Fred's POV
We all make it down to my basement game room, it has a nice wraparound couch, a recliner and a loveseat with a huge built in projector and gaming console. My dad went all out when making this our man cave and it's perfect for hosting parties.
Everyone takes a seat and I notice how Rhett decides to sit right next to Amy and I can see it's pissing Cliff off. I've seen the pictures and they do look pretty incriminating but I still can't believe my childhood best friend would screw over my high school best friend by stealing his girl. I honestly didn't think Amy was like that but maybe I'm wrong. Other than the pictures and the rumors going around I can't be 100 % sure there's really something going on between them. I know from personal experience that pictures can be taken out of context so I need to help Cliff discover the truth. Hell it's why I threw this damn party tonight. I also think I have the perfect game to see if the rumors are true. Let's hope this works and I hope they are wrong because I can't imagine the hurt my boy would go through if Amy and Rhett have been sneaking around. Especially since I know he wants to take her as his chosen mate.
"Alright everyone! Tonight we are playing 7 minutes in heaven!" Cliff snaps his head over and glares at me, he's trusting me to get the truth but I highly doubt he saw this one coming. "The rules are simple, I pass out these cards, there's only 1 matching pair, whoever gets the match has 7 minutes in that room right there to do whatever they want, however consent is demanded and both parties have to agree to what goes on behind that door. If anyone does something you don't agree on, let me know, and if you're the person doing the wrong you won't want to know what I'll do to you to make sure you follow the consent of others again. Let's Begin!"
I pass out the cards for the first round, the couple goes in and we set the timer, while they are doing there thing we play a side game of truth or drink to get everyone loosing up and to keep the conversations moving. When the alarm goes off and the couple comes out, I pass out these cards next set of cards. I don't choose Amethyst and Rhett right away because I didn't want to be obvious that we were trying to set them up but I also wanted them to be on the tipsy side so that they would most likely let their guards down and actually hook up under the guise of a game if they are messing around or they will just talk like anyone else who gets partnered with Amy anytime we play this game. It's always been common knowledge that when we play, the only person Amy will do anything with is Cliff and vice versa. I figured it's why it was a perfect way to scope out our suspicions. Cliff would know instantly if Amy does anything but talk to Rhett in that room, he notices the tiniest things when it comes to that girl. Plus Rhett has never been subtle when he hooks up with anyone during the game, even when he started dating Cat, he may have toned it down but he always still left his mark in someway. So I have no doubt if he and Amy are messing around together he would never pass up an opportunity to mark her regardless of the risk of getting caught.
Amethyst's POV
After a few rounds of couples it's my turn and of course I get paired with Rhett, he has a smug look on his face when he turns to me, stands up and hold out his hand. "Looks like it's you and me baby." He says with a wink which earns a growl from Cliff.
"Cliff he's just teasing. Rhett Don't call me baby." I respond getting up off the couch. Before I go too far Cliff grabs my wrist and pulls me in for a kiss and a grab of my ass. "Mine." He growls. "Oh stop, we've played this game loads of times before and you know I don't do anything unless it's with you." I whisper in his ear. "I don't like how he's acting towards you tonight." He responds. "And you know I would never cheat, don't you trust me?" I ask. He grinds his teeth and just nods so I walk with Rhett to the room and shut the door.
"So what's our play here?" Rhett asks
"Huh?"
"Should we make it look like the rumors are true, see if they will confront us tonight OR do we do what you normally do and just keep it PG? Better decide fast since we only have 7 minutes." He explains.
"We are keeping it G rated, no parental guidance necessary," uggggh, Rhett groans out, "buuut, I have an idea. If we stay in here longer than the 7 minutes it will drive Cliff insane enough to bust through the door. So you sit over there and I will stand over here and we will just talk." I respond
"Talk?"
"Yes, talk."
"You know I never just talk during 7 minutes of heaven, right?"
"I'm aware. You also know that I never do anything but talk to whoever I'm with and you also know my stance on our "relationship" so we would have just talked either way."
He scoffs, "Right, you "never" do anything but talk unless you get paired with Cliff."
"Well, duh, he's the only one I did anything with because we are dating, granted after tonight we won't be."
"Even if he doesn't confront us tonight you're breaking up with him?" He's look at me curiously now.
"Yeah, Summer and I decided that no matter what happens tonight we are ending it. He wants us to go camping after Christmas and I just can't do it. I feel disgusting when he touches me now and if we went camping and he tried to persuade me to sleep with him or touch me in anyway I think Summer might actually kill him." I shrug. He then stands up and strolls over to me. Placing his fingers under my chin making me look up at him. Then he wipes away a tear, I didn't even know I was starting to cry. "Shhh, don't cry." He coos and hugs me into his chest. I break.
"It's the first time I let my emotions out. I've been so numb since that day and I think it's finally starting to sink in, my relationship is over. I loved him for two years, thought we would be mated this summer after I graduated and because he couldn't keep his dick in his pants, it's over, he ruined us." I sob.
