Kraaaaaww!!!!
Lona knew instantly that this Raven wasn't ordinary. He tried as much as possible to avoid it but it always finds a way to get closer. Either it appears by his side or in front of him.
Lona was cornered this time, there was no way he could escape the Raven. Funny enough, this Raven didn't act with the intention of harming Lona.
Lona blinked, at the same time, the Raven blinked too. A lot of body movement he made, the Raven replicated it. "Don't tell me we are the same"
He couldn't believe it but there was no time to confirm. He got up, standing before the door again and this time, he wasn't ready to back down.
"You must open to me" it was now a do or die. "Kraaaaw!!" The Raven flew up to his shoulders, giving him hope and boosting his latent strength without him knowing.
He pushed, with all his might and will, it didn't move. Right when he was about to give up, the door finally made a deafening sound as it brushed against the ground, shaking the foundation.
"Yes!!!" With joy filling his heart, he continued pushing as the pathway of Gluttony slowly opened for him.
"I did it, I am not so weak after all!!!"
Just one step into the door, he found himself back in the middle of the girls who looked at him with much expectations.
Now he felt different and he could tell, he looked at himself like he was in a strange body.
"Why do I feel light and different?" He asked while touching his body once again.
"You have started seeing changes even when we aren't done" Lona was ready to scream after hearing that.
"What do you mean we aren't done?"
They all laughed at him. Now Lona too became pale, his skin looking really white. His stomach began to rumble, everyone heard it.
"Take this, it's fresh Blood" Daisy handed over to him a cup filled with blood. Lona didn't even resist, he just grabbed it and gulped it till it's last drop.
"You will also need this" Zaria threw a glowing stone towards him. Before it reached his hands, it froze right in front of Lona. Energy began to pulse through his veins.
"What is happening?" He couldn't move, he just stared at the luminous Stone which began to increase its brightness by each passing second.
"That is a core, with it you will be able to awaken your sin beast and also your main sin." Zaria answered, she really enjoyed watching this.
Without Doubt, he knew that the core belongs to the woman who raised him, thinking of it only made him heartbroken and filled with sorrow. The ground around Lona began to glow, forming a strange symbol on the ground beneath him.
"Now Lona, let me formally introduce myself again, this time, in full." The rest of the girl smiled as they knew what would occur next.
"I am Delilah Blackwood, First Daughter to Henry Blackwood. 3rd pathway: Envy. I am the Peacock sin of Pride. Tell me who you are?" At the mention of the Peacock Sin, a large beast appeared beside her.
It looks like a peacock, dazzling in Light and Glory. Everyone felt the Pressure. Delilah's Black eyes now glowed faint Yellow. The yellow featured beast raised its wings up high, showing how beautiful it was. As beautiful as it looked, Lona knew that it was very dangerous.
Now it was Lona's turn to speak, but he didn't know what there was to say.
"Ummm.... I am Lona Blackwood, Seventh child and only son of Henry Blackwood....." His eyes now began to glow, the light around him began to intensify. He just opened his mouth and words poured out.
"..... 7th pathway: Gluttony. I am the... Bear sin of Sloth..." He didn't know when he said that but moments after it was heard, blinding like struck from beneath him.
Pain filled his left arm on a concentrated point. He screamed but no one came to intervene. He looked just to see a tattoo slowly appearing on his left shoulder. A tattoo drawn in blood.
At the same time something began to emerge from the ground, its appearance startled Lona as it laid on the ground motionless.
"Is that a... Cat?" Even in pain, Lona stared in confusion. His arm hurts like hell but what he saw numb the pain for some minutes.
This cat-like creature was as black as the night, with its ankles and tip of its tail covered in white. Its ears and tail released something like flames. Still black.
The sight of it made Lona remember the last vision under that dried tree. His reflection back then definitely had some similarities with this sleeping cat.
His arm stopped hurting but he cared less. He looked at the creature, lying comfortable beside him. All the glowing lights were seen no more, only the peacock shone throughout the room.
"Ohh look at that, it's cute." Artemis wanted to touch it but Zinna stopped her.
"You are a Bear sin. Why are you having a cat beast beside you?" Elizabeth asked like Lona had the answer.
Delilah too looked puzzled. "Your tattoo is that of a bear. A Bear symbol."
Lona looked at his left arm which was hurting and was amazed to find a. Glowing red tattoo that looks like a Bear.
"How are you feeling?" Daisy asked with so much worry on her face. The moment she made contact with him, his body reacted to how cold her skin was, sending a tingling sensation to the two of them.
"I am fine now" their eyes locked, no one wanted to let go first. It was at this moment that Lona Realized that she was
Heterochromic-- one eye red the other pink. Without closer look, you won't get to notice.
"You are now Heterochromic like me, one of your eyes has a slight blue in it. You still have Violet eyes but in a closer look, the left is different from the right." Daisy giggles making everyone irritated at once.
"Wait... How do you know what I was thinking?" Lona unconsciously took some steps back. His eyes still fixed on Daisy and the way her Antennae moved.
"Sorry If I took you by surprise, I am the Goat sin of Lust. I could read the mind of anyone I touch."
Lona suddenly felt drawn to her after she mentioned her sin. This girl was really beautiful, after her comes Delilah.
She had grey curly hair which complimented her very beauty. She looked very different from the rest.
"Did you say, sin of Lust?" This question made Daisy blush. She couldn't answer because it felt so embarrassing. She began to imagine Lona seeing her as a pervert.
"I know a beast that could solve this mystery" the glowing peacock beside Delilah finally spoke up. Artemis knew who it was speaking of.
"That Greedy Fox!!!" Artemis murmured, Farrowing her brow towards Zaria.
"They can talk?" Everything seemed to marvel Lona. Nothing here was close to ordinary.
"Yes and also, they are Ghosts people can't see them. Only if we choose to let them see" Daisy explained.
"Tell me, how am i having sloth but gaining energy from Gluttony." Lona asked the eldest amongst them. She prove to have more information and is good at explaining.
"Each of the seven children represent the seven deadly sins, this isn't part of the sinful pathway. It's just part of our fate. If we could follow the Righteous pathway, we would still have a sin attached to us. I am proud and all I do is act like one no matter how hard I try to resist. This isn't based on power, it's just based on who you are. Everyone has identified their sins. Only yours remained and we knew that it would be Sloth."
Lona understood it within seconds. Right above Zaria, cute fox appeared with so much aura, startling Lona for a second.
"He looks promising" those were its words to Lona as he flew around Zaria.
"So tell me, what is wrong with his contract?" Zaria asked with a still face, hoping to get something good.
"Nothing much, he couldn't sign a contract with the main sinful Beast so instead he made the deal with the next beast of sloth, which is the Fury Cat." The grey nine tailed Fox proclaimed.
As its foot touched the ground, its size began to increase until it became two times a matured lion.
"Why did it happen that way. i believe you should know" Artemis asked then a snake appeared beside her.
The Greedy Fox was definitely the one with all the possible Knowledge because of how Greedy it was. Wanting to possess every valuable thing meant wanting even the slightest knowledge. Everyone at some point envied having a kind of Sinful beast like that.
"I will say it's kind of Normal, the bear was too lazy to sign contract with him so the cat filled his place. Or maybe the boy is too weak to stand with the Bear." The fox said the only two possible things that occurred and he was right either way.
Lona hated the way the Fox refered to him as a boy but he paid no attention to it.
"Will this cat keep sleeping forever?"
