Chapter 6
"Guys!" I called out to Cam and Aria when I saw them with Rosy also looking for things to buy. It was recess. Cam had been ignoring me for 3 days and My mom were mad at me when I told them to go to guidance but they went anyway and then they started talking. It's embarrassing for Jay's parents.
Cam was about to leave and go in another direction when I stopped him and grabbed his wrist. "Do you know why I'm ignoring you, Denise? Because you're flirtatious! Who do you think you are? Out of the four of us here, you're the most empty-headed!" the three of us were surprised when Cam yelled at me and pointed at me.
"Let me tell you, I'm not just a brainless idiot here, I'm also a copycat, you know! Besides, is that my fault that your crush likes me now? Did I tell him that? Just because of a guy, you're going to ruin our friendship?" I shouted back and walked out, with Rosy following me.
Cam was left there dumbfounded and unable to answer while Aria held both of his arms.
Rosy and I went straight to our room and found our room as if it had been hit by a storm. I found Jay napping at his desk. I approached him and when I touched his forehead, I was surprised to feel how hot he was.
"Just let the next teacher know. Jay's fever is high," I immediately led Jay away, who seemed to have woken up.
I JUST asked about Jay and then I saw myself leading Jay towards their house which was not far away. We were almost there.
"What happened?" I asked but he just kept his eyes closed.
I helped him lie down on his bed and put the blanket over him. I took a bucket of water and a handkerchief and wiped him off. While wiping him off with the wet handkerchief, I was surprised when he suddenly grabbed my hand while his eyes were still closed.
"Love, there are foods on the table, I bought your favorites there" he said while squeezing my hand.
I immediately went to their living room and saw my favorite foods.
I took it to his room and placed it on the small table.
Jay and I shared it while chatting and then I gave him some paracetamol and he went back to sleep.
I left their house. I'm going back to school because I stayed so long, I don't know what subjects I missed.
UPON entering the room, I immediately sat down next to Rosy and noticed that there was no teacher yet.
"Let's go to the cafeteria first! What time is it?"
Before I could answer, he grabbed my hand and pulled me to the siomai shop.
"I'm full," I said. My god, Jay and I ate so much earlier! He also bought me new make-up products that I saw earlier at their house, placed on the sofa, and there was even a letter!

"Baks! Reynald seem to.." Rosy said, making me look at Reynald and his group.
Why do they seem to be approaching us?
I saw them walking straight and seriously until Reynald came in front of me. Towards us.
What's wrong with him?
"Reynald? Your group members are—" I couldn't finish what I was saying when he suddenly walked closer to me, making me step back in surprise until he cornered me against the wall.
"W-What's wrong with you?!" I shouted but I was surprised when he suddenly kissed me and was about to touch when I pushed him and kicked him.
I ran back to the room and I heard Rosy curse at her and follow me. "Baks, that's disgusting!" I immediately wiped my lips.
I sat down and just leaned on the desk. What if Jay finds out what will he think?
"Denise" I was surprised to hear Cam's voice which made me look at his serious face while Aria was next to him.
I was surprised when he suddenly hugged me. "Baks, sorry" he said and I hugged him back.
"I don't know why I liked that fool. He feel so handsome and always just do cutting class, " Cam said while crying.
I also cried and sobbed until the four of us were crying.
"Did he kiss you?" I nodded to Cam and was surprised when he suddenly walked out of the room, leaving us to follow him in shock.
"You're so brave!" Aria shouted as we followed and looked at Cam in surprise. It was like we were behind Cam and it looked like there were friends waiting for us.
After leaving the old building, Cam just walked straight ahead, acting he was going to start a fight.
While walking, we passed by Reynald, but we were surprised when Cam passed him.
"What's your trip, baks?" Aria said laughing, and she and Rosy laughed together.
"Stupid where is Jay?"
The three of us looked at each other, he obviously just looking for Jay and how crazy our friend was.
While Cam was walking around campus and I hadn't told him Jay had gone home, I saw Reynald and I approaching us.
"Hey, Reynald and his friend are here!" I managed to look away from Reynald and was about to tell them my friends to leave already.
"Denise!" I heard Reynald say when suddenly a tall man walked past us and punched Reynald in the throat.
When Reynald was already lying down due to the punched he had received, the man suddenly grabbed my hand and pulled me away from there. Jay?
He was just walking straight and seemed to be thinking about something. Jay looked scary now and his vision seemed to be darkening. The others stepped back as we passed by and the other women seemed to be thrilled while looking at Jay.
We entered the old building when we were on the stairs he stopped which made me stop too. He kissed my forehead which surprised me.
"Are you okay, love?" his face was gentle as he stared at me. But his fever was high earlier?
