He falls into a freezing sea and seemingly dies, only to awaken and face supernatural occurrences. A mysterious metallic object is embedded in his chest, granting him the ability to counter all forms of supernatural power. Unintentionally, he becomes entangled in the conflict between a small state, the Ven Republic, and two colossal empires. At the same time, the “Revolutionary Faction” is another group he must infiltrate and use as a stepping stone to gain power. His ultimate goal is to establish a strong base of influence, hunt for the stars, and uncover the truth behind the mysterious command: “Disappear from the stars.” Victor’s strategic maneuvers are layered with multiple roles: surviving on the political battlefield, investigating the origin of the object in his chest, and confronting the stars and the vast skies beyond human comprehension.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 The Three-Tiered Sky

The body dissolved along with its waning strength, and the senses became empty, abandoned into an unreachable abyss. He sank into the depths of a dreamless, lightless trance.

Plunging through whispering, tearing currents, his soul was pulled apart, pausing the symphony of life. Screams of anguish echoed beneath ears that could never forget. A single tear fell over a bodiless face; light reflected off it, scattering radiance in ten directions, like one spark from each star.

It was as if hope and dreams shimmered faintly, widening the eyes, countless beams of light overlapping the darkness, suddenly shattering and stretching out as the first rays of the sun. The dreamlike imagery gave way to visions of art beyond imagination. Indigo dyed the darkness, while lights illuminated the surroundings.

Faint awareness returned to the body—hands gleamed as though flesh truly existed, arms and legs angled according to the awareness of the form. A moment passed. A single drop of water shattered, unleashing fragments of roar into a storm across the three-tiered sky. Clouds split into pools, colliding and merging with different layers of the heavens. Three skies unfolded: indigo, violet, and dark.

Through fragments of clouds across the indigo sky, they gathered into dense masses, covering the heavens. Beyond, the violet sky sparkled as if portraying the cosmos at night. For an instant, as his body brushed against the edge of the dark sky, the indigo clouds surged downward like infinite, ravenous hands. The final glimmer of light twinkled faintly above the horizon. Shadows of darkness spread over everything before a light burst forth from the void, obscuring sight.

The light transformed into waves of energy, piercing through its own trembling origin, illuminating boundless darkness until it extinguished as icy cold reached the nerve endings, opening his eyes wide.

Bubbles erupted from his nostrils as he struggled up to the water's surface. The briny taste flooded his throat, a crushing weight of confusion and wetness. His hot, rapid breaths darted as his eyes frantically searched for the nearest shore. Shadows alternated with hopeless darkness, the dark waters obscuring his vision. Waves rose and fell, sweeping him away from the shoreline, and a scream echoed—a girl's voice, high-pitched and filled with torment.

Strange sensations clung to his body, as if being pulled apart. The cold bit into his skin, cracking it with traces of blood. The violet water glimmered when it touched his body. Amid confusion and agony, his body, powerless against the waves, found hope in a single distant light. Covered in ice, his body became frenzied, arms flailing toward the faint glow.

The waves overwhelmed human resistance; death lurked constantly, and he challenged it in pursuit of his own justice. Flesh tore along his arms, shattering like shards of glass. Cold spread through him, carving pain across a hopeless face. Miracles devoid of life and comprehension ended as mere brushstrokes on a canvas. A chilling touch gripped his thighs and neck before everything sank into darkness.

Beneath the dark purple canvas, the underwater nightmare unfurled, revealing the depths of fear. A false darkness, tinged with pale purple like sunlight through water, enveloped all. Without reflection from bubbles near his lips, everything seemed swallowed by the deep, unfathomable silence. The purple scene faded, replaced by a twisted vortex of darkness—an underwater maelstrom. A body was swallowed in silence, descending without a sound of thought; life released from worldly touch. The body was left facing darkness, crumbling into faint particles, dissolving into the eternal currents of death.

Bells rang across the waters. Tiny lights scattered, transforming the abyss into a cosmos-like scene, as if stars pierced the frigid depths. The lights approached, lifting him from irreversible darkness. Though the images remained hazy, their warmth spread over his skin, reviving the lifeless body into a sensation of existence. Hands revealed their five fingers and soft skin, gripping his arms tightly.

Time passed before he reached the surface again, barely believing his eyes. He tilted his head back, gasping as the bell's chime ended. Sunlight touched his dark face. The first scent of life and the faint ocean breeze comforted his confused spirit. For a fleeting moment, he glimpsed long black hair drifting and a radiant figure diving beneath the water.

His heartbeat thundered, body temperature awakened his soul to life. Awareness returned fully. Arms and legs moved with the mix of confusion and fear. Desperate for breath and warmth, his arms paddled against the cold current, reaching the shore. He gasped loudly, vomiting seawater onto the sand, rolling and searching his forearms and hands for wounds.

Though none of it had truly happened, his body endured the sensations of experience. Reality made little sense, yet he comprehended through his mind. Doubt and astonishment lined his thoughts. He looked up through the intricate branches, and the sky remained the same. Exhaustion overcame him, arms and legs weakening, effort devalued by despair.

Thought corroded his mind; progress seemed like wandering in darkness, searching for light. His body was abandoned, incapable of resistance. Eyelids drooped as his head sank to the ground
