GTAG Chapter 6: Planet LV-223
Deep beneath the sea, Godzilla drifted aimlessly through the dark waters.
To be honest, he didn't really know where to go.
After thinking for a while, Godzilla finally decided to look for an undersea volcano.
The radiation levels there would be much higher, making it more suitable for his growth.
Of course, he wasn't just wasting time while searching.
This body still held far too many unknowns.
Now that his evolution had stabilized and his body calmed down, he could feel another force lingering within him.
It wasn't something that belonged to this body. It was something he had carried over when his soul descended into it.
Could it be the so-called cheat from his crossing?
Probing inward, Godzilla soon found that hidden force. Because it was originally tied to him, he quickly understood its nature—and even learned how to use it.
It was a vast amount of spacetime energy that had clung to him during his journey into this world.
Normally, such energy should have dissipated almost instantly, vanishing like a drop of water on cotton left in the sun.
But thanks to Godzilla's powerful evolutionary abilities, he managed to preserve much of it, even transforming it into a usable ability.
An ability to sense and travel to other worlds.
When he realized this, Godzilla's feelings were complicated.
It wasn't useless—but what he really wanted was to directly convert that spacetime energy into his own strength, to truly command time and space itself.
But perhaps that was too much to hope for.
Time and space were omnipresent, yet immeasurable.
If not for his soul already having crossed dimensions, his body might never have adapted to wield even this small fragment of their power.
So he had no right to complain.
And since he understood the potential of this ability, Godzilla couldn't help but try it.
If the world of Shin Godzilla existed, then surely others did as well.
He wanted to see them with his own eyes.
More than that—perhaps by traveling through enough different worlds, one day he could truly master spacetime itself.
As his will focused, his fusion energy drained rapidly.
World after world revealed themselves before him.
With each discovery, knowledge of those worlds flowed into his mind.
Alien vs Predator.
Prometheus.
Two unusual worlds.
At first he was puzzled.
Prometheus was the prequel to the Alien series, which also connected to Alien vs Predator.
But then he realized—the Alien vs Predator universe wasn't truly tied to the main Alien films.
They were separate realities.
By the time his energy dropped below ten percent, Godzilla stopped searching.
In the end, only those two worlds were locked onto.
He couldn't deny his curiosity.
But they were both dangerous.
The Yautja hunters had interstellar travel and terrifying weapons. He felt he could handle a single ship—but there was no need.
What truly intrigued him was the other world.
Not the Xenomorphs, but the Black Goo.
A mutagen that forced living creatures to evolve at terrifying speeds.
Uncontrolled, unpredictable—even its creators, the Engineers, had been undone by it, leaving their test world as a forbidden wasteland.
And LV223 wasn't the only one.
Godzilla had found one such forbidden world.
Compared to the Xenomorphs, the Black Goo was far more interesting.
Would it even affect him? Maybe, but probably only slightly.
What decided him was a memory of the Prometheus short film: David's Laboratory.
The android David used the Black Goo in twisted experiments on the female survivor, creating the facehuggers and Alien eggs.
The ability to rewrite life's structure and fuse genes across species was shocking—even to Godzilla.
The potential to expand his own genetic library was too great to pass up.
But he couldn't go yet.
His energy reserves were empty.
He didn't know how costly this ability was for other beings, but for him, it drained fusion energy fast.
Two worlds, and he was already nearly spent.
Thankfully, his recovery was as quick as his consumption.
And once a world was locked in, traveling there cost far less than finding it.
That was a relief. At least he wouldn't face the humiliation of finding a new world but being unable to enter.
After several impatient days, his reserves were full again.
If not for finding an undersea volcano, the wait would've been longer.
Now fully charged, he didn't hesitate.
With a single thought, his massive body vanished from the volcanic depths, the magma around him trembling from the disturbance.
············
Planet LV223.
A world cloaked in mystery.
Throughout human history, it had appeared many times.
When civilization was still primitive, people mistook it as mere faith and ignored its meaning.
But once technology advanced, scholars realized the repeating patterns found across cultures were coordinates.
Coordinates pointing to an unknown world in the stars—LV223.
No matter how much humanity wanted to deny it, the evidence was clear.
They were created by aliens.
Every sign pointed to that truth.
