Lunivera looked at the sky, now pitch black, and wondered when it would all end, with her sword in her hand covered with blood,as the four rulers descended upon Atherion and issued the decree:
"if the strongest of the world sacrifices themselves, we shall bring back peace in this world again."
No name was spoken, yet everyone knew who it meant. Lunivera.
I stood there, staring at the rulers, speechless at their cruelty. I had no words. Serenya, Ilyaris, and Kalean came running toward me. Serenya shook me, trying to bring me back to my senses.
Her golden eyes felt as if she is gonna cry just
"You aren't going to sacrifice yourself, right?" she asked, voice trembling.
"You're going to fight, like you always did, aren't you?" Ilyaris demanded.
Kalean stood silently, trying to process everything staring at me.
I smiled, feeling my aura push them back as I started walking toward the rulers. I turned slightly and said,
"I leave my legacy, my nation… everything to you, Serenya."
She screamed and tried to run toward me, but an invisible barrier stopped her.
"Don't do this! There has to be another solution!" she cried.
"There is no other solution," I said quietly.
"I don't need your legacy, nor your nation. I just want you by my side! If this world demands your death, then peace is nothing but cruelty!" Serenya shouted.
I looked at her and smiled.
As the ritual began, white light started covered to cover me, I felt myself as if slowly fading. Darkness caught me, pulling me away.
I looked last time at my companions screaming and everything turned dark.
"live"

Serenya's POV
I kept trying to break the barriers my hand started to bleed but I kept trying but by the time I broke the barrier, it was already too late. Lunivera was gone. The last thing I heard from her was a single word:
"Live."
I stood there, staring at the spot where she had vanished, feeling as if my world had shattered. I wanted to scream, but no sound came.
Everything around me began to bloom. The sky cleared, and the sun slowly rose. Yet, I felt broken.
When I turned to the smiling rulers, I realized the truth: they just wanted to remove lunivera from their path ,to them lunivera's was nothing more then. Without her, the balance of the world would collapse. Even this is a temporary peace
I grasped Lunivera's sword—the Sword of Chaos, its aura half white, half black, untouched by time. Anger blinding me, I stepped toward the rulers, with Ilyaris and Kalean following, weapons at the ready.
"Oh, dear child, do you wish to fight?" the rulers asked, pity in their voices.
"I have already done it," I replied.
-----
In my hands, I held Lunivera's soul. Small, broken, but unmistakably hers—a white orb containing fragments of her memories.
"I've retrieved her soul. I finally did it."
Ilyaris and Kalean looked at me in disbelief, yet a small, hopeful smile spread across their faces.
Tears streamed down my cheeks as the white orb began to rise, floating into the sky before disappearing. It wasn't gone—it had moved to a new life somewhere in the universe.
"I will bring her back," I whispered.
Kalean and Ilyaris exchanged glances and nodded silently, understanding the vow.
I handed them Lunivera's sword, the symbol of rulership, and opened a portal.
As I stepped forward, Ilyaris stopped me.
"Didn't Lunivera stop you from using this power? Won't it harm your soul if you use it too much?"
I smiled. "It's for her sake. I would sacrifice everything for her."
And then, I entered the portal.
Ilyaris remained standing silently, while Kalean gently comforted her, both aware that the journey ahead had only just begun.
