my evil eyes on them," she said. "No matter where they go, my Nazar will always be on them. They will belong to me, forever."

Mohana's gaze shifted to Vedika, her eyes burning with hatred. "You think you've won, Vedika?" she sneered. "A Daayan always keeps her promise. I'm coming for you." Vedika stood firm, her eyes locked on Mohana.

With a swift motion, Vedika poured holy water on Mohana, who let out a blood-curdling scream as she flew back into the darkness.

As Mohana disappeared, Shubham's face contorted in agony. He felt a suffocating weight crushing him, his breath coming in ragged gasps. "No...I shouldn't have...," he whispered, his eyes wide with fear.

Moti Baa and Sapna cried out in horror as Shubham fell to the ground, his body convulsing. "Shubham! No!" Sapna screamed, rushing to his side.

With his last breath, Shubham whispered, "I'm sorry...Forgive me..." His eyes locked on Sapna and Moti Baa, filled with regret and sorrow, before his body went limp, and he lay still. Moti Baa and Sapna wailed in grief, holding Shubham's lifeless body as the reality of their loss sunk in.

The Kashyap family, unable to bear the painful memories and the loss of Shubham, decided to leave Bandhap, hoping to start anew and escape the darkness that had consumed their lives. The village, once a symbol of their prosperity, now held only sorrow and tragedy. With heavy hearts, they packed their belongings and bid farewell to the place that had brought them both wealth and woe, seeking a fresh start and a chance to rebuild their shattered lives.
