Cliffs POV
It's been a couple weeks since I've seen my mate. I miss her like crazy. I've also been a little on edge since her text where she said as long as we were both faithful we would never breakup. It's made me question if she knows something because why else would she make a point to say that. Outlaw and I decided during my break I will make sure she knows how much she means to us and that we cut ties with Cat, we can't risk Amy finding out that we weren't faithful and by continuing to mess around with Cat the greater the risk of being caught.
Cat came up to my school a few times after the beach hook up and Outlaw and I have enjoyed her every time but I think our hook ups have finally run its course. She's also tried starting problems with Amy, no doubt trying to get her to break up with me so she can try and have me for herself but that will never happen, she was just a temporary distraction, a way for me to taste something forbidden before I got tied down for good. Besides if I don't end things now Cat will definitely start to get the wrong idea about what we are.
As I drive home I keep getting message alerts and even though my reflexes are better than humans, being a wolf and all, I don't look at them. If it's Amy she won't expect me to answer because I let her know when I was leaving and knows I don't answer my phone while I drive, if it's anyone else they can just deal with me not answering for now. As soon as I'm home I park and go up to my room when another message comes through. This one is a picture message and as I look at it I am shocked at what I see.

Christian: Dude, did u and Amethyst break up? I've been seeing her and Rhett hanging out all over town.
Josh: Dude, can't believe u didn't tell any of us U and Amy split.
Jared: Is Rhett her fated? Is that why they are together? I thought she was going to reject her fated for you, her chosen.
Fred: WTF!?
Fred: Cliff I swear I didn't know about this or I would have said something.

Fred: Answer my call brother, I swear I'll help you kick his ass. I know you two don't get along and I've known him since childhood but this is BS, Rhett going after your mate is out of line.
I just stared at the screen, I couldn't answer Fred because I was no better screwing around with Cat, but Amy and Rhett, it just didn't make sense. Amy's not a cheater but the evidence was right there in my hand, people took pictures of them together. They weren't even trying to hide it. I know our town is pretty big but still it was bound to get back to me and get back to Cat, surely they knew this. Maybe Rhett is just messing with me, maybe the S.O.B. set everything up including pictures to make it look like Amy was cheating on me so he can try to take her from me. There's only one way to know for sure, I need to confront them both at the same time.
