Calendar of the Age of the Sea Circle, Year 1519
East Blue, a small island in an unknown sea region.
"Where am I? Shouldn't I… be in the bathroom?!" Peter muttered, his face filled with confusion.
He was now sitting on the white sand at the edge of a beach, staring at the unfamiliar surroundings.
The sparkling blue ocean was bathed in sunlight, lush trees grew behind him forming a dense forest, and birds flew across the sky, chirping as if to welcome a beautiful morning.
But for Peter, none of it looked beautiful. In fact, he felt the place was eerie. He glanced around cautiously, recalling the last memory in his mind.
...
This morning, he had been in his university dorm. He had just woken up and was preparing to take a shower before his morning class.
But as he entered the bathroom, still half-asleep, his foot slipped on the wet floor. His body was suddenly thrown backward, shaking off his drowsiness—but it was already too late.
"Am I… dead?!" he panicked, before darkness swallowed his consciousness.
...
When his eyes opened again, he found himself lying on a white sandy beach.
"Am I… dead?" he muttered, touching the back of his head. There was no pain from the fall, which made him even more confused. If he wasn't dead, why was he here?
Various thoughts swirled in his mind—was he dead or had he been kidnapped? But before he could ponder further, a blue panel appeared before him.
Points: 0 (?)
{Gacha}
[Free 1×]
Seeing the familiar panel, Peter's fear diminished slightly, replaced by anticipation and excitement.
"No way…" he muttered, breathing a little faster.
Peter had read novels and comics since high school, and his favorite genre was crossover. He loved imagining himself as the protagonist, exploring worlds full of adventures and beautiful women.
And, most importantly for a crossover, he needed a cheat.
The panel before him erased all his doubts. He was now sure he had crossed into another world—and this panel was the cheat that followed him.
Peter focused on the panel to study it carefully.
Reading what was written, he began forming an idea of what kind of cheat he had received.
"System? …open status… lily… seems like it doesn't have intelligence."
He tried calling it as written in the novels, but there was no response.
However, he noticed a tiny, almost overlooked icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
"Ohhh, I almost missed this," he muttered, scratching his head. Without hesitation, he pressed the (?) icon, and a small pop-up panel appeared:
~ 1 Point required to perform Gacha.
~ Points can be replenished by exchanging Devil Fruits.
~ Gacha rewards are completely random, but nothing is useless or harmful to the owner.
Peter read every word carefully, as if it were a final exam. The moment he saw the words "Devil Fruit", his eyes widened.
As a fan of One Piece, how could he not know? These were the magical fruits that granted their eaters superhuman abilities.
If he had any doubt about his situation before, it vanished now. He was sure he had crossed into the world of One Piece, because Devil Fruits existed only here.
Thinking of all the adventures, battles, and beautiful women from the comics and anime he had watched, Peter's heart filled with anticipation and ambition.
"Hahaha… Nami, big sister Robin, Hancock… wait for your husband to come get you!" he shouted gleefully.
Excited, Peter pressed the Gacha button. The button disappeared, replaced by a simple text box. Words scrolled too quickly for him to read.
After three seconds, the text stopped and displayed a large word followed by a smaller descriptive sentence:
[Teleport: Move to any location within a maximum range of 10 km. Consumes stamina.]
Peter was shocked as he finished reading. Teleportation—an overpowering ability in any world.
"I don't know if I'm lucky, or if all the skills in this Gacha are this good," he muttered, a wide grin spreading across his face.
He couldn't wait to try it. Focusing on the distant beach, he imagined teleporting there. In an instant, he had moved fifty meters from his original position.
"Success! I can really teleport!" he shouted, grinning from ear to ear.
In his excitement, Peter appeared and disappeared along the beach like a ghost—sometimes above the trees, over the water, even high in the sky.
Soon, he collapsed onto the sand, out of breath.
"Hah…hah… Damn, this really drains a lot of stamina. Probably because I have too little stamina to begin with."
He realized that even with teleportation, physical fitness remained the foundation in the One Piece world.

After some rest, Peter began exploring the island. He found several large crabs and shells along the beach and some wild fruits and coconuts in the forest.
He started a fire by rubbing two dry sticks together, then roasted the crabs over it.
The sizzling sound of the crab juices meeting the fire filled the air, releasing a tempting salty aroma.
While waiting, Peter cracked open a coconut, drinking its sweet, refreshing water. He also sampled some wild fruits, tasting the mix of sour and sweet, while watching the waves crash against the shore.
When the crabs were cooked, they turned bright orange. Peter picked one and began cracking the shell, revealing warm, tender meat.
Each bite was savory and fresh, the aroma of the sea blending with the smoke from the fire. He sat on the sand, enjoying a simple yet satisfying meal, as the sea breeze swept across his face.
After a while,
Peter took a deep breath, full and satisfied, staring at the endless ocean.
