Aira slowly raised her head."...Snowball?"
Snowball's ears twitched.
Before he could answer, a shadow suddenly moved behind them.
Aira froze. Slowly, she turned her head.
A tall figure stood several steps away. He was wearing dark armor from head to toe, with a long black cloak hanging behind him. His pale face was almost unnaturally beautiful, but his crimson eyes immediately made Aira's stomach drop.
A vampire. And judging from the armor and the sword hanging at his waist...
A vampire knight.
The knight stared at them suspiciously. "Who are you, and what are you doing here?"
Aira's mouth opened. Nothing came out. She looked at Snowball. Snowball looked back at her. Neither of them moved.
"...We have a problem!" Aira whispered. Then she leaned closer to Snowball. "What do you think we need to do?"
Snowball's expression remained completely calm.
"Think of something." Aira stared at him. "You're the one who brought us here!"
