The next day I took my sisters to the mall for our girls day. We all got manicures and pedicures then we went to this adorable little boutique that does cute little dress up days for the younger girls. Jade and Hazel weren't as thrilled to be there since it was for young girls to preteens and they are 15 and 16 but I promised them I would bring them somewhere they would like to go next.
Brooke, Raine and Ivy looked so adorable after their makeovers. The boutique ladies really enjoyed their jobs and making girls feel like little princesses. We even took some pictures that we could get framed for our mom for Christmas.
After the boutique Jade and Hazel decided they wanted to go to the boardwalk. Luckily because it was off season parking was free. Not too many places are open but there's a few arcades, indoor mini golf, go carts and fantastic pizzerias that we could go to. We ate lunch first then decided to go play. I sat with Brooke, Jade sat with Ivy and Hazel sat with Raine during go carts since they were all too young to sit by themselves and they absolutely loved going fast around the track. Sometimes it's nice having a bigger age gap between the three younger girls and us older three because then we can evenly split up and no one has to sit out. As we were getting out of the cars to go play at the arcades, we unfortunately ran into Catherine.
"Oh hey Amethyst! Fancy seeing you here! Oh my goodness are these your sisters? They are so cute!" She exclaimed in fake excitement. Hazel rolled her eyes as did Jade and they both grabbed the younger girls and walked off. They knew Catherine from school and both hated her just as much as I did, even though now I might just hate her more than I did before. 'I want to rip her throat out' Summer sharply spat. 'I know Summer but we can't, especially here.' She just huffed and retreated to the back of my mind so she didn't have to deal with her like I did.
"Uh yeah, they are, if you'll excuse me, we are having a sisters' day." I turned to walk away.
"How's Cliff?" She asked smugly. Oh this Bitch! I turned around looked her dead in the eye with a smugness of my own and asked "How's Rhett? I heard you two have been fighting since the bonfire." Ignoring her question.
"We have not!" She shrieked, "Where'd you hear that?"
"Things get around. There wouldn't be trouble in paradise since you know, made out with MY boyfriend would there? I'd hate to see Rhett leave you for someone better, especially since he's always had girls ready to jump his bones, especially before you came around." I was pushing her to see what she would say.
"He wouldn't do that, we have an understanding and we respect each other. Besides his family wouldn't allow it."
"Oh I'm sure you believe that. But Rhett knows how to get around any understanding you may have. As far as respect goes, you have to earn it to get it and the way you acted at the bonfire definitely shows you don't respect him so I wouldn't be surprised if he gave you a taste of disrespect himself. But what do I know."
"You bitch! That's not true! You don't know anything!"
"Whatever you say!" I kept walking letting her just seethe a little.
"You should be concerned about your own relationship, Cliff didn't show you any respect either by the way he kissed me!" She yelled. I turned around and looked at her again. "I know, and I let him know that as well. I also have my own way of dealing with his disrespect so I'm not too worried about it, but YOU definitely should be." I emphasized the 'you' hinting that I knew way more than she thought. She has a lot more to lose than I do if what Rhett said is true.
"What was that about!?" Hazel asked when I got to the arcade
"Nothing, Catherine just trying to get under my skin as usual."
"I hate her so much, she's always bragging about how she can get any guy she wants, regardless if they are in a relationship or not. She has no boundaries." Jade stated.
"Yeah well if she does get a guy to step out on his relationship, he's no better than her and they both deserve what's coming for them. Karma's always a bitch." I replied. They both nodded in agreement. If only they knew I was talking about my soon to be ending relationship with Cliff and Rhett's plan of revenge on Catherine.
Later that night
Cliff: Hey Baby, miss U! How was UR day?
Me: It was great for the most part, took all my sisters out for a girls day. Went to the mall got mani/pedis, went to that little boutique that gives kids makeovers. Brooke, Raine and Ivy looked so cute when they were done. We took pictures and are framing them for mom for Christmas. After that we went to the boardwalk, did go carts and the arcade after eating lunch. We had a good time.
Cliff: I'm glad U had such a great time. What was "for the most part" about? Something happened?
Me: Just ran into Catherine and she asked me about you so I asked her how her relationship with Rhett was going bc I heard they aren't on good terms right now. She got all defensive and then made some snarky comments about us and how you were disrespectful to me by kissing her.
Cliff: I'm sorry about that baby, I really am. What did U say to her?
Me: nothing really just told her that we already talked about that and she should worry about her own relationship. Then went inside the arcade and had a good rest of the day with my sisters.
Cliff: well I'm glad things didn't get too heated and again I'm sorry for disrespecting U that day but I'm glad we already talked and made up, I couldn't imagine us still fighting over it like those two and possibly losing each other. UR my mate and I love U and won't do anything to ruin that!
'Yeah right, you already did, you just don't know it yet!' Summer thought bitterly
Me: I know, trust and faithfulness, go a long way. As long as neither one of us betrays those things we will never have to worry. We will be together forever once we have our mate ceremony.
'Which isn't going to happen since you already failed at those things.' I thought and Summer agreed.
Cliff: UR right baby! Anyway I should let U get to bed, school tomorrow & stuff! Love U, Good night!
Me: You too! Night!
