Chapter 2
I'll be 19 tomorrow but.. you're still 17, Jay.
"Love!"
I looked at Jay in surprise but tears that I couldn't stop from falling from my eyes immediately fell down but Jay immediately wiped it away. I knew he didn't want to see me cry.
"I-I miss you" my voice was broken.
"I'm fine, okay? I love you so much, Denise"
"Jay, I'm sorry. I love you so much too!" I immediately hugged him while tears were falling down my eyes and after a while he hugged me back.
"Jay, are you going to pick me up?" I asked after I let go of him from the hug while frowning while looking at him. He was smiling and his face looked bright. His clothes were dazzling and white.
"No, love" he said with his face bright as he smiled.
"Why not?" I asked jokingly, frowning.
"Auntie will be mad at me." he said and I only saw his low laugh now. "I love you so much, Denise. Don't eat foods with peanuts, okay?" he said because I'm allergic to peanuts and I often forget about it so I almost fainted.
I nodded while crying again and ran towards Jay and immediately hugged him tightly. He hugged me back and ruffled my hair.
I started to cry as he slowly disappeared in front of me. "J-Jay!" Before that, I saw his sad face as he looked at me as if he was in pain as he looked into my eyes.
"Jay!" I couldn't stop my tears from falling one after another.
J-Jay sorry.
"MAY, you take care of mom and dad" I said even though I was already feeling dizzy and I just ignored it. I felt so hot and my eyes were watering. I felt like I was going to faint.
"Are you sure, ma'am, that you're okay? Can't you just stop going?" May asked but I just nodded.
After getting into the car, my driver immediately started the car.
"That one there must be angry with the world!" I shouted along with other people's screams. Two events that Drizo and I had done.
I was surprised when for the fourth time someone pulled my hair again and pulled me because of Drizo.
"Is this the one you think Drizo's girlfriend would be if she touched him?!" said a woman while looking at me and her friends with a serious expression.
"Is this the flirtatious woman who is so close to Drizo and she feels like she's Drizo's girlfriend?" said one of the women while looking at me and her not-so-fresh companions with a wicked look.
"Hey, why are you bringing vinegar to an event like this?!" I said and covered my nose and turned away but he pulled my long hair that was loose again which I also pulled on her scalp hard and pulled her back hard again and I was about to cut it when Rey suddenly stopped me. This is another issue. Rey accidentally grabbed my hand.
"You're so hot, your body looked like it's on fire!" she shouted as I turned around and walked towards the car.
I stopped walking again and stopped at the woman with her thick black eyebrows clearly drawn and thick red lipstick. "Go wash yourself, vinegar!" I shouted back. Before turning around, I saw her nose smoke and she didn't say anything and looked so embarrassed that I rolled my eyes and got into the car.
"THEY say it's 6 feet" Cris said while looking at one of the resort's pools which was so blue and the water was so clean. We are now at a resort in Benguet after their event and we have already decided to go on vacation.
I went inside the room first.
The resort is really beautiful and the water must be cold because it's already night and I'm still freezing! Good thing I wore a jacket earlier at their event. I don't think I can handle the cold especially since I'm still wearing a two-piece. When you look beautiful but you have a fever.
I was surprised when suddenly someone covered my eyes with sweaty hands that smelled like they were holding barbeques. "H-Hey, what's up?!"
I was surprised when whoever was blindfolding me let go of me and pushed me into one of the 6 ft. swimming pools.
I saw that it was Cris' female assistant who pushed me and she was laughing like a witch. If it was her, I would drown her in this pool shit! I hugged myself and closed my eyes because I felt so bad and was so cold.
"P-Pleas—" I couldn't finish what I was saying and my vision was blurry.
"W-WHAT happened? Drizo, sorry I fell asleep!" I said when I saw Drizo but my body was still weak.
"Are you okay, Denise? Cris already fired that crazy woman." I looked at Rey who was speaking and Drizo.
"I-I'm okay.. Sir, I'm going home now"
Justine stopped me and explained everything that happened earlier.
"Go home. I also know you don't have money to pay for this" Drizo said and left.
I only realized now that they had taken me to the hospital when I saw that everyone around was all white and that I was wearing a hospital gown.
Rey were about to stop me but I immediately stood up and followed Drizo.
"You have no right to treat me like that! I'm your personal assistant but for several years you've treated me like an animal or like I'm not human! Why is that?" I was surprised when he was about to punch me in the face but Cris immediately punched him.
"You're fired, shit" he said. He called me shit?! I was surprised when Cris suddenly punched him again and started to get into a fight.
"Hey, out of the two of us, you look more like shit! gross!" I walked out and forced myself to walk down the hallway while feeling dizzy. I feel like I was going to fall. Gosh, I'll take some medicine as soon as I get home.
I was about to take the stairs down to the first floor when I fell to the floor.
"Denise!" I heard Louise say and ran towards me.
"L-Louise..." I was about to stretch my arms but I could barely move due to the pain in my body and couldn't help but moan.
I LOOKED around and saw that I was already in my room at home. I was still in my hospital gown. I felt like one of those crazy patients who escaped from the hospital. Who took me home? Louise, probably. May must have almost fainted from the excitement earlier. Too bad I didn't see her reaction!
