"You wanted to see me" I said as I bought before my father, the great king Arthur of Ravenspire."yes, York Kingdom seems to be doing very well,I'm impressed ", he replied and I chuckled,"what do you want" I asked directly. He had never been interested in my kingdom,that's was why he gave me Firefell,the smallest of all the provinces for me to rule but over the years it has become the biggest of them all and my brothers envied that. I dare to say people only knew Ravenspire because of Firefell. My elder brother Luther,the first son and royal crown prince was given the biggest Silver peak, which was known for the kingdom of parties and women. Luther already has five wives and I heard he Intended on marrying the sixth soon,my second brother Rafael was given the second biggest Frostholt,he was a war hungry king and that sometimes cost him to lose a lot,he wanted fear but his methods were unreliable,I on the other hand had expanded Firefell and it was now the greatest province. I had conquered parts of Ravenspire that Arthur had forgotten about and now Firefell was almost as big as the kingdoms capital Stormhelm where my father acted as the ruler over all of Ravenspire but we both knew Firefell had only one king and that was me. " I got a great alliance for you with King Nicolas of Emberwood,you will take his only daughter,Hazel as your wife" he said and it took a lot of self control for me not to burst out laughing," I don't remember taking orders from you especially not concerning my private life" I said,as I turned to leave he called me back," I will give you Shadowmere if you get married to princess Hazel" he said and that made me turn back to look at him, I did want Shadowmere it was the last province in the north I hadn't conquered yet,if I did I would officially own the North and East parts of Ravenspire, "you know I would take it if I wanted too" I said and he nodded, "but I was hoping we'd settle this in a civilised manner,you know no blood involved" he said and I nodded, "fine,get the papers for transfer ready and also the wedding is in a week" with that I walked out of his office. I was about to leave the palace when my little sister ran towards me, "are you really leaving without saying hi" she said, "of course not,how are you Mia" I asked, she was the only one of my three siblings who spoke with me. My brother's avoided and hated me like a plague, sometimes they'd go as far as calling me the devil's son. I didn't really blame them though. I was easy to pick on,my father hated me and they knew I had no protection so they'd bully me until one day we fought and I accidentally almost killed Luther with just a single punch. My father noticed my unique strengths and had the guards train me hoping I'd die in war one day but the opposite happened. I led my first war when I was sixteen and I managed to kill half the people who waged war against us. Since then rumours started spreading about me being the devil's son,some say I'm the devil himself and everyone just avoided me like the plague,my brother's hated me and they were glad to see that everyone hated or feared me leaving me all alone. Mia never cared,she knew the things I could do but she never stopped talking to me, she was a few years younger than me and she always said I was her protector,which made me laugh because I was sure I wasn't protector, " I'm good,it's just boring inside these palace,take me to Firefell with you, dad won't listen to me but I know if you told him he'd let me go with you" she said, " I'm taking care of somethings Mia,but when I'm done I'll come get you " I said and she smiled, she walked me to my horse where we said our goodbyes and I went backs to Firefell. When I came down, Maya the head of maids was standing at the door,she bowed when she saw me, "get the other chamber and the main bedroom in my room ready" I told her and walked away.
